((For a post way back when: Besides, Gus would want you to save the girl.))
The whole time, Bowie, 'expert' tracking skills, (Hey, he somehow managed to hide from Gustave every time they left for a job...) He was able to, slowly, make his way after the two... From what he could tell, it was a man in a green tunic, who looked familular, and a girl... who also looked somewhat familular... 'Man... I hope they don't kill me...' Bowie thought to himself, as he took out his wooden sword, and approached slowly...

The girl obviously did not feel comfortable about giving about her name, and as much as it annoyed Link, he would just have to accept it, "You know, I don't think the gate was closed tonight, I saw it wide open only a few minutes ago."

No obvious fight came from Hyn. He collapsed forward, his eyes rolling back for a moment before they shut quickly. One last train of thought ran through his head before he completely passed out. Heh. Now let's see the little twig get me onto her horse. And then his dead weight lay upon the grass, still for the time being.

Zelda paused, thinking about the implications of that, then shook her head and slid all the way off the horse, landing gracefully on the soft grass. "It doesn't matter. I'm not going to be able to get back in tonight." She patted his horse on the neck, then paused. She could already feel herself getting sleepy again; this wasn't going to work, but she didn't see any other options. She looked back up at him, forcing a smile. "Thank you, again, Link."
Sila watched the man fall with a certain amount of relief; as much as she liked a good fight, it was late and she was tired. She whistled softly to her horse, and the animal walked over nodding it's head, then knelt heavily on the grass beside her. Sila nodded, then reached down, grabbed the man's arms, and began pulling him so that he lay across the horse's back. Even that was hard. "God, what do you do all day, punch trees?"

"Well if you're sure you're alright, I think I'd better get going," Link told the girl. As he was about to move, he heard the slight sound of rustling and his ears began to twitch. He looked around and spotted a younger boy approaching cautiously. It took a moment, but Link definitely recognized the boy, "Bowie, what the hell are ya'll doin' out tis late?"

Zelda raised her eyebrows, looking toward the source of the sound as well. "Bowie? Who is that?"

"Ah!!! Don't hurt me!" Bowie said, and ducked out of sight... but, then he noticed who it was... "Oh...! Link!" He smiled, and approached more friendly. "Well... I was coming to bring Gus back home, and... well, I saw you and her, and I thought you were bandits..." He continued, "Um... So... Link, where is he...?"

Link forced himself to avoid the fourteen year-old's eyes. He knew that if he looked into those young eyes, he would never be able to say, what needed to be said, "Your brother, he was... he was... look you have to understand, there was nothin' I could do..." Link could hear himself rambling and took a deep breath, "The truth is, he was attacked and taken. But I promise I'll find him.

Zelda's face went very white as she listened, guilt and fear twisting in her stomach. If the kidnapper was one of the Gerudos sent out to kidnap the Sages, this Gus' suffering, as well of the suffering of his friends and family, was all completely her fault. She'd felt horrible before, just knowing the basics of what she had allowed to happen; now she had names and faces to put with her failing, and felt a thousand times worse. "Who took him?" she winced inwardly at the slight tremor in her voice, and hoped that no one would notice.

Artanis was sprawled almost languidly on an arch some fifteen feet above the heads of two Gerudo girls, listening to their fascinating conversation. And it was fascinating. Only years of training had prevented him from chuckling at the fearful way one of the girls had spoken of his tribe. Not that the fear wasn't merited, at least on some level; he'd just never expected to hear something like that from one of Gannondorf's elite. It was almost.... disappointing.
He looked down at the other girl, the one who wasn't afraid of the Sheikah- even more disappointing than the first one's fear, that was- trying to get a glimpse of her face, but it was too dark. No matter; he knew her voice.
She was the one attempting to hunt him, apparently. Not much to worry about; the compass was a feeble enough threat if he took the proper steps. It could only point out what direction he was in, not how close or high up he was. Still, it would be wise to get it from her, at some point; leaving a loose end just because he thought it virtually irrelevant was... unprofessional.

The girl's question startled Link as he was expecting a response to come from the boy. Without turning around, Link replied to her question solemnly, as not to upset Bowie, "It was dark, I couldn't see much, just their figures. But, I could tell it was definitely a woman."

Bowie stood, staring off into the distance... "H-he's gone...?" He said, and was silent for a while... But, then he looked at Link, and said, "But... there is a chance that we can find him, right...?"

Every fiber of his being was screaming at Link to lie. To tell him everything was fine and not to worry. But still, Link knew that wasn't right. If anyone had a right to the truth, it was family, "I'm not sure, I just know she headed north, but that could still place him anywhere from Hyrule castle to Death Mountain. But I promise you, no matter how long it takes, I will find him," This time, Link looked the boy straight in the eye. But suddenly he remembered something.
the blond detached the enchanted bag from his tunic and reached deep within. After his discovery of the Spiritual stone, he had decided it would be a smart place to put his remaining inventory. Carefully he felt around until at last he felt the hilt of a sword. He pulled the sword out of the bag and handed it over, "I think you should take this, I found it outside the Ranch. I think it's Gus'"

"Ah..." Bowie said, as he took the sword, "It... is my brother's..." He held the sword, staring at it incredibly... "Link... I... want to go with you, and help you find Gus..." He said, staring at the blond intently...

The question did not come as much of a shock to Link. For as long as he had known Gus, which must have been a least a decade by then, his younger brother always wanted to tag along, "I suppose, two heads are better then one."
