Yokou was wandering alone through the village, walking very quickly. She didn't take any notice of the villagers' ardent spirits nor of Iwa looking more festive than usual... All she knew was that she was going somewhere, but she didn't know where... Sensei. He really pissed her off. Selfish, ego-centric jerk... So he didn't really care for his team after all. Would give them up in a moment's notice...just like how he abandoned them ten years ago.

Both Shikamori and her thought it was because he was set on hunting Museifu down...but no...that wasn't the case. He didn't want to stay in Konoha. The realization was clear long ago but it still hurts... Why, what was the reasons for the rejection?

She wasn't supposed to cry... Hyuuga women weren't allowed the luxury, less alone the head of family...but the silent tears that spilled over her porcelain features betrayed her calm expression. Some lecherous old man was tugging at her hand, mumuring disgusting words of comfort...

Gritting her teeth, Yokou pushed him aside.

She only know to do one thing...

Shin suddenly realized this girl was very, very close... So close in fact that he could smell the faint scent of white lilacs... "I-is...something wrong?" He finally managed to ask, cursing himself for unable to keep his tone steady. This was his first time properly meeting a Hyuuga. Despite his clan being hailed as the Hyuuga of the north...Shin acknowledged how little was actually known of that particular Konoha clan. Highly...protective of their clan secrets... Shin realized. I do not recall ever hearing the Hyuuga clan reside in significant numbers outside of Konoha...

Elruda looked thoughtful. "I thought you had water-based chakra...but yours was...weird..." Shin looked almost startled. See chakra? How is that possible...chakra is an invisible energy... Also, something about her eyes bother him. It was like...she wasn't looking at him but through him, at something distant in the future. "Doshi. You never seen Hyouton creation kekkai genkai before?"

Elruda shook her head no. "What's Hi-yo-ton? We have Mokouton creation users in Konoha." Shin looked at the girl oddly as she rather butchered his kekkai genkai categorization's name. "Hyouton creation is a duo usage of wind and water styles in order to create ice-based techniques." "Ooh. Ice-based, that makes sense...but...that's weird...you said wind and water styles...yet..." Elruda chewed at her lower lip thoughtfully.

"I don't know what you can see...but I don't have water affinity. Lend me your hand." Elruda did so. Shin looked calm doing the palm reading. Besides his ice chakra reacting...meaning... "You have water affinity hn..." He let go of her hand. Elruda said nothing at first. "Your chakra is weird...I..." She couldn't quite properly nail a term. "...don't like it. It...scared me..."

"What do you think it is?" Shinratsu asked quietly. "Konoha's Mokouton creation users do apply their kekkai genkai...but...it's from a duo usage of two styles...of earth and water... Yours just isn't...normal... It looked like...the chakra...was ready to...to kill you at any time... That's not supposed to be...kekkai genkai aren't supposed to..."

"You're the weird one." Shin replied softly. "Not all kekkai genkai are health friendly. So you can see chakra...and what you saw was indeed ice chakra." Elruda shook her head. "Wood chakra doesn't exist. You're lying...it can't...because that means..." "Yes. It means long ago, my limit created ice chakra..."

Elruda's eyes widened with surprise. "Chakra cover the whole body. yours didn't." A smile, it was remorseful but looked so distant and cold... "That's right...at the side with the heart, right? Not all has the luxury of naturally dispersed chakra. These gauntlets...the one on my left was crafted for keeping me alive. It...regulates chakra."

"T-that!" Chakra suppressing gauntlets...Zephyr wore them too. "But...chakra levels grow higher as one develops larger reserves..." Shin nodded. "Then that means, when that happens...you'll die." "Hm...maybe." A small smile at the smaller girl. "I'll just have to perfect my chakra control before that happens." With that said, Shinratsu began to walk away.

"What is your name?"

"Shinratsu. Fubuki Shinratsu...and yours?"

"Hyuuga Elruda." She turned to the boy. "Submit to the Hyuuga clan and you will be shown the finer points of chakra control. I never heard of ice users in Iwa...you're not from here either, right?"

"I can't." The boy turned his head, a small smile lighting pale features. "You're right, I'm not Iwa born. But I have important people here now..." A soft pause. "Tonight's the festival...but you can't find your mother, correct? I don't know much about robbers in Iwa...haven't run into one yet...but why don't you stay with us for the time being?"

Elruda grinned, tugging on Sakeme's hand. "Sa-chan too, right?" A returned grin. "Giglamesh-sensei, is it alright?"

