Aras giggled and squirmed a bit. Rhea's tongue tickled her! But at his question, her smile faded slightly.
"I don't know," she admitted softly. "Corrah is ... well, I don't really understand him ... he really seems to pick on Ruran a lot ... but I'm sure he must have a reason ..."
She smiled and rested her hands on his back as he lay atop her. "Thank you, Rhea," she murmured. "I feel safe with you near me ... I would love to have you sleep near me always."
And she reached down and kissed the top of his head, stroking his back with her hands.
Armus smiled at Kanis, but her smile was a sad one.
"I'm afraid I must agree with you," she murmured. "Your brother does not seem likely to change. It's a shame, really ... he has potential to be great ... but he will not allow himself to be. He cuts himself off from those he can learn the most from ..."
She sighed, and then suddenly her expression turned bright once more.
"At any rate, we won't get anything done just sitting here and thinking about things we can do nothing about," she said cheerfully. "Come on, let's get you and Aras settled here."
She looked around, and her expression turned curious. "Do you have any idea where she or Rhea went?" she asked Kanis, raising one eyebrow at the girl.

Rhea tilts his head to look up at Aras enjoying the feel of her holding him like this. He felt right with her touching him so lovingly. He smiled and then blushed. "Arrras....is there anything I can do for you?" His mind was running around and it was a good thing that she had him pinned or he might try to work out a sleeping position right there.
Kanis shook her head, "No I don't know where they are...maybe we should call for them...Rhea always answers a howl." she smiled and fond a nice place to sleep that would be almost opposite from the place Rhea and Aras were. "I am sure they are not in trouble or we would have heard them."

Aras was really starting to relax with Rhea, and she was more than willing to let the two of them just stay there like that for the rest of the night.
"I'm happy here," she told him with a smile, "with you ... though I don't think it would be a good idea for us to sleep here tonight, we should find somewhere with shelter ... a roof over our heads, in case it rains ... do you know if there are any caves or really big trees or anything up here?"
Armus nodded and smiled. "That's true," she admitted. "Rhea does answer the call of his kind."
And without hesitating, she cupped her hands around her mouth and howled like a wolf, calling for Rhea to come back so that she could know where he was.

Rhea shrugs and smiles he would have keep Aras warm. He was in the middle of moving up Aras's body his legs shifted to startle Aras' hims. He was going to try and kiss Aras the way he had seen Armus and Corrah kiss when he heard his pack mother's voice. He sighed his ears lowering, "Armus wants us...." he moved off of Aras and smiled, "She will know." He let out a soft howl back to let her know he was no his way.

Aras was startled by the howl, but she sat up obediently. She knew that she had to listen to whatever Armus wanted, just like she would listen to Corrah ... she after all was their trainee, and she wouldn't leafrn anything if she didn't listen to them.
"You can stay with me tonight," she offered to Rhea as she climbed slowly to her feet. "If you want to ..."
She reached down and scratched him behind his drooping ears to try to cheer him up. She could see that he was disappointed, and she had a feeling she knew why: for the same reason she was.
Armus grinned at Kanis. "Good call, Kanis!" she congratulated the girl. "You were exactly right."

Rhea turns his hair falling over his duel colored eyes. He wolfish nature for once seemed to make him even more handsome. He looked at Aras with the look of a forbidden wild promise and nods, "I would gladly keep you and your bed warm any night you wish Arrras." He smiled at her and turned back to lead them both out.
Kanis bowed her head, "Thank you Armus...I just remembered that he is a wolf and wolves use howls and calls to communicate. Its how packs."

]Aras smiled brightly at Rhea ... she knew he meant what he had said, and she knew that she would be calling upon him oten to keep that promise.
She followed him back towards Armus and her sister silently, content to let him lead - mostly so that she could watch him from behind as they walked. He was so good to her ... so nice ... she loved being with him, and she was beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, she more than just liked him ... maybe she should ask her mother about it on the weekend, she would be able to tell Aras what she was feeling.
Armus grinned. "You just keep thinking like that, Kanis," she winked at her. "You've got a good head on your shoulders. Many others wouldn't think of such a thing because ... well ... they just wouldn't think of it." She laughed. "But you ... you've got a good sense of logic. Many people lack that. You just hold on to that, okay?"
She winked once more at the girl, then looked up as Rhea and Aras returned. "Ah, there you are!" she beamed. "We were wondering where you had gone off to. Did you find a place to sleep?"

