Nick turned back around and took a left that exited into a small room with a ladder. "I'll wait for Aden. You go." Nick ran back to the entrance and looked to check on Aden.

"S-sure." Ciaran hesitated, unsure about it then she added. "Be safe, both of you!" Putting her hands on the rungs, she climbed upward.
"Prisoners escaped? Really?" John spoke into the handheld radio, watching his bird circle above. He'd come to a stop when he'd heard the report, having been stationed near the area. "That's a first." It was nice and sunny out, his hat shading his eyes from the sun's glare. "Hm, what? Yeah, I'm near the site where they disappeared at. Some...forest, I think. Guys're crawling around the place like ants too. Kind of hard to miss it."

Aden turned around, and saw Nick coming for him. "I told you I was coming just had to make sure, and slow our pursuers." He said to him as he went to the ladder.

((I wasn't coming towards you I was waiting at the entrance to the ladder room =P Oh and where did we start this?))
"Just go." Nick waited for Aden to go up and started up himself. They exited into a canyon cave area. "Come on they'll be breaking through to here in about 15 minutes." Nick took the lead along a narrow path along the edge of the canyon.

((Start where? I think California.))
Ciaran looked around at the high dusty walls of canyon. She figured that they must have come a long way from where they'd entered into the tunnels. "Where are we now?"
A cry from above made John look up to his flying companion. It came spiraling down as he put his arm with the glove on it out. The radio crackled again. "Think I might've found them," He called at it. "Where's that one guy, anyway? The one with the scar?"

"Grand Canyon. Or the southern part of the grand canyon. There should be some boats up ahead and we can just ride it north and from there we make our way to Alaska and then...Russia." Nick heard a hawk and saw it fly away towards some hills. "Okay time to move. They found us."
A call for him went through the radio. Agent G and the other persuers were planning to break down the sot walls that led towards their prey. "Yes, this is Agent G. Who is this?"

"The Grand C-Canyon?" Ciaran glanced nervously over the edge to peer at the bottom. "How'd we end up here?"
"Sgt. J. Carnegie, stationed here in America." John said absently, wiggling his hand around in the falconer glove comfortably. "So I heard a couple of prisoners escaped. That's unlike you."

Aden looked over the edge then said "Don't worry about falling, if you start to fall I'll earth bend a platform under you. Well it sounds like they are breaking through my earth walls quickly so we better get to those boats."

"No, they have a folconer somewhere close. We have to hurry." Nick walked a bit faster as he said this.
"Yes, well they're not exactly normal prisoners...well one isn't anyway. A Nick Ashford. He has a level 4 mutation. Catching him won't be easy. The other two are Ciaran Triel and Aden Marcel, both level 3 mutations. If you are able to, subdue them. If not, the use of deadly force is permitted. We should be with you in a few minutes. Good hunting. Agent G out." Agent G shut off his radio and pushed passed the soilders and placed a large charge at the center of the wall and got behind cover. He pressed a switch on a control pad and the explosive went off colloapsing the walls until there were few left standing.

"Hm." Ciaran nodded, just a tiny bit comforted. She'd never been to the Grand Canyon. Despite the danger, she looked around the surroundings in wonder.
"Yeah, good hunting." John replied to the now silent radio. He tucked it into his belt, thinking of his strategy. The girl should be the easiest, even if she was a level 3. Even then, he'd try to take out as many as he could without killing them. His hand went briefly to one of his Colts. "I'll just wing it if I have to." He said finally, checking the position of Jangle again. Then he darted off along the rocky ground, he'd left his motorcycle at the road, and to the edge of the top part of the canyon.

Nick felt the earth shake a bit. "Their getting closer...there are the boats." Nick pointed at a small motor boat meant for park officials. "Not much further we'll have to start climbing down."
Agent G picked up the last explosive and placed it. He then retreated again and blew the explosive. They had finally broke through. "Move it! We can't let them escape."

((For now. Hopefully in a few weeks or so I'll be at my dad's place.))
Ciaran looked at the boats still fairly far away. Climbing down the side to get to them made her shake in fear. "What if I just...made a ladder?"
Feeling a faint vibration in the ground, John broke into a faster sprint. That agent and the others would probably be too late to get to the three escaped prisoners. He put two fingers in his mouth and gave a shrill whistle to Jangle, who emitted a similar one above. The falcon dove down sharply to attack and distract the prisoners, and John reached over and pulled one Colt from his belt. He slid to a stop at the very edge of the upper path, waiting for Jangle.

Aden turned to Ciaran, and said "Yeah that's a good idea faster than me earth bending platforms for us. You better hurry it sounds like they are getting through my earth walls faster than i thought they would."

Nick was about to start his descent when he stopped and his ears picked up the cry of two falcons but one was more human. He looked up and saw a diving falcon. "No time to climb down. We gotta jump. Aden, take Ciaran on ahead. I'll try to slow whoever's after us down." Nick began to jump across the gorge but it looked like he wouldn't make it. Nick then began to summon swords under his feet enchanted with wind so they floated so Nick began to hop across the divide.
