Hit Girl nodded almost drunkenly, her eyelids drooping dangerously. She didn't, however, make any moves to get to her feet. In truth, she hadn't really processed the statement. My own room... that's back at home... no, not home... No Daddy, now, so... what... Hot chocolate, right? ********, what's wrong with... me?

Jean Grey tapped Des' shoulder, "Dr. Powell, we could use one of the Biobeds to speed the girl's recovery."
Des thought about this, "I suppose we could, but I still want to check her for the prescribed period to make sure there are no complications."

Hit Girl's eyelids drooped even further. "...Wh...aa?" she mumbled. Sleepily, she looked at the redhead again. "You're Jean Grey," she informed the older woman. Sheer exhaustion made her slur her words. "That wasn't a very good movie, you know. The third one, I mean... stupid..."

Jean blinked seeing the image in Hitgirl's head.... and found it disturbing. Both she and Dr. Powell helped the girl to a biobed, "Get some rest, Mindy."
As Jean walked away, Des thought about what the redhead said, "Don't you need permission to do that?"
Nightshade turned his attention back to the girl, "While you do need to get some rest, do you need anything to eat or drink?"

Hit Girl, however, was officially and completely out. She'd fallen back against the propped up pillows, a little blonde hair sticking out from underneath the purple wig, and was breathing at the slow, measured pace of the deeply asleep.

After Hitgirl had drifted off to sleep, Nightshade made sure she was comfortable -- as well as disarm the kid vigilante. As Des removed various instruments of death, he wondered how this kid got her hands on guns, knives and.... a double-bladed sword!?!
Nightshade went ahead and secured everything.

Minron ((Enter Pirate Signal from Areas Outside of New York.))
The image of the Commissar soon appeared on every available unblocked screen in New York, from televisions, computer monitors, and even cell phones, the Commissar's voice could be heard through New York.
"Greetings people of New York; I apologize for the interruption of your shows, Internet access, and mindless thumb twiddling, but I must inform you that New york is now under Eastern Bloc control. Your police force has been neutralized and as I speak, my soldiers are securing and making order in this city. New York is under my control."
As the Commissar spoke, soldiers dressed in red armor and carrying crimson weapons marched the streets, pushing people out of their way and making 'examples' of people who dared stood against them or were in the process of committing a crime. No civilians were to be killed, merely struck and sent on their way. A few citizens who brandished firearms were put down, their weapons confiscated. Several gangs and other criminal groups and hideouts were immediately sought out and placed under arrest or exterminated, often the latter. The Eastern Bloc had records of these groups before hand, so they made easy prey, through only the smaller groups; crime lords like the King Pin were left untouched due to the man power it would take to bring such large groups down.
"As you can see ,my soldiers are acting as I speak. Please maintain a orderly conduct and behave or be eradicated. Remember, better to be red, then dead."
((Sorry, didn't know it was in New york.)) [This broadcast would show up in the X-Men War Room -- identifying it's source unless that's actually blocked. I'll ask Minron later]

((OOC: I wasn't sure if a pirate signal would show up n the X-manor since I have no idea of any kind of shields used to block such broadcasts are installed, but it was one three other sections, I'm sure everyone read it.))

//Earlier, Nightshade set everything up to monitor all broadcasts in the region. He was trying to track something else down.//
After the broadcast had piped over the speakers, Nightshade rushed to the War Room and began scanning different channels -- seeing the Commissar's troops marching and raiding in New York, "You have got to be kidding me."
The veteran crimefighter began to switch out the tranquilizer darts in his Mauser for live ammo. Then, Des began to check through some armaments he had 'relieved' from drug dealers on an eariler date.

((Enter the Comrad Foreman and Four Comrads.))
This was the institute, but the Foremen was told only to secure the area around the building; it had defenses and hostile mutants, so it was best to not create hostilities. As long as the meta humans remained in their manor, there was no true need to engage them. If this process went on too long, it was even programmed into the Cormads to bring them food; as meta humans in league with one of Weapon-X's subjects, they would be vital to any future plans.
the Foreman simply stood idle, while the other Comrads did the same in a migration like formation as they simply watched from not even beyond the gate of the institute, but as far as the road that lead to it. Xavier was an intelligent one and the defenses for the X-Mansion could probably be span to beyond the area's estate and thus, the Foreman needed to be cautious. At this range, it was nearly impossible to tell how many meta humans were inside, but it was best to remain at this distance due to protocal.

Nightshade punched up the display on the in bound Comrads, "Computer, analysis."
"Inbound units similiar in construction to Nimrod class Sentinels. These have similiar power outage, but lack the endurance of the original Nimrod. Analysis shows a weakness to elemental attacks. Also, no evidence of the regenerative programs is evident. One of the five units appears to be acting as a information hub for all Nimrod units."
Des thought a moment, "So, we knock one down, it doesn't get back up.... I've read up on the Sentinels, but I'm open to suggestions. Anyone?"
