Marco watched in mild interest, but made no move to help.
Joe's attack breezed right past the man's face. The Acolyte...thing would have dodged it. This man did not appear to be him. Or...something.
Joe pulled back. "Get back in the cockpit and try to land us as best you can," he said coldly. On a whim, he brushed the man's mind.

Oh s**t. It was the same mind. The "pilot" grabbed his device - no, a different one, the original could be seen on the floor of the cockpit - and fired at Joe's head.

Paul finished the drilling. "Okay. I only have a little ammo for the handgun and the assault rifle. If things get messy, I'm going to be using single-fire like I always should've. We're going to try to disable whatever anti-magic devices they have and then we're leaving. We're going to keep this quiet until we can get Darius inside and then we just let him wreak havoc."
Darius' grin didn't have to been seen to be understood.
The hole having been drilled, Paul looked in; it wasn't big enough for a person, but it was big enough to put a head in. He'd drill a bigger hole once he was certain it was safe. He extended his head very, very cautiously.

Luckily, as Joe sensed it, he began to jump back, and as he saw the device coming around, he turned it into a <********> kind of rolling flip. The attack went just past his face as he arched back, then hit the floor and rolled.
Joe came up, arms out in Fire Arrow position. He let three of them rip straight for the man.
"Jacob!" he shouted back. "I need some backup!"
Marco nodded silently and withdrew his two Sharpies, one red and one black. He began to doodle on the backs of his hands as he waited.

Jacob nodded and focused on forming a small, baseball-sized fireball form in his both of his hands and threw them both, one after the other, at the man.
As it flew, Jacob reformed the wind around the man so it became a sort of funnel for the fireballs. The first hit the small end, igniting it, creating a flamethrower sort of effect.
The second fireball hit next and was propelled through, Jacob doing his best to manipulate the wind to push it through towards the man.
The fireball emerged from the other end, larger and faster than before.
Jacob followed it up by sending the miniature fire-funnel towards the man as well.
Hopefully this worked...

Joe nodded approvingly. "Good! You're coming along well, man."
He looked to the cockpit. "Hey Jacob! Think you can get up there and get the device that he was using the first time? I think you might be able to do more damage with that." As he spoke, Joe loosed four more Fire Arrows. He was definitely not going to take any chances with this guy.

Jacob nodded and left for the cockpit, not waiting to see what effect his attempts would have on the man. He got into the cockpit and rummaged around for the device.
He found it and quickly began to tinker with it, trying to figure out how to operate it.
Luckily, he was good with devices, hopefully his tinkering with this device wouldn't turn out any different.

The man dove to the side, burned but alive; Joe heard the odd fwoop sound of the stunner device firing twice as he ducked out of the aisle. Joe pursued, finding two apparently-unconscious passengers in their seats.
Jacob discovered the device mainly consisted of a trigger on the nozzle and inscrutable switches on some form of rotating revolver-barrel system on the mechanism the hose attached to the nozzle. There were a few inscrutable switches and such.

Joe pursued at top speed, slinging fireballs and flashing some flares.
((Hey, so, I was reading back at the beginning...shouldn't we bring in Oathkeeper and Divine Punisher?))

Oathkeeper/Excalibur (whether they're the same is unknown) was hidden when Sam was captured by Abaddon; like Josh, he abandoned his weapon so Abaddon couldn't trap it.))
Joe realized his target was not in sight.

Joe proceeded slowly and cautiously, probing with his magical senses as well as his mundane ones.

There was no indication of the man's presence in spite of Joe's search.
Paul saw a few steam-powered machines of indeterminate purpose, with a guard whose face was half-covered by a metal plate leaning against the base of one.

Hmmm... guard. Could they... drill closer to him? Could Paul come up with a tranquilizer?
"Marco, do you have some non-magical sort of tranquilizer? If we could start something from out here, kinetic energy would carry it in..." He paused. "It might not work on him, though..." He leaned back in, trying to determine how loud it was in there.
