I had to sit through the Glee panel to see the Always Sunny and Sons of Anarchy one. The cast was very nice, and the show is colorful and fun with positive feel good messages; but I don't think I can do that show. If it is added to Netflix instant stream then maybe I'll finish the first season, but it is just too after school special for me personally. I do hope the second season delivers to all the fans like the first one did though! Sophomore seasons are the hardest.

ON THAT NOTE:

Worst sophomore season ever? I vote for Heroes' second season, because while Twin Peeks was indeed shitty it had redeeming qualities that Heroes in no way had.

Definitely, definitely Heroes. Season 1 had some iffy moments, but it also had ******** Company Man and a lot of other gems. Season 2 made me wonder why I ever watched.

Heroes season 2 was so much fail that I couldn't even TRY to give it a chance afterward.

Dude, same here. All the seasons are on Netflix and I literally have no desire whatsoever to watch them.

I tried to watch the season premiere of 3 with the hope that it might recapture some of the first season's glory. It was awful, and I fell asleep halfway through.

The further Heroes got from S2, the better it was, but no season came close in "good" to S1.

What shows had really good second seasons?

Buffy, X-Files, and Venture Brothers come to mind for me. xd

New Avengers trailer is out.

I thought Prison Break and Las Vegas's second season was pretty good.

I actually really, really liked Scott Pilgrim. Think I might have to pick up the graphic novels now.

Fringe; which eclipsed the first season, United States of Tara, Sons of Anarchy, The Wire, The Shield.

Saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World, man, I had my doubts about the film when I first heard about it, but this film blew me away.
My sister and her boy friend saw it with me, and they didn't know much about it or read the comic books, and even they said they enjoyed it a lot.

Although I was shocked to find out Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzman, and Edger Wright where in Austin for a mid night showing at one of the Alamo Draft Houses. Though I bet even if I knew, I couldn't get a ticket.

Quoting myself because I just started re-watching Prison Break (up to S3), and it's still pretty good. S3 is where it falters a bit (I can blame the writer's strike, right?), but the first two seasons are pretty solid.

I saw Domino last night.. well closer to this morning depending if you want to count the times. It was actually an enjoyable film. The set up in some of the scenes was beautiful. Not as well placed in the dark parts as another movie I've watch but the action and struggle going through the minds of the characters (or at least what they were giving off) was sound and made sense.

It wasn't an easy movie to pin down, though it might have something to do with the fact my volume wouldn't go past a certain level while I was watching it. Small little hints that are placed right in front of you verbally instead of visually are fun to decipher but I had a wondrous time figuring out the different parts of the movie I could. It was actually a pleasure that I didn't figure it out sooner than a few seconds before the violence happened. The movie that are overly predictable bore me to no end and i usually want to walk away from them sooner than I should.

The only real problem that I had with the film was the way it was tapped. It was pointed out to me and as I watched the film in some parts it was really hard to keep my eyes on the movie. It kind of reminded me of how the Charlie Chaplin movies were put together a long time ago. It's been almost 7 years since the last time I've seen it but it's something that is hard to forget. All in all it was highly enjoyable. :3

In the next few days I might watch the movie again, this time with the volume control higher.
