Tunda blinks, then nods, tilting his head slightly. "A joke?" He sighs, looking down at his feet again. "L-looks like I've got even more to learn then." Peering around Mel into the room, he looks at the different pieces of furniture, then back up at Mel. "So, what are we moving first?"

"Oh yes. Dust bunnies don't really do anything, unless you kick up the air and send them spinning," the dragon grinned. He was actually a bit surprised that Tunda wouldn't know such things, being a former slave. Was that all he ever did?
He peered out into the other room over his cup and finished up the tea. "Oh... we have some options. We could try and move everything into the center of the room then vacuum, move them against the walls and vacuum the center.... or we can move each piece of furniture as we go. What would you like to do?" Ooh, more options. He wondered what the pokemon would decide.

Tunda's tail swishes behind him as he thinks, going over the options Mel had just listed for him. "Moving them as we go would be hard, wouldn't it? Moving everything to the center of the room, then against the walls would be easier, I think...?" His ears perk upright slightly as he looks around the room once again.

"Sounds good," the dragon replied with a nod as he rose to his feet. "Let's do that then." That said, he went to rinse off his cup; when he returned he was smiling. "Whenever you're ready."

Tunda smiles and nods slightly, looking around the room for a moment before carefully picking up a couple of the small end tables and walking over towards the nearest wall. "Right here...?"

Mel nodded. As long as they picked one place to put everything, any wall would be fine. "Sounds good." He moved over to a couch and stopped by one of the arm rests. "Think you can help me with this one? You let me know if anything is too heavy for you. Re-injuring yourself would be a bad thing," he grinned.

Tunda smiles and nods, walking over and carefully grabbing one end of the couch, lifting as best as he could without injuring himself. "This against the wall behind the couch?" He asks, tilting his head in the direction of the wall.

Mel tried to take on most of the weight of the couch so that Tunda would be less likely to injure himself. When they got to the wall, he nodded and positioned his end up against the wall.

Tunda lifts as much as he can, not knowing that Mel was taking most of the weight. As they shift the couch, Tunda looks around slowly, making sure his tail wouldn't catch on or knock anything over.

Mel glanced at Tunda, taking note of how gingerly the pokemon was moving. He was not sure if he was trying to be careful or if he was straining himself. "Take your time. We can always take breaks if you need to."

Tunda looks up at Mel and smiles slightly. "Not tired, just making sure my tail doesn't knock anything over." With his attention diverted to talking to Mel instead of watching his tail, said tail swishes into a lamp on a table, nearly knocking it off its perch.

The dragon's eyes widened for a moment as the lamp tottered but did not fall. He would not have moved anyway; dropping the couch would have been very bad for Tunda. "That was close," he chuckled while maneuvering his corner of the couch over against the wall. "Maybe try wrapping your tail around your waist?"

Tunda blinks, then nods, carefully wrapping his tail about his waist. It was obvious that his tail did not like this option, however, as the tip thrashed rather violently at his waist. "Sorry..."

The tail's reaction to wrapping it around Tunda's waist was surprising and mildly disturbing. Perhaps he was not used to using it in such a capacity and the muscles were straining? "No, that's all right. Did you injure your tail? Perhaps we should ice it." He straightened after setting the couch down and stretched out his back. It was important not to strain or injure any muscles while doing a job like this.

Tunda blinks, looking down at his tail for a moment before shaking his head. "No, it wasn't hurt. It just feels odd, having it wrapped like this to where it can't move as it wants."
