I was really interested in seeing Domino until I saw The Box. I am now no longer willing to give Richard Kelly the benefit of the doubt.

Best sophomore seasons: Buffy, SoA, Burn Notice and How I Met Your Mother all come to mind.

Finished Season 3 of Buffy. Wow. That is all.

Awww, season 4 is fun in its own way. I like a lot of individual episodes in the 4th season, just not the overall big bad.

I was really interested in seeing Domino until I saw The Box. I am now no longer willing to give Richard Kelly the benefit of the doubt.

Domino is essentially just a straight forward Tony Scott action vehicle. The only thing that's even remotely like Kelly's schtick (which I generally hate) is the brief inexplicable cameo by Tom Waits.

Harley is talking about the overlaid hand crank photography that Scott fell in love with on Man on Fire and used to death on Domino. It's mostly Scott trying to recapture what he had on True Romance without a Tarantino script. SCHWING.

I rather just say Domino isn't a good film.

Today I went and saw Piranha 3D, and yes, it was such a bad film it was good.

But this is want was both awesome and freaky. I show up maybe 10 before the trailer and I was going to meet a Ben, my friend, and he was running late. So I walk in only to find, I am the only one in room.
Literally, no one. Which is kind of freaky to sit by yourself, even more so when they play the Paranormal Activities 2 trailer. It's at that point your imagination starts to run with crazy ideas on what could be behind you.
But once Ben got there that's when the fun starts.
It was almost like being two of the three guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I hear they are not only making a Tv series of Joe Hill's Lock & Key and John Laymen's Chew, but also of the Neil Gaiman's Sandman.

It's really not likely to happen, and I don't know why I think this, but I think it would be epic to see David Bowie play the role of Dream. rofl

Eric Kripke is the name being tossed about for the one in charge, so if he stays, I'll probably give the series a look-see.

edit: And here's a Sonic Screwdriver for your Wii.

edit2: And according to news coming out of PAX, Gearbox had a playable demo on the floor of Duke Nukem Forever. My world is shattered.

It a good feel to watch more good cartoons again. There where a few years where I didn't watch many cartoon, except those on Adult Swim and Comedy Central. Plus there where some show that I use to watch that I lost interest in, such as SpongeBob. But after watching shows like Generation Rex, Total Drama Island/Action/World Tour, and Adventure time, it just feels good. Plus there are new show that seem to fill the void of shows I miss now.
To fill the void of Old Spongebob cartoons there is this Regulare show

For Samurai Jack and Megas XLR, there this new show Sym-Bionic Titan I'm hoping this turns out good.