Rhea walked with his soft sway his tail seeming to lag just a bit as he walks calmly. He was a bit frustrated because he had been stopped from trying to give Aras a real kiss. Maybe he was not ment to be a human and kissing was not for him.
He smiled at Armus and nods, "Nice place under rock wall....cave like." he said. It would be a great place to build a den and for Aras to have thier pups. The wolf side of him was very proud of the idea, but the human child side of him caused his face to turn a deep red color and he looked down at the ground ashamed of his animal thoughts.
Kanis nods and smiled, "Thank you Armus I will try my hardest.." she looked at the other two noting that Aras was very intent in watching their wolf companion. She wondered what had happened.

Aras smiled at Armus, standing beside Rhea and putting one hand on his head, lacing her fingers into his hair.
"It's got a nice soft ground, too," she added to his explanation, "so it won't require much work to make it comfortable for sleeping."
She scratched Rhea's head absently, suddenly thoughtful. On the one hand, she wanted to invite her sister to join her in sleeping there - after all, there was room, and it was comfortable, and ... well ... it would be nice to have her sister ... but on the other hand, she wanted Rhea to sleep there with her, and she didn't know why but she wanted them to be alone.
Armus saw the way Rhea's face turned red and how Aras was touching him, and she cleared her throat to keep from giggling. She thought it was absolutely adorable ... she wished she could show them some encouragement, but it wouldn't be fair to Rhea. He might be embarrassed by it ... well, she could encourage him later, when they were alone - that was, if he left Aras to sleep with Kanis.
"Well, then we just have to find a place for Kanis to call her home!" she said brightly, jumping lightly to her feet. "Come on, there are other places just like that overhang that are just as comfortable. You can choose any one of them, or anywhere else for that matter, for you to sleep!"
She put one hand on Kanis's shoulder and squeezed it gently, smiling brightly at the girl.

Rhea's eyes shut as Aras' hand laced into his hair. He loved the feel of her hands on him. He nuzzled up against them as she scratched him. He only wanted more of her.
He sat down and leaned his head against Aras' stomach.
Kanis looked up at the rock formation in the middle and looked up at the area near the top. She reached up and pointed up at a deep looking cave, "If I can maybe get something to use as a opening cover...and if the cave is deep enough I can stay up there....or I guess I can sleep down in a lower cave if there are no footing up there."

Armus looked at the cave thoughtfully.
"Even if you could make yourself a way to get up there," she murmured, "it would work. Rope ladder, perhaps, or something of the sort."
She rose to her feet and held one hand out to Kanis. "Shall we see if we can get you up there?" she smiled.

Kanis nods, "Yes please!" she smiled brightly. The thought of being in a fort like home up in the mountain with a beautiful view. She felt so wonderful at the thought and she moved to Armus to start climbing.
Rhea smiles, "Rhea help Arrras move in." he said and turned to softly head but Aras' leg and get her to walk back towards the cave. He wanted to let Armus know so she would not call him away when he was 'trying to be human'.

Armus was glad of Kanis's enthusiasm for her own sleeping area, and she smiled warmly at the girl and helped her to begin her climb.
"Make sure you test a hold before you put all of your weight onto it," she warned her, "so that it doesn't break when you do. Falling hurts - trust me."
She stood behind Kanis to catch her just in case of a fall, watching her anxiously.
Aras followed Rhea's hint and waved to her sister and Armus. "We won't go anywhere, don't you worry!" she told them happily, excited to be heading back to the cave with Rhea. She looked down at her dear friend, her eyes sparkling brightly. "Come on, Rhea, let's go!" she urged him cheerfully.
And with that she broke into a run, wanting to get as much time with him as she could before they were called once more.

Kanis nods, "Well then I do hope that it will be a prefect spot. It looks like the prefect face but if it is not big enough for me as an adult or at least a teen then it is not going to work." she said softly as she tested some holds watching them break luckily before she used them. She worked her way slowly up.
Rhea did not need any more encouragement than Armus' silence and Aras' excited words. He took off running towards the cave. he could be alone again and Aras seemed to enjoy him. She eve said she liked him. He smiled and ducked into the cave his eyes qiuckly adjusting to the darkness He sat back and waited.

Once Kanis was high enough, Armus began to climb up behind her.
"Well, even if it's not that big," she offered, "you could stay in it for now until you do find a bigger space. After all, you just grew: who knows when you'll grow again? I haven't grown in ..."
She giggled. "A long time."
Aras laughed and ran after Rhea, but even though she was the fastest of all her siblings she couldn't quite keep up with him and his longer legs. She reached the cave only a few short seconds after him, her heart racing from adrenaline and excitement, and collapsed onto the floor beside Rhea, dropping her bag and promptly forgetting about it.
"You're fast," she giggled, reaching out with one hand and ruffling his hair affectionately. Then she flopped onto the ground, arms and legs outstretched, her chest heaving from the mix of climbing, running, and new altitude.
