Well, at least that one makes sense based on Latin roots. "Re", meaning again and "vive" meaning life. So it literally means "life again".The word undead actually meant alive a long time before it was applied to something that is dead with living qualities. Hell the word zombie came from somebody who was brainwashed and look what we did with that XD We are just unoriginal. I think the best word for something with qualities of both life and death would be either lifeish or deathish. XD Maybe Evil Dead/Army of Darkness had it right with Deadite?

Well now I just don't know what to think.
A person who has said she'll draw something for me, has flat-out told me the original art style my characters are drawn in is horrible and looks as if a 4-year old had done them.

To be honest, I have yet to even see what her art is like.

Unless the picture in her signature is it. Your art style is pretty unmistakable and you only get better as you keep using it. You keep finding new ways to make it more complex while keeping to the roots of the art style. They will be forgotten when your art gets big so sucks to them. I love stylized art.