Giglamesh would notice that same glare, as he describes it, that periced the very heart and body. It was the technique used by the hyuga's, but this wassent no wear as near as intense as Hyuga-dono's, perhaps another hyuga from konoha. She would suddenly jerk shin's hair alsmot makeing him fall and giglamehs would turn to see another pipsqueak. As they began talking he would raise a question to himself as she said hair and eyes like mine he was faily certian. "Hyuga-dono?" Then shin and the girl mentioned the sword he knew who it was he had alreayd had the pleasure of meeting her, and his assumption was right it had to be the hyuga head.

Giglamesh continued to let them discuss thing such as his limit, and he listend but seemd to pay no attention he was rembering everthing that was said about shin. His attention would be what was on the stage (roys mission, gutiar hero!) They were far back so it was hard to see the stage. Mai would fianly wake up and begin looking around, giglamesh would turn her around so she could see the stage and secdon she looked up there. "Dany ish Baka!" Giglamesh's eye would get extremly wide as she said that. "...no no baby......taka....takamichi...not baka." He may of called him that before and she heard of perhaps she simply said it wrong either was he was trying to cover it up, but gig didnt care as mai seemed to be enjoying it. Giglamesh could see it no is was roy playing gutiar hero......gig wanted the game but kei wouldnt allow him to get it so he got kind of frustrated. (little swirly anime thing off to side of head, or depenign of preferance the little moving scribble)

"Katagi-kun thats right........little presumptuous of you.......but i dont see why not." Cause the more he had the more he could force to help him complete the list kei gave him and while he was worried about her, for the moment it was out of his head surprisingly. Giglamesh would look down to shin with his new freind and with a quite happy look on his face he would smile with his eye closed. "Sure." giglamesh had added another two, as the hyuga seemed to drag a freind with her in to there litt........large group that consisted of hamburger, sourcream, lettuce, pepper (elruda), salsa (sakame), jalapeño (katagi). To himself gig would look to mai smileing. "If the burrito gets any bigger nobody will bea bale to eat it!"

Giglamesh had a very large smile on his face, and he woul look back over to raisuke. "you offly quite hamburger.........your not thinking....dirty thoughts are you hmmm!?" He was obvisouyl playing with the boy and he still held hands with shizuka, which he had basicly shoved the two to the crown off the stage from where roy was playing. "Looks like a show is about to begin....."

Sakeme listened to the two young shinobi talk... It was interesting to hear about a Hyoton user... She'd never met one before... This may proove to be useful information later... It startled her when all of a sudden the kid was dragging her into this... "Kid... don't force me on the poor guy, please..." The boy's sensei sounded as if he was talking gibberish... Course it could be because she really wasn't interested in what he was saying, she just stood behind Elruda waiting... Then Elruda saw Roy... 'Mhmmm... the scorpion meat was pretty good too..."

Elruda nodded fervently, apparently having no idea scorpions were an Iwa national treasure... "Uh-huh. Dun worry Sa-chan, mistuh (aka Gig) said yes." The small child then looked at Gig very funny, with floating question marks all over her head. "Mistuh, what's pepper (reference: Elruda was a...cooking disaster)?" And then a wide, foxy grin...seeming to stretch from ear to ear...crossed her face. Giglamesh probably would not have guessed her a pureblood, let alone the Hyuuga princess, even if the world was to end at this moment. "I'm puhreeeblud. Mummy's puhreeblud too. So is Poppy." She tried to sound out the term the clan elders used, but failed miserably. "Mistuh should meet mummy sometime... Mummy is very pretty! Mummy can de goruzu be-...!!"

Before the girl said anything drastic, Shin's hand very quickly clamped over her mouth. If his intuition was correct, she might accidentally remind Gig of an earlier...unfortunate event today.

Sakeme smirked. "Looks like you aquired a nickname too... I'm monkey according to that moron of a Kage, and you're now Pepper...Nice..." This was quite the interesting turn of events... Sighing then, she found a nice patch of dirt and sat down... Nothing better to do now...

However, the Hyuuga princess didn't seem to mind. Elruda tilted her head curiously at Giglamesh. "Is pepper red?" She would rather curiously inquire. "I like red, de goruzu. Red is like *Akeru." Sakeme might remember Elruda's erratic behavior back in the canyon, when she tried to bring a scorpion home as a pet...claiming it was her Uchiha friend Akeru. Shin would sweatdrop at her inquiry. "Actually...it depends." Pepper could be red or green but grounded pepper was black.
