Nyx managed to kill another pokemon and continued to keep moving. The end of the forest was close and he went behind the kid and pushed. This time it would be a small greenish yellow pokemon that appeared ...as it rolled into his path. Trying to trip him and bring his movements to a stop ....as it would slide to a stop on the ground and a big smile would appear on it's face as the Sunkern was literally getting in the way.

Nyx slid to a halt for a second. He backed up, wiggling his hindquarters slightly. Glancing at the small grass pokemon, he wondered what to do...hm... With a dart forward, he was a black shadow that aimed to leap over his opponent and just keep going! Though while Nix would avoid that attack...Jade would be caught off guard as the move hit hard enough to put him on his nose in the grass as the Sunkern was laughing at what he had done.
Though his smile died the moment that he took in the sight of the Umbreon. This would be a hard fight, and he had a feeling he wasn't going to win. Thus,the Sunkern did what Jade would have done earlier ...he turned and tried to run away.

Jade fell flat on his face and basically did a face plant. Rubbing his nose, he rubbed dirt and grime from it. Ugh, he needed to go to his land and wash off. A good shower would make him a different kid... Sighing, he sat down, waiting for the battle to be over.The Umbreon looked pissed as he pawed at the ground with his claws. It was leaving deep furrows as he lowered his head. This time he was going to slam into that Sunkern and make it pay for any bruise or lost pride it had inflicted on the human. The pokemon was good to start running, he was eager to get this over with! (20 - 16 + 12 - 6 = 10dmg)
It was a single hit, and it hit hard enough that it was anything for the Sunkern to do but hit the ground on it's back. Laying there in pain ....as it faint feeling of that touch radiated pain down his back. Pain that he started to try and absorb as the connection with one would connect to the other.
Like a thread being wrapped around one's finger ...he would start to pull slowly from the Sunkern. Tugging at the one that gave pain, and trying to pull away a little of the pokemon's life energy as he used Absorb.

Nyx looked smug as the pokemon laid flat on it's back. Rushing off, he began to weave big circles. The dark pokemon wasn't afraid of anything as he continued to move. It wouldn't be able to move that fast so he wasn't afraid. He just needed to keep moving to avoid getting hit. For a moment, Vanni had been convinced that the little sandstorm approaching the pair was a mirage; a hallucination brought on by the heat and isolation. But she was enduring the heat well enough and she'd survived greater isolation. Whatever it was, it couldn't be good. As it grew closer and closer, she halted, causing her winged companion to yelp with annoyance. She watched as the Sandrew rolled up and drew a literal line in the sand. Of course.
For a moment, she entertained the idea of just walking around the line. But while she might not have been the most aware person in the world, she wasn't totally obtuse. Vanni sighed. "Fine, if that's what you wish." She flicked her fingers, motioning to the Archen. "Urvogel, if you please?"
/Yes./ Urvogel was more than happy to be in another fight- especially if the Green Lady decided not to interrupt this one. He dug his claws into the human's shoulder (ignoring her flinch), and launched himself at the Sandshrew. Fastest wings in the Pertified Forest, and he'd Quick Attack this obstacle!

The move would hit, but it didn't have the strength behind it ...as it simply snaps free. The Absorb had failed to pull anything from him ...as he starts to roll away. His aim was to try and get enough distances to avoid any attack ....as he moves to hide in the foliage itself.

Nyx actually lost track of the pokemon. It did blend in with the leaves and other foliage. Growling, he then charged. The Attack would hit against only leaves and a few twigs ....as the pokemon would roll out from behind him. The power of the Absorb would pull at the pokemon's back as he would try it again ...he needed to gain more strength ....and suddenly he would freeze the attack completely as he felt something inside of him start to grow. A thump of his heart as he would use Growth instead, he would get no where fast, unless he could mkae this Absorb strong enough to break through this pokemon's defense.

It was close, but it would as the Sunkern would lose focus. As the power would start to go away and slowly yet slowly it would dissolve itself into nothing. He couldn't make his power .....grow, but he wasn't done ...not yet ...as he would stand up straight and glare into the pokemon's eyes.
He was daring the charge even as the energy around him seemed to curl and twist. He was going to wait only a few moments, and then ...then he would show him the power of the sun as he stood there seemingly defensively.

The Sunkern was either really brave or really stupid. Judging by how low it's hp was, the Umbreon was leaning towards foolish and reckless. Crouching slightly, he then pushed off the ground hard with all four paws. Lowering his head, he aimed to slam into that Sunkern with Tackle and finish him off! Though maybe, the pokemon should have concentrated more on trying to defend himself as the attack hit and the Sunkern was sent skipping away literally as it bounces off the bases of a few trees and vanished int he distances. This battle was over.
