Mingan smiled not unkindly at the young lady. Now that she was properly standing still Mingan was able to get a good look at her. She appeared to be of oriental decent, most likely Japanese, and another he couldnt tell. She wore a pink, rather short Kimono and at the moment was eyeballing Mingan. Summoning wind around his feet Mingan's own image blurs and in an instant appears a few feet away from the young lady. With a small bow from his waist in which his right arm went to his waist as well )like a butler) he spoke. "I do apologize for staring, I did not mean to upset you. Its just I have never met anyone who could almost dance upon the wind with such grace as you have. My name is Mingan, I am a meister who has just transferred into the school."Finishing his speech, Mingan straightened back up and smiled again. This girl was very interesting, her movements almost reminded him of his younger brother. But Mingan really did hope that he had not offended the young lady by staring to much. For some reason as Mingan spoke and looked at her, he felt his face growing hot. He was becoming concerned.

Mingan was taken by surprise at her announcement of his past. How did she know? Then he thought about it a bit. He did mention it earlier, it was all together possible that she may have heard his story in passing. Mingan found himself blushing, he was unsure why. He didn't really have much experience with the opposite sex. But he liked her voice, it was...happy, like she could sing on even the cloudiest days."I..uh, no miss, I am afraid I do not have a partner. To be honest all of this is new to me. I have no idea how to even go about getting one."Mingan laughed awkwardly feeling more out of place due to his lack of knowledge.

Mingan was very flustered, he was quite used to women running from him, and this was new to him. His face was almost on fire when she started stroking his hair. He was starting to think he was coming down with something. He was then further surprised when she said she wanted to be his partner. Now that she was closer he was also noticing how very pretty she was."I..don't know what to say. Uhm, well lets do our best then Miss...Oh, my I appear to have neglected to ask for your name. My apologies my lady....It must have to do with this bug I came down with all of a sudden. For some reason I am feeling rather warm and flustered, and words aren't coming out of my mouth too well. You might not want to be too close to me if I am getting sick."Mingan was both happy and concerned at this point. He finally found a partner, but he didn't want her to get wheat he had. As he spoke to her he found it very difficult to speak clearly, and he had to put forth effort not to jumble his words.

He...liked someone, and they liked him back? He only heard about it from books but, it was not a bad feeling. In any case the young lady introduced herself as Mei and Mingan had a feeling she could balance his emotions. Giving a another smile Mingan does a formal nod of his head. He liked the word partner, it was a trustful word. He also liked the way she spoke to him, it was nice...well anything that was not yelling at him was nice. But he didnt think he was that good looking to be honest."Well then lady...I mean, Mei. I am not so sure about the handsome part, but I do look forward to our partnership. What do we do now that we have formed a partnership? Is their a ceremony or paper signing?" Although still a bit flustered Mingan was now curious. What does one do after forming a partnership? He looked off to the side of Mei, not wanting her to think he was being creepy by staring at her too much. To be honest he was still a bit nervous being around a lady.

__________________________________________________________ Since she was nervous about confessing Nicole wasn't exactly thinking as she usually did and so listened to Kikyo's advice about writing a letter. "Ja, I should do zat. But zere is a little problem... I can only write in German." She rubbed the sides of her head in frustration. "Ahh... I can't write and read in several forms of code but I can't write Japanese." She decided to sit down before she collapsed from stress. "Zen zere is ze financial problems. Mein fazer is only giving me enough to cover my rent, so I vill need to get a job..."
