Lonesome looked at the man. I suppose they think I'm apart of their group he thought as he made himself a fire. "Go ahead and find your friends. As for me, I never said I was going to join you just that I wouldn't leave that town until it was back on it's feet. I'll check on it later and if it's good I'll be on my way; until then I think I'm going to have me some food." He said as he got out a pot and some supplies from his pack. It has been awhile since I had some stew Lonesome thought as he dumped the supplies into the pot over the fire.

"Now, hold on. You may not know this, but there's about 6 million demons out there that would love to see your dead body. If you leave, there is about an 82% chance of your death. Saint Dane is still operating in this area. We can't afford to split up." Erik knew he was probably not scaring Lonesome, but maybe Lonesome would see Erik's reasoning. "Anyway, if you still want to head back to town... well, I'll escort you back. James, Atrum, do what you want."

He looked up from his cooking. "Well then I suppose 18% chance of living is better than 1%." he said grinning. "Besides death has been searching for me for a little while now already and who ever this Saint Dane character is I couldn't care less where he's operating, if you did fine without me before you should be able to do fine without me now." he paused a moment to stir his stew. "I will also not be heading into town just looking in on it from above." Lonesome said when he looked back up. He knew it would probably be safer to travel with these people but there was something about this man that Lonesome didn't trust.

Atrum blinked, sighing. "Alright." Other than accepting his appology, he didn't quite know what else to say to the man. He was so frustrating sometimes, and the boy was sure he didn't even realize when he was in one of his supposed moods.
"I'm Atrum." The blonde introduced himself to Lonesome too, but had the feeling the horned silverette could care less what his name was. Though he wanted to be polite incase he was just being paranoid.
He turned around, seeing the final glimpses of Mizuki before she flew away. The boy hated when she dissapeared like that, wanting to know where the girl was going. She was quite the enigma, and Atrum admittably didn't quite get her yet.

"Pleasure to meet you Atrum. You're friends with the light aren't you?" he asked as he kept stirring his stew. Finally a name to one of the elementals. The boy was young and looked a bit skittish, though he also knew that appearances could be decieving. He tested the stew and decided it still needed some time.

Atrum nodded. "Yeah, is it that obvious?" He smiled, feeling better about Lonesome than he had before. It was paranoia after all. The boy's element flickered a bit, teasing him with a witty reply that couldn't be heard. Though it didn't take much thought for Atrum to understand the 'I told you so' that it emitted. The light-boy rolled his eyes, swiping at the light like you woud a perstering fly before looking back to Lonesome. "and I'm pretty sure you're the wind elemental." The boy had seen him fixing the town with the others earlier. He and Mizuki were in the same area near the inn from what he remembered.

Great. As if the elementals weren't already a screwed-up bunch. Now there's one with a death wish! Good Lord, if you do exist, please help me convince this patheic, suicidal maniac to not run off like the lunatic he probably is!Erik was starting to get sick of the elementals. If it was up to him, he'd have abandon them and hunt down Saint Dane. But, he had crystal shards to collect, and perhaps it would be good to stay near the elementals. The Final Crystal had said something about the Crystals being linked to the Elementals. "Look, just because your name is Lonesome doesn't mean you have to run away from every potenial ally that crosses your path." Erik smiled. He was joking around, like he usually did. Appearently, Lonesome can fly. I don't think I could overtake him on the ground... and if I can't, Saint Dane sure as hell can't. "One question before you leave: Can you fly? Or is that just one of the many myths surronding the Wind Elemental?"

Looking up from his stew Lonesome looked at Atrum. "You're right I'm the wind elemental." turning to the man who seemed the leader he said, "I am not running from a potential ally, I said earlier you could join me if you wished but I would not be going with you. Whoever your fighting you have decided to fight, I have my objectives to complete. Oh and yes I can fly it's no myth, though I wasn't aware there were myths in the first place." he said as he took a sip of the stew and grinned. Pulling a wooden bowl out of his pack he spooned some stew into it and began to eat.

Erik smiled-something he had been doing a lot of recently. "Oh, there isn't myths, I made that up in case you couldn't so I didn't look like an idiot. Anyway, since you can fly, the Hellspawn Empire will have a spot of trouble dealing with you. What do you use for a weapon? I haven't seen you with one. And what on God's green Earth are your objectives? "

Placing his bowl down he looked up at the man. "I wield the sword and my objectives are to find a man with one ear." he said as he waved a fly away. Lonesome kept his eyes on the man as he picked up his bowl again, he didn't like the man prying into his business. Could he be an agent of my father? No,that b*****d would come after me himself if he found out where I was, that's why I must find him first. "So are you an elemental as well?" he asked hoping to find at elast something about this man.

"Man with one ear? Hm. Well, I'm no elemental. My objectives are much more simple. Find hundreds of Crystal Shards that seem to have something to do with the Elementals."

"So you're no elemental yet you seem pretty bent on helping them. Why do you wish to help them so much? Is it because you have some kind heart? Perhaps you were told to help them by someone? Or maybe you just see them as tools, to help you win against this Saint Dane person?" he said after finishing his bowl of stew and added some more to it. Lonesome galnced to the other two elementals, and wondered why they followed this person so easily.

Erik gave a hearty laugh. "It's a mix of all those reasons. While I don't see them as tools, I myself realize that no one can do this alone-even if you seem hellbent on doing so." Erik knew that Lonesome didn't hold him in high regard-they just met, after all. "Anyway, I'm going to try and catch some sleep."

This man seems to think that I'm going to hunt down this Saint Dane man myself he thought as he began to eat his second bowl of stew. "Then I bid you good dreams." Lonesome said not looking at the man. He decided he would take a look at the village after his stew and find out if it was truly in order. He also began to wonder if this Saint Dane preson had even bothered with the elementals until his man came along. Oh well it was no problem of his, by the next day he would be in the next town asking questions about his father and writing more in his book.
