*Synge stayed where she was, listening to everything. She heard the strange man's voice, and the slicing of the arrow. She waited to hear if Ben was going to get out safe. She wasn't sure if the stranger she had noticed was a friend or not. Her heart was beating quickly. She wondered, was she wondered, or excited?*

Within a few moments, Synge could see that the strange man had leapt up to face the attacker and the sounds of battle were happening atop the hill but Synge couldn't see that area from her vantage point.
She could, however, see Ben. He had assumed she was safe and had felt it was okay to do something she didn't understand. He pulled something out of his pocket and seems to vanish into the shadows.

*Synge continued to stay crouched and out of sight, she gave up on trying to see what was going on where all the noise was coming from and focused her attention on watching Ben. She wondered if he would end up running past her, if so she wanted to get out before he could see her. However, she didn't need to worry, as she clearly saw him vanish in a way other than running. She seemed a bit shocked, she never thought he would be involved in such things, but the act of vanishing didn't completely shock her. It was more the fact that Ben had vanished. Sighing she looked around her for a moment, and then sprinted back inside the tavern. She really wanted to stay outside for twilight to come, but apparently it wasn't safe right now. Seeing that Ben had not returned to the tavern she reluctantly went back to her room to clean up and get comfortable. As always, she made sure her boots were off first.*

Coming out of a daze, Turkin is looking around a bit confused
Man these black outs are coming more and more frequent.
Seemingly worried about what might happen Turkin looks around and notices noone is in the Tavern at the time and heads to the door.
Pausing for a moment to look back.
Well guess I will have to come back when I am in a bit of a bitter condition.
Turkin walks through the door and disappears just a bit down the road
(( sorry bout that in and out, still working on what I can do with gaia during the day between that and my 15 month old baby, be back late tonight smile ))

*After regaining her composure, and changing into something way more comfortable (she was really on a comfort kick today apparently), she made her way back downstairs. She was determined to see Ben for a minute, to be sure he was alright. Not to mention, she might get some answers. She was feeling a bit tired, so she wasn't sure how long she would be around, but she took a seat and waited anyway.*

*Sighing she decides Ben won't be coming back before she falls asleep. So, she goes back up to her room and lays on her bed until sleep finds her.*

Ben made his way back into the tavern. He saw Turk was still sleeping soundly and decided to make his way into his room, the less he had to explain, the better.

Ben makes his way back out into the tavern area, he looks around quietly for anyone and then heads into the kitchen to cook some grilled cheese sandwiches.

*Synge woke up feeling restless and uneasy. She suddenly remembered the events that had taken place recently and sighed. She knew should wouldn't be able to sleep in this state. After a quick stretch she made her way downstairs to see if anyone was around, or to at least get a glass of water. Once downstairs she looked around cautiously to see if she could spot anyone.*
No one?
*Her voice sounded strange in all the silence. She spoke no more and quietly went into the kitchen to get a glass of water where she runs into Ben, quite literally. She jumps backwards frightened, and when she sees who it is she sighs and gently pushes him.*
You scared me!

He appears to have been startled too and drops the pan with a loud ^CLANG^
Oh holy s**t! You scared me too...errr..I...hiya Synge...
Ben blushes slightly and then quickly continues prep work for the food.
Can I make you a sandwich?
