Greetings.
I'm Sara, I'm 24 and I live in Italy. At the moment I am studying in a hotel school, sadly I abandoned Art school at 17 to work in Denmark and, later, in Norway. Now I live with my grandma and my cat Dinah.
I love to draw, make sculptures and read anything interesting. Travelling is part of me and being stuck here is a pain but luckily this is my last school year. I also enjoy videogames, especially the ones from Vanillaware and only lately I developed an interest into sustainable living and supporting non profit organizations. Better late then ever.

Im kei, im 20, i like health topics and hope to go green and such and am interested in a variety of topics to research about but its more random research than thorough research on individual topics, though some things are interesting enough to research more thoroughly than others lol.

Hi everyone! Gosh it's been a while (as in over a year) since I've even logged into Gaia. I'm probably the worst crew member ever. I'm really, really sorry to everyone for being gone for so long, and not having more spare time right now to devote to the guild. Know, though, that I'll be logging in here a lot more now that I've remembered my memberly duties =) Since many (most?) of you probably don't remember or know me, I dug out my original introduction from back at page 5 and updated it, just to re-introduce myself whee :
My name is Desireé, but you can call me Des or Mystic or whatever you like as long as I know who you're referring to. I'm 20, I'm a girl (but with quite a few masculine tendencies xp ), and I used to live in Texas, but now I'm in Northwestern Arizona! heart I'm also an ecoholic.
I like to sing and dance, especially belly dancing and swing dancing, I like music from every genre but mostly I like new-age, indie, alternative, rock, and things of that persuasion. I don't usually watch television, but shows that I will sit down for every now and then include: Family Guy, American Dad, True Blood, and Game of Thrones.
Meditation and playing with my daughter are my favorite pasttimes, closely followed by Nature Walks, cooking, and arts and crafts. I haven't had much time for cracts since my daughter was born in February last year, but I love making things, altering clothes, reading, and sometimes writing. Gardening is also a favorite hobby of mine, and this year my fiancé's mother and I teamed up and made a nice big garden! I've put a lot of work into it, and it's paying off wonderfully.
As my religion goes, I define it as mysticism but it can be related to Paganism, Druidism, Wicca, Celtic, and Native American spirituality. I've been on my journey toward the divine for a little over nine years now. I'm open to all religions and believe no one should judge negatively against another's religion because they all have the same or a similar basis of beliefs.
My favorite websites are Gaia, of course, care2.com, freerice.com, allrecipes.com, freecycle.com, Facebook, and various blogs.
Random fact: I've been on Gaia since March 2004, and have had five differnt usernames. As follows:
Dezzmasta, Silent Bloody Tears, Butterfly Immortal, The Sugar Pixie, Artistic Mystic, and now Mystik Mama.
In February 2010 my daughter Lilian was born. She makes me smile every day, and is the most important thing in my life. =) In January this year I officially started college; I've decided to get my degree in Early Childhood Education, so I can be a kindergarten teacher or day care teacher! Having Lily and hanging out with kids has made me see how much I love children (and has quelled my fear of screwing up kids' lives by being near them). I've spent time shadowing my town's kindergarten classes, and being surrounded by all those five-year-olds never fails to make me super happy.
I've also been engaged for a little over two years know; we're living with his parents and still trying to get on our feet. Both of us is looking for jobs in Prescott (about 60 miles from here), where my college is, so we can move out. Then we can start saving up for a wedding heart

I'm the Happy Raving Hippy and a 22 year old female in Texas, or you can just call me Hippy. ^^ I'm still in transition from being conscious of the environment to being truly eco-friendly. I have been studying herbology for magickal and practical use instead of using pharmaceuticals for minor illnesses and pains. Nice to meet y'all! ^^

I live in a little southern corner of Georgia where I am currently finishing up my last class in collage and working on the side in an archaeology lab (also working part time in a restaurant) In terms of my belief system I am agnostic,and big on earth friendly practices when I can manage it. I'm a video game/book/art nerd, and I adore Doctor Who if you can't already tell my by graphic and siggy. xp

Welcome all to the guild! (Sorry for the lateness!) You'll have oodles of support here for living green. <3 Video game writing sounds interesting! Are you speaking of programming or actual storylines? I typically nom Kashi with yogurt and blue berries/bananas. Yea mountain people! I live in the mountains too. (Though don't ask me if I ski! xD) Do you compost indoors or out? <3 Travelling is awesome. Variety is the way to go! I find it really helps put things in perspective. :3 Welcome! I know of quite a few D&D'ers but unfortunately none that live nearby to teach/help me. It really sounds like a lot of fun. Welcome back! I totally want to watch Game of Thrones. I'm a big fan of Peter Dinklage! Cool! I have a few books on using herbs and I'm growing them for home uses now. (I've made many face scrubs with chamomile, violas, etc.) Aw man, working in that lab sounds like so much fun! heart

It is awesome that you are working in an archaeology lab! Is your major archaeology then? What are you planninng on doing after you graduate?

Mmm that's sounds yummy! Except I can't have yogurt since I'm lactose. DX Or make sure your yogurt contains live and active cultures because the good bacteria in the yogurt actually help to breakdown the lactose into lactic acid. I know that works for me at least.
