Shin-lu didn't like how Roy was charging foward, it would be like a combination of a battering ram and a bull. She decided to roll to the side and fired two arrows just to test that armor of his.

(( so are we rolling dice for the battle or what? I can't find the key for what the dices stand for))

((yeah I don't think Roy and Shin-lu's battle should be decided by dice since dice rules indicate that the players are pretty even. roy has tougher armor, while shin-lu has agility and some elven blood to boost her accuracy, so if we decided to apply modifiers to dice, Roy would take less damage on the damage roll, Shin-lu would add a number to her hit die and subtract a number from Roy's hit die. so we'll just play it out like usual. Btw, I am sorry for not posting often, I've gotten hooked onto Mabinogi))

Shin-lu raised an eyebrow since Roy decided to get the arrows onto his back instead of his front, which meant that his front must have some weakness. Only problem being his front had a large jaw, two heavy feet, and two deadly claws that could break her. She was going to be at a disadvantage if it dragged on too long, she'd keep losing arrows. Shin-lu decided to use this time to scan Roy's body again, trying to pinpoint a weakspot. In order to keep him from noticing the pause, she quickly fired three more arrows, one aiming for his left eye, and the other two sort of shot at his general torso area.

Ilyana meanwhile continued to devour her snacks, the not eaten pile shrinking as a stack of plates, bowls, and napkins built on her other side.

Shin-lu began stepping back at Roy stepped foward, making sure that she would have enough time to recognize a charge from the brute. She had already picked out more than enough weak spots, but the problem was all of them were on the flipside of an armored section. The downside to the distance between them was that each of them could see an attack coming from the other well before it actully hit. Shin-lu was contemplating taking her rapiers out and just gambling her chances with Roy's legs, but she didn't like the odds. Close quarter combat would be harder still for it required her to be even more cautious.

Shin-lu decided to keep shooting arrows for now, despite that their use was diminishing. She continued firing, although now tried to time her arrow releases so that if Roy blocked one by swinging his tail, the other one might be behind enough to avoid it.

Roy would glare at his opponent, he was surprised she was lasting this long, but it was become she was being cautious. Roy again saw her ready her arrows, and this time his arms would cross in an 'X' formation in front of his face, while his chest was still protected by the chest plate and then his tail quickly whipped around to cover his legs and belly. All the arrows hit dead on, but where again blocked by Roy's impressive armor. Roy held the defense til she stopped firing arrows. Afterwards, Roy's arms threw themselves outward, giving enough force to throw all of the arrows that made contact flying to the sides of him. Same went for his tail, which whipped around to his backside only to flop on the floor.

Broken arrows were beginning to show up on the ground around Roy alot more since their battle begun. Roy didn't like being toyed with, was this all his opponent had to offer were these ranges attacks. Roy hated to play the distance game. Roy would look down and to the left of him. His eyes fixed on a certain object, a stone rock that was a bit in the ground. Roy arms would take ahold of it, and flex a bit, before they tighten and ripped the rock out of the ground. It wasn't a big rock, about the size of a small human's head. Roy would then turn to his side, and pull back his arm that held the stone like a catapult. Roy would then throw the rock right at Shin-lu. She would see it coming and Roy knew she was fast, however if she did get hit by it....

It would slam right in her chest, the force behind this rock was capable of breaking a rib or two and knocking Shin-lu off her feet. He threw it fast and he threw it hard, even if it missed, she would see the rock slam into one of the arena walls and leave a good size dent surrounded by small cracks as well with the same thrown rock shattering into pieces. It was a demonstration to show Shin-lu the brute strength of Roy. This battle was going to be pure speed up against raw power. Roy continue to glare at his opponent to see what her reaction would be. Shin-lu may also see another weakness in Roy, Roy wasn't very good at long distance fighting! He was build to handle up close and personal combat situations.

"You pretty good, but if all you have are those arrows you in serious trouble."
