(The Jakal was on your team.)
Aen looked back as Zhar fell. He looked at the shooter. "What. The. ********! He was on our side!" Aen said, with an angry face. He gripped his MA5 (Assault Rife) tighter.

Shinta watched with horror as three brutes walked into the bay, "Hey, guys this is no time for friendly-fire, espacially when there's a lone marine, with all his limbs broken... oh yah and three brutes stomping towards his position." he hissed into the radio and quickly swiched channels, "Liz there's been a bit of friendly-fire, and you might want to hurry up if you don't want to lose another marine." he said calmly, but with panic in his voice.

"Shinta. They shot one of my Jakals! This is far worse than a dead marine!" Aen said into TEAM COM. "Stand down!" He shouted to the oncomming marines. "That was my Jakal, you crackhead!" He said to the shooter. The other Jakal, Chur'R-Yar, approached Zhars dieing form. (Seriously, look up on your posts)
(What rank is Aen? I mean like military rank wise. Lieutenant, Sergeant, what? I'd gladly be Lieutenant. ^_^) (Lieutenant is a higher rank than Sergent, just so you know...)

[Yes, now you tell me to do that... rolleyes ]
Alsion grew angry. She lowered her rifle from the other Jackle. What the hell?
"It's a ******** Jackle, Lieutenant! How was I supposed that that thing was a friendly."
The OC of the platoon came up behind his men, his MA5C held low. He wasn't happy as well.
"If that b*****d's a friendly, then who else? No one mentioned anything about covies being allies here."

"He was friendly because he didn't shoot me! Now, get your medics to him. Now" Aen said. "I should have you arrested for friendly fire, marine."

"You were limping at a high speed, and rounded a corner, wounded. Behind you came a Jakal. It is safe to assume that you were running from the enemy. And don't you ever order me around like that, Lieutenant. I out rank you. Remember that. Sergant Baker, see to the fallen friendly."
The medic lowered his weapon, and moved forward from where he was crouching. Wearily, Sergant Derrk Baker tried to assess the dead Jakal. Baker knew Atridies well; he knew just how well of a shot the assualt sniper was. The captain now spared the time to look to the Brute approching their position from the left door.
"I don't supose these bastards are yours, are they?"
The other marines in EASY-2 knew that voice. Their company comander was seriously pissed. They all resisted the urge to chuckle. Captain Marcus Winters tended to take some personal offense at that. The platoon almost as one turned and trained their weapons on the Tangos.
Second platoon's RA spoke up.
"Captain Winters, sir! That was EASY-4! They're getting hit hard and are requesting adition renforcements. Orders?"
"Bloody hell. Have half of third platoon flank their position. Has D droped in yet?"
"No word from them yet, sir."
"Tell me as soon as they do."

(Isn't Lieutanant higher than Gunnery Sergant?) (Yes, yes it is. I have a link to prove it. (Even though its the modern marines...) and technically, Aen is a company officer. Link: Aen is a higher rank.) "No, we couldn't get a brute even if we shot its arms and legs off. Hunters are easier" Aen said. "I was running from the covanent following us, not him" He said, looking around the corner. "Come on, though watch out for friendly fire" He said to the 17 crewmen following him.

[It does, and you do...except Aen was smack talking a captain. Gunnery Sergant Alison Atridies is serving in E company. Which is under comand of Captain Marcus Winters. A Lieutanant commands a platoon, at most.]
Alison scowled at the Lieutanant, no likeing him one smidgen. I'm not going to shoot a ******** human, you rutting alien lover...
"Ah. Good, then. Tactical kills, marines. We've got a ship load of tango's to kill, and only a limited amount of ammo."
Two short, controlled bursts later, and the three brutes were lying in a pile of their own gore. The one medic traveling with second platoon moved forward to tend to the wounded seventeen marines, coming up.
"Liuetanant, is this...Jakal of yours the only aliens we can't kill? If it isn't someone's going to have to mark them, so someone won't shoot them dead again on sight."
Alison's voice was almost physicaly icy with her restraint. It wasn't often she was chewed out for a miscomm on anothers part.

(Oh...)
"Well, Liz has two Elites and a Hunter. Watch out for them" Aen said, before turning to face the remaining Jakal. Aen took out two UNSC bumper stickers from a pocket. He placed on on the Jakals shield, and one on the back pack type thing. "There, good enough?" Aen said.

Alison tapped the green eyepiece over one eye.
"I meant on our minimaps."
The marines had started to file out, in a TC, watching the corridors carefully.

Gun fire erupted on Liz's end of the COM system. "Sorry that you lost someone, but both of you, listen. The Hunter and Elites are with Terrance, a Shock Trooper, along with him is a Grunt and a captured Elite. Do not fire on any Elite or Hunter or Grunt unless you know for sure that they aren't on our side. Understand?" Liz asked, shooting the Spiker at a Grunt that came around a corner. "Shinta, We are very near your position, and if I'm right, right behind the Brutes. I'm going in. Shawn! You and Ash gaurd the Vette. You too Shelby." Liz ran around the corner and nearly into a Brute, luckily his back was turned. Liz raised the Spiker and shoved the blades into the back of its head.

Shinta listen to the violence, "Thanks Liz, if it's okay with you,......" he gave a long pause, "I'm going to pass out now. Okay ma'am?" he said slowly into the mike. He looked over the boxes and slowly lowered himself to the ground.

Liz's response only seemed to piss Atridies off more. We're ******** marines, not xenoscientist! Shoot first, ask later. Still, the Gunny feel in with the rest of her platoon as it moved off towards the bridge. First thing's first: take control of ship's controls first. Since they supposedly still held the engine room, that left the bridge. Second and thrid platoons were to go in a forward manner to clear the bridge.
First and fourth were to act as agressive assault units, making regular rounds of the ship, alternating which was currently on patrol, and which was holding position at the EZ. Dog company had a similar patteren going except, they had three on patrol, and one hold position at a seperate EZ.
Fifteen minuets along, and the squad on point called a halt: a unit of grunts were crossing into another hallways a head of them; they had yet to notice the twenty and one battle ready marines thirty meters back. Third squad sent a runner back towards the main column.
"Captain, grunts up ahead. Tangos or friendlies?"
Winters chewed on his lip for a moment, then keyed his GEN-COMM.
"We've got a convoy of maybe fifteen Grunts ahead of us. Let them pass or shoot to kill?"

(Heh, bumper stickers...)
"I'de say shoot. Liz has only one grunt under UNSC command. I have marked my two Jakals as friendlies. You just have a happy triggered sniper" Aen said. The 17 men, the remaining Jakal, and himself stayed back in the hanger, sitting behind boxes and barrles, hiding from the small group of oncomming covanent, that was following them.

Alison's response was tightliped.
"I'm a ******** assualt sniper. Sir. It's what I'm payed to do. Sir."
The marine from the seat across her on the pelican hissed across to the Gunny.
"Easy off, Atridies. Do your job, and let the b*****d simmer."
"Shove it, Nadab."
To accenturate her somewhat tart words, Alison brought the scope up to her eye, took quick aim, and snapped off three shots, dropping the grunts cleanly. All chaos broke out then, with Covanat scattering with screams, only to fall in a spill of queer coloured blood.
The platoon rose up from their crouch and picked their ways throught he cropses. Nadab flashed Alison the "V" for victory. To which the Gunny flicked her own message back. He only laughed, and resumed his postion on point.
