When're they obtainable?
After the Pokemon League, right?
I'm about to fight Claire, and my Alakazam alone can wipe out most of the Elite 4.
Koga is weak against Psychic,
Will is weak against Shadow Ball
Bruno is weak against Psychic,
I have Heracross for Karen
and
Lance can be taken out by Heracross/Alakazam
I hope they're both obtaniable. That would rock.

Guys.
This is a remake of G/S we're talkin' here. If both birds were obtainable in each version back then, then yes, they are very much obtainable in HG/SS.
I mean with the information provided, seeing as it was out in Japan a good amount of time before coming stateside, it's pretty much a given. No worries.
Also the same thing they implemented with Legendaries still applies, in that they will reappear anytime the E4 is bested.
Ah, I would understand if you had any reason for concern about, if you hadn't played the originals before.
