"No one." He thought for a moment. "But, no one moves, until I do though." He had said as he stood there in the middle of them all, then sundenly feeling weird standing he decided to sit down.

"I think that came out wrong..." He looked around some. "I meant, no one moved until I did, when we where at the castle." He had just shut up as he said the word castle.

Ahren glanced upward, her gaze settling on Aaron. She kept her face smooth, her eyes blank but intense. "And who do you think should be the captain?" she asked. "You, the one who ran into the castle looking for a 'shiny thing'? Or her, with 'multiple personalities'?" Ahren turned her unrelenting stare on each in turn. "Do not mistake my meaning. I don't approve of Varnis as leader either. Why should we have a leader at all? We are not a group. We are several individuals made to work together. A group has a leader. We do not need one. If Varnis is the one who makes sure we are in the right place for the proper time, then so be it. But he is not my leader or my better, and neither are any of you." She sighed, running her fingers down her staff, the pads silently inspecting the oak.

Lexenos got into the middle of the group. "Calm down everyone. No one said anything about having to be a leader. I'm sure Varnis was only saying the logical thing. Think about it. The best time to leave is when everybody's ready, so that no one is left behind."

Varnis had watched lex as he stood up, and talked. "That does sound good. But why don't we vote on when to go?" He said as he still sat down.

Ahren shrugged, uninterested. "It doesn't make a difference to me. Go now or later, we're going to the same place either way. We might as well get going." She glanced around the room. "Is everyone ready? I'd rather get this done with."

Suddenly, the doors of the Inn slammed open and a fairly short female in a brown dress and cloak walked in. She looked around the group until she spotted Lexenos and she said in a loud causal voice, "Hey Lex. How've you been? I see you've made new friends."

Lexenos was stunned. "Mel?" His face suddenly broke into a grin and he ran over to her and embraced her. "Everyone," he said as he let go and put his arm around her shoulder," this is my little sister, Mel."

Varnis had looked over to see Mel, and Lex standing over at the Inn's entrance. "Nice to meet you, Mel" Varnis said as he sat there looking over there.

Varnis had stood up, and walked over to Mel. "My name is Varnis." He said as he simply extended his hand out to greet Mel.
