Roman gave a slight nod. "I figured so." He extended the hand that was not on Phoenix's neck. "I'm Roman. Pleasure to meet you, Kahlilia," he said.
"Come on," Esmeralda complained. "You've got to tell her the rest of it, otherwise I don't get nearly so much fun."
Roman rolled his eyes. "Exactly, Ez," he said offhandedly. "There was a reason Mom and Dad made that the middle name, okay? It wasn't really meant to be shared - it was a private joke." Giving Kahlilia an apologetic grin, he said, "Esmeralda wants more people to know because then she can joke about it more often."

" Well alrighty then" Emily replied mounting Apollo and she headed to the entrance of the ranch and waited for Keith.
She had a good feeling that something was going to happen today and couldn't help but feel giddy inside.
(( I wont be on tonight since i'm going to a dance at the school))

Shannon climbed into her truck and called out, Anyone who wants to go to town, come on! I'm only taking four!
Keith smiled and followed, riding past Emily and started down the dirt road towards his ranch. You sure you don't want to go into town with Shannon? He reined B to a stop as he looked back at the girl.

" I would rather spend my time getting to know you a bit more" Emily admitted with a blush rising up into her cheeks.
Apollo trotted alongside B with a lazy look in his eyes. Now he was having fun since his friend was busy as usual.

Keith started B walking again, and he gave a light laugh. Great. Well. . . I'm Keith Davis. He glanced over at her, already ahving introduced himself that morning.

Emily couldn't help but laugh as well as she brought Apollo beside B. Seeing as how Apollo was ready to run there.
" Emily Anderson at your service" She said with a slight bow of her head.

"If you want to call it a gift." Xavier mumbled. His anger was slowly fading and he realized that he was making Nanina uncomfortable. He didn't do anything, just stood where he was and watched her with a suddenly confused look.
Kahlilia smiled and took Roman's hand. "Pleasure to meet you as well."
She couldn't help but giggle as Esmeralda joked to Roman. "I see." She smiled again, green eyes glittering.

Nanina turned and held out a wet and slightly soapy hand. Give me that dirty dish. She told him, forcing a smile.
How old are you Emily? Keith asked her.

Xavier obeyed and gave Nanina the plate. "... Hn... " He said. He stood beside her for a moment, seemingly hesitating. "... Mind if I help?" His voice was a mumble when he said it. Yes, it was possible to erase away his normal Xavier-like behavior, but it rarely showed. In fact, he was quite different around his younger sister. He wondered how she was, back at home thousands of miles away with their parents.

Roman gave her a light grin, shaking her hand briefly before letting go again and undoing Phoenix's halter. Watching the big horse spin away and run, he muttered, "Well, there's progress, anyway." Turning back to the girls, he asked Kahlilia, "Which one is yours?"

Nanina gave him a look and then nodded. You could rinse these, if you wanted. She pointed to the sink next to her full of washed dishes.

"Wow, you're really lucky to at least have gotten through to him. I've heard a lot of things about Phoenix... " She said quietly, watching him run away. Where did he always go?
"I've been assigned to Benvolio. Hes pretty much just like a really big child." She smiled, and then turned to Esmeralda, "... how about you?"
Xavier nodded back at her and walked the two steps over to it and started to rinse the dishes obediently, but he stayed quiet. He could have said many things, in both good and bad ways, but he did not.

Roman grinned. "What luck? It was all skill," he joked, before growing serious again. "I guess he just took a bit of a shine to me." He watched the horse run, smiling a little.
Esmeralda grinned. "Sahara," she said. "The little chestnut Arab. She's already given me a concussion and it's only the second day," she said laughingly. Then she shrugged and asked curiously, "What have you heard about Phoenix?"

Shannon started the truck and then peeked into the barn. Anyone want to go into town with me? I'm leaving in 10 minutes. She waved at the retreating forms of Keith and Emily, then started for her house to grab her purse.
Nanina washed almost half of the dishes, since there where few, in silence. Do you have any siblings? She asked finally, hating the quiet.
((I'm going to dinner, be back ina few hours.))

"Either way, its still really awesome." She smiled. "... I wonder where hes going."
When Esmeralda said the word concussion, all of the color drained from her bright face and her smile faded. She muttered something, but the color evantually came back when she saw her smiling and making a joke of it. Her smile returned with it and she said, "I've heard hes very aggressive, and has his share of the lady horses. But, I could be wrong."
"Yes, one sister. Blaire. Shes 14 and my dad always says I'm like a second father over her." He rambled about her for a moment before shaking his head to take his head out of the clouds and said, "You?"
