Sardin shook his head. "No I was thinking of going for a walk before bed, You get your rest while you can. No telling how often we can get a room traveling to our next destination." Sardin said not risking upsetting Hitana from mentioning the towers. Then he got up finishing his drink washing the glass quickly placing it in the drying rack then headed out to go for a walk.

Olandrik shook his head also after Sardin left. "No I am fine I will be gone by the time you wake up though got other errands to do. Though I will stay here until Sardin comes back to make sure the place is secure." Olandrik said smiling to Lyra.

Olandrik smiled and shook his head. "Nah he's fine he wanders a lot it's his way of dealing with what really happens when he falls asleep. Tell me Lyra do you know about people who have visions? Glimpses of possible hings to come that had not happened just yet, but where something was yet not set in stone that could easily be changed?" Olandrik asked her softly wondering if she was familir with this possibility.

"Sardin does that too when he sleeps. Though his are usually outcomes of dark things. like someone he cares about getting hurt and possibly passing on. But it's not just those he cares about he sees, There are others he has not even met he sees getting hurt. He tossed and turned in his sleep waking up crying. The ones where he wakes up screaming frantic and panicked are the ones someone he cares about gets hurt. He calls them his night terrors, or nightmares. But if he sees a person he had not met yet who he dreamed about he walks up and tlls them something.

Like if there is a fork in the road and both roads will go to the same town and the person in his 'nightmare' takes one way he goes up to the person and says something like "If you are heading to this place" giving the nae of te town he seen on the sign post. "Don't take the left path. There have been increased activity of bandits. The right road to the town is safer." Then he goes on his way.

So likely he seen someone in town he knew as he travels a lot. Possibly a friend if you remember I just put him into sleep and he woke up screaming before we got here. He might be planning to visit this friend to warn him. You see Sardin is what is called as a chaos or shadow seer. His visions usually show warnings of pain, suffering, or death. His grandmother and I had been trying to work with him to control the frequency. You see his visions don't always mean the person is in danger. Just more a "Hey I feel like something bad might happen if you do this." thing. But unlike most Sardin always sees something every time he just goes to sleep.

From working with him to try controlling the frequentness of him having these possible visions he had taken note of how to tell around the time of year and place the vision he sees takes place. I found a medicine that actually stops it from happening and it's been dubbed Sardin's sleeping medicine. If he has a vision when he uses his sleeping medicine. Like one time while on his sleeping medicine he seen his grandfather on my side fall out of the sky hit by a rock and fell into the ocean and drowned."

Olandrik said this and he looked down. "Well it happened though my grandmother and I thought maybe he forgot his medicine cause how could a rock do that. It ended up happening my father nearly drowned as mother warned him. Well a volcano he was flying near erupted spewing flaming stones one hit him in the head and he almost drowned. Because of the warning father had asked one of his friends a water dragon to travel with him to be safe.

Later me and mother questioned and found out Sardin had actually taken his sleeping medicine and still had this vision. Mom shook her head and said "We found out how to tell the real visions that should be taken seriously apart from the regular nightmare." Olandrik said sighing softly. "Sardin wants to let himself find happiness and love but fears what might happen if he lets anyone too close. If he found someone who meant so much to him. He feared what his dreams and visions might show him. So he has forbidden himself from falling in love." Olandrik said sighing again.

"But enough of that little one you need your rest and I hope you can sleep alright." Olandrik said kissing Lyra on top of the head kinda like a fatherly kiss.

After a few hours Sardin returned and Olandrik poofed in thin air not saying where he was going or anything. Though Sardin locked the place up staggering to his bedroom falling on his bed and then fell asleep.

At the towers a male mage watched Sardin looking scornfully at him. And at the twins he was with. But then looked 5 places else where then deactivated and covered up the crystal ball acting like he had not touched it. reading the book he had with him noticing the guard he seen that was to deliver the crystal Sardin handed over.

The mage looked around huffing looking annoyed at the guard "The arch mage is in the library vault one floor below, How ever the arch mage is a he. The grand Magus is one floor above in the 'new' Arch mage's quarters." The Mage said scowling at the guard.

Olandrik appeared behind the male mage silently bonking him on the head knocking him out just because he could. then walked over as the male mage fell face first into the book he read. "Follow me I will take you to my mother who your supposed to deliver that to." Olandrik said grabbing an enchanted ring of keys and went to a door and locked then unlocked it opening it.

Where the hall the guard was likely previously in vanished showing another room. Olandrik waved the guard on through first then once the guard was through Olandrik entered closing the door. Which returned the hallway outside the door.

Olandrik shook his head sighing a little "An Arch mage knows when anyone new enters the tower he is in charge of you know. Besides I knew your father so I know you would had been here after just a few hours." Olandrik said ready to bop the guard lightly for being silly.

But got bopped in the head be a dragon tail and a growl from the Grand Magus. Olandrik rubbed his head- "Ow mom that hurt." He said grumping and pouting.

Olandrik grumbled a bit and kept rubbing his head still pouting and sat at his desk reading a book. The dragoness glanced to the crystal and noded it began to levitate in front of her and then a small pouch with coins in it landed softly in the guards hands. "Ah yes I shall look at this right away. Thank you and accept this for your burden of questing this to me."

She said in a near regal like tone and tuned into a human form a robe around looking swirled of blue and red with white between the white looked like clouds and it almost appeared they moved rolling over the other colors. Sitting at a grand looking table there was a odd crystal ball with what looked like a shard missing. She lowered it in gently and reflected the moonlight with a small set of mirrors into the crystal ball and steam appeared as if by command from the grand magus.

Which displayed the stuff from the recording which also gave a bit of sound most couldn't hear but it was the conversation as well as crackling of energy sounds. She observed it writing what she noticed 3 colorations flowed around Hitana as visible energy. One of the ruby crystals powers was to make energy visible on recordings or images.

The Grand Magus spoke softly. "Not sure but if I had to guess there is some energy that has not been in this world for several Eons showing up so I can't be certain. Then there is elemental as well as shadow energies. I will have to look up this third type of energy to be sure. Though it is similar to elven but its also different." She said not looking away as she kept writing.
