Ambretia ShinRa Hello. I'm ambretia shinra. I've been a fan of silent hill since I was five when my brother would play the games in my living room. For the longest of times I could barely stand to watch my brother play it, but after a while I got used to them . The only one I could watch the first. Time through was sh3, and I think it's because the main character was a girl. However, since then, I have started playing on the series and have beat origins like...five times. My favorite monster was and still is a tie between pyramid head and the slurpers. I love those guys... It is always wonderful to have new faces around here biggrin I hope you will enjoy yourself, and I too got into Silent Hill by watching someone else play it. Had it not been for my Uncle, I may not be here to welcome you all today hahaha. I may be playing Bubble Bobble or something like that xd

Hey I'm Blacktrystan (guess what my true name is... haha!).
I know EVERYTHING about Silent Hill, i'm the kind of freaky fan everyone knows. I have played Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, 4, Origins, Shattered Memories, and I've seen the movie. I also played some spin-offs, like Silent Hill Play Novel and Silent Hill The Escape.
I know homecoming by heart, but I never played it... (seen many Let's Play of it, though!).
I love this game for many, many reasons. The simplest one would be because it's actually not a game, but a true work of art. It's deep, beautiful, unique and intelligent. It's not really a video game, it's more an experience.
That's why my favorite Silent Hill of all is Shattered Memories. It's the one that was the most far from the ''video game'' ideology, and damn, the story was just plain incredible.
So, yeah, THAT'S ME, LOLOLOLOLOL!
Hope we will talk about SH more! wink

hello :0 names faiji and i am a Huge fan of silent hill!
seen all the games and proudly owner of a copy of the movie.
been watching the series for ages and when the movie came out it made me want to move to silent hill ;D
i know all the monsters by heart and i make posters for friends. :3
anywho i am hoping to meet Akira yamaoka this sebaten con in AZ this year smile
let me know anyone whos going to meet akira maybe we can cosplay?

Hello Everyone My name is Zombiepleasure, Zombie for short.
I originally started as a silent hill fan when I was 8 and my dad played the first game but never finished it (he got stuck on the piano puzzle in the school) so I was left thirsting as a coward to scared to play to know more, when I got with my Fiancee 5 years ago we got the game and I watched him play it through, after that we became addicted and Have played every game that has come out since like starving crack addicts. We even bought a Wii for shattered memories.
Our favorite of the series is Silent hill 2. I loved that story the most and MY GOD Pyramid head is my God. He decorates my living room wall and most change able screens like my Phone or computer. I plan to get a tattoo of him eventually when I figure out where best to put him on my body I'm think a scene of him ripping out of my chest cage would be appropriate or a small image of him making a heart with his hands over my heart.
So hit me up and chat me up about these wonderful games, I'm always happy to know more and share my opinion.
I'm becoming Insane.

Introduced to Silent Hill: I played the game in 1999 after borrowing it from an older friend. He was stuck in the school. I was 10 years old, I fell in love and have never stopped loving it.
Order in which I played the games: 1,2,3,4,0rigins, (Orphan 1 and 2), Shattered Memories, Homecoming [I didn't own a PS3 until long after I got SH: SM]
Favorite game: EASILY Silent Hill 1
Favorite character: Harry Mason
Favorite song (instrumental): Probably Claw Finger (SH1 OST) or Angels Thanatos (SH2 OST)
Favorite song (lyrical): Rain of Brass Petals Three Voice Edit (SH3 Mini Soundtrack)
Favorite antagonist: Hmmm... Probably James (I have a lengthy theory behind this answer, but the TL;DR version- He is the protagonist and antagonist of SH2)
Favorite Monster: Probably the Raw Shocks, mostly because I like to see the way they morph and change through the game.
So yeah... I could go on about this for like, EVAR. But I won't. : )

Hello all.
I'm Bandita La Bruise; but feel free to call me Ellie or Ellison.
I'm 20 years old; work at a breeding/boarding kennel for dogs, live in the land down under and am a studying artist.
I was introduced to Silent Hill at a young age as my dad decided it was a great way to baby sit and stick me in front of Silent Hill 1; I soon grew greatly interested for a short span of time - the interest was soon lost to comics and the world that was ruled by men in tights.
Though as I hit the age of 15 I discovered the first film and it reopened my love for the overall story.
As an artist my love for the realm is strongly prevalent in the decapitated dolls with replacement dinosaur heads, child like poems in the backgrounds of my pieces and my endless need to torch most of my pieces in the process of creating them.
I may not be the biggest fan but it is something i certainly enjoy.

I am a big fan of horror games, Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Dead Space. I have played SH 1,2,3,4 and Homecoming but I have seen Origin gameplay. For Resident Evil, I have played 1,3, Code Veronica, 4 & 5 only. (Sadly) For Dead Space.. Well.. Unfortunately, I have only seen the gameplay online.
I started playing SH when I was 8 or 9, my uncle, an avid horror game fan as well, left it on pause.. blaugh But I got scared and chickened out. I touched it again last year when I saw the game.
Other than that, I'm also interested in History and Art. (Anime included)

I'm 24 and love Silent Hill; obviously. I can't say exactly when I became a fan but it was years ago.
I've played SH2 and 4 and have seen all the others played through. You really learn to appreciate it over the years it's amazing.

I'm MeredithAngeline and huge fan of Silent Hill. I'm not really sure how I started on it, but the first game I had was SH3 and I played that game, beating it countless times! It's by far my favorite, altho that part in the end when she yaks up that...things and then Claudia or whoever, eats it. GAG! But yes, I loved the carousel part and all the parks in that amusement park. After 3, I got 1, 4 and then 1. I havent played the first one as much. Shattered Memories was probably my least favorite, because I rather fight than run away, pretty much non stop, altho I did enjoy the puzzles and...sessions I had in that game. I remember being at Six Flags one year, before the release of Homecoming, and CRAVING it. I said I want I want I want it! Finally got it, and it's a close 2nd favorite. I only played Origins once because I rented, so I dont own it, but I made sure to beat it once. I did like it, I enjoyed throwing things around. I heard you can do the same in the newest, Downpour. Buy me Downpour!
