(( Lock picks or lockpicks )) Shadow was in a jewel store, fed up with waiting for the Titan's. He left it in... oh what was her name... Eleanor! He left the box in Eleanor's room, hiding it in her desk. Shadow had put a lock on it, so no one could open it, except him, of course. Shadow needed this nice gem for bribe money. Well, more like a payment for a doctor to get the antidote for the poison, neurotoxin, whatever was in his bloodstream. Shadow finished the last lock and grabbed the gem, anxious to pawn it off and get the money to his doctor.

Dimitri's head twitched and he grabbed it. "Ah!" He gasped. His whole boddy shuddered then went limp for a split second. Then he strightened up. His hands went over his shoulders and grabbed the bench and in one motion he pushed upp the ground and flipped over the bench and landed on soft feet behind it, He had changed mid flip into the punk teenager. "WeLl I'd LoVE TO StAy ANd ChaT" HE looked over at Jumper "EspiCalLY WitH THe TeLEPorTeR bUT I HaVe AbOuT...19,297,729 PEoPLe ToO SEe" He said then left.

Jinx smiled a fake smile and listened a bit more as some foreign dignitary rabbited on about some such nonsense that she really didn't care about. Honestly, who gathered hundreds of well dressed, jewelry toting, world power holding men and women in a room? A room that existed in a city that was currently crawling with villains and thieves. Okay so she was one of those thieves, but none of these people knew that.
The politician had started repeating himself and Okiku rolled her eyes, choosing to excuse herself. Grabbing a glass of champagne she went out onto the balcony and watched, thanks to her curse, she could feel every bit of mayhem and chaos and unluckiness in the city.
"To chaos!" she toasted with a bitter smile.

A black dark tinted window car pulled up infront of the venue where a large collection of the rich and wealthy were assembling. Oot of the drivers side, a tall man with long brown hair that went down his back and dark tinted sunglasses wearing a black tieless suit with shined black dress shoes walked of too the valet and tossed his keeys wrapped in a twenty dollar bill, it was probally the largest tip the guy had gotten because he grinned and said he'd park as close as he could. The man in the suit smirked abit and kept walking. The security stopped him and asked for a name. He said he was originally invited but had too cancel due too a business matter that had been cancled at the last minute, and with nothing better too do the man had decided too come here. He held out an printed peice of paper. The guard gave it a once over then let the man pass.

Okiku's forehead creased as a sudden spur of chaos happened on a lower floor. Why did she think about bad things when it was obvious they would happen? She swallowed the last bit of golden bubbley and dropped the glass off of the ledge, smirking a bit when she saw someone walk inside.
How lucky was he.
"Oh well, I'll probably spill something on him later," she mumbled in Japanese before grabbing another glass from a waiter and starting her rounds about the room again. Jinx wanted to see just who Mr. Man was, and she couldn't do that out on the balcony now could she.

Kogi moved about the room in his civlian outfit. He had nothing better too do and he saw this little party going on so...he invited himself. Tonight he was going too enjoy himself abit more then usual, but not anymore talking then usual if he could help it. He moved about the room with a glass of white wine in hand. He would have perffered Sake bu but they didn't have any so white wine would surffice. He avoided any conversations and made his way too a quiet corner occasionally taking some food off a platter of a passing waiter but otherwise by himself.

Okiku walked up to the man silently, black and crimson ballgown flared behind her. The stylized kimono wasn't the warmest thing in the world, but it made her the center of attention. She gave thejapanese man a look before smiling when she felt it was someone she could probably converse with in her native tongue.
"Boring isn't it?" She asked him, slinking up to his side. She knew the walk of a swordsman, they always leaned to one side to compensate for their sword. "All of them are liars and thieves, yet they get away with so very much. It's amazing the way society thinks."
She recognized the man faintly, and she wndered if he remembered her, though she'd been wearing a mask and a catsuit when they last bumped into each other.

As the front line began to surround her, and Erik as well she was sure, she backed up against Erik, and frowned. "That's all?" she said as she blasted the first row away with a Mind wave. "Simple, yet effective." She said as they dissolved before her eyes. "Show me what you got stranger." she said curling her finger to let him know to either A. Come closer, or B. send in more. She looked seductive when she did it too.

Eleanor looked at Dimitri for a quick second then back at the man. As Dimitri left Eleanor was still staring at the man with her guard locked on, trying her best just to hide her fear.
Wait....he's got nothing against me....I should get out of here, I dont even know how to control my powers, emotion? Hah! I dont know how to control those either.... She thought, turning and starting to walk away. At this point, she felt very uncomfortable and wished to be a safe distance from this one, maybe back at the tower.

"Not Much different from the past"He said. Before taking a sip of his wine. He glanced at the person. She seemed famliar, maybe he just saw her on the street or something...no she had too have a good sized bank account in order too be here so it was more likely in a magazine or newspaper.

The man-Shadow, was it?-was across the room, holding the real Diamond of Santari, or whatever it was called. Georgie didn't really care. All she knew was that Queen wanted it, and therefore, she would have to get it.
Creeping up silently behind the man, Georgie waited for the perfect moment to pull out a knife and put it at the man's neck. "I sort of need that."

((sorry im not on more. my job keeps me pretty busy. ill try to be on as much as i can sweatdrop ))
alexi was caught off guard by the smoke bomb and he took a big whiff. his inhanced senses analyzed each particle. knock out gas. when he awoke later, he found his arms were tied to something and he couldnt move. he was still too foggy to think of much else.

Anthony nodded and touched his chin with a thoughtful expression, "It appears you have found a way, however simple, which disappoints me; I might add, to keep my little friends away from you." he said. Anthony smiled, "Even if only for a little while." he figured she would be able to survive the spirit's attacks for a while, wthough it would probably weaken her quite a bit. The spirits reformed in front of Tragedy and they flew through her, attempting to take her soul, her essence of life. Though they didn't succed, as he previously thought, they had stolen much of her strength and power.
Jumper looked at Eleanor, "Come on, you're hurting my feelings. I can be civilized." he grinned and teleported in front of her, "Hello again." he cackled.

Eleanor jumped and sighed backing away. "...Well I'm sorry...but....I ...I've just got somewhere I have to be right now..." She walked around him and picked up the pace, walking a bit faster.
