Well if thats the case any training that any of us have done up til this point is a lie.
For instance, your athletics training right now.
That doesn't make sense in a d20 based rp. DC stays the same for everyone.
What is somebody with 30 Dex supposed to do for dex training?

My Athletics traing is in the Academy, which is meant to be easier, to better ease people into the system.
It makes perfect sense considering that you're adding that same mod to each of your rolls. It actually keeps the training of equal difficulty, no matter how good you are.
Consider this how can you get better if you aren't pushing yourself?
If someone have a 30 Dex, then thier DC would be 40, at least. Now if someone else had 4 thier DC would be 14.
That way if say they both roll a 10, it'd mean they'd both pass, or if they roll a 1, they'd both fail.

The minimum is 10, any lower and you only get exp, and unless you just need a little more to level up, it's better to get the ability and the full amount of exp.

You're misunderstanding Sage. He's saying that 10 is still the minimum raw dice score for any training to count, but that technically your DC is 10+Skill/Stat. Thus making the raw dice score still 10 because you add the skill/stat to that raw score anyhow. Really just saying DC 10 and not worrying about what skill/stat modifies it and not adding numbers makes life a hell of a lot easier in training posts.

Gaia's algorithm for random number generating isn't exactly purely probability, therefore it's more realistic to do it out of 1d20 than a 50/50 chance.

Curiously enough the girlfriend doesn't mind. And she thinks the animation is funny.
