Edge scoffed once more at her response to both his insult and Jonathan. He stood up, turning off the T.V. "I'm the problem? You're the one who can't listen to experience and wisdom about things you have NO ******** clue about. Trust me, you mess with Fire, you'll GET burned. And Jonathan Scythe? He's a blaze of his own glory, invented through the pain and suffering of people like ME." Edge growled at her before leaving the lockerroom, and slammign the door behind him.

"Things that no longer exist? You know just as well as I do that this man, and everything I said he can do, are VERY real. You've had his blood on you. Now imagine those teeth sinking into the neck of the person you love more then anything in the entire world, and sucking her life essence out fro mher as she moans for him." Edge said in a harsh snarl to her, but quietly so only she could hear. He pulled her close by the arm. "Try and forget the sounds of the love of your life cheating on you from within a very thin peice of plywood. Imagine your arms, snapping for that one person only to return and find her gone. Maybe, when you can understand what I've been through, and get you ******** facts straight, you'll understand, maybe a little bit, how I THINK under these golden locks, going day by day, realizing the person who nearly killed you, emotionally and pysically is back, for your friends." Edge paused and stepped away from her. "You act like you know everything about the buisness and who I am, but you don;t know anything about my past, no matter what you think."

"You made the mistake of getting romatically involved with a collegue Edge. b***h and moan all you want about how your fiance was a cheating whore and how no one will ever understand what it was you had to go through, but tell it to a shrink and get some help. You're only upset with me because I'm making you face your own goddamn issues that everyone else has let you supress and burry inside so it eats away at you. Consider what I'm doing the first real act of compassion you've had since your world turned to s**t. I dont have to care about your problems Edge but the fact is we work together, we're on a team together, and I will not stand by and watch your undealt with fear ruin us all."

"I wouldnt be doing anyone any favours if I sugar coated this anymore than everyone else already has." Tamera shot back, all of ehr anger in her eyes and not in her tone or volume. "I'm sorry if for the first time in your life you've met someone who doesnt sit back and watch. I will continue to be proactivein what goes on around here regardless if I end up with the entire locker room hating me...including you. Anger is a powerful emotion and if pissing a couple people off gets results then so be it..." An idea suddenly sprung into Tamera's mind and she cocked her head lsightly. "Why dont you want me to care Edge? What are you so afraid of happening if I give a damn about your well being?"

"People let themselves be targets by not standing up for themselves. You cant protect everyone else Edge and take care of yourself at the same time. You're right, I dont know what you've been through in all the details that I might like too, but I dont have to." Tamera sighed, letting all that fired up emotion drain out of her . They had hit the truth, the real meanign behind all of this noisy fighting. "You can stop yourself from caring about me but you cant control if I care about you or not."

"Edge, you have to realize something about Stacy. No matter how much you loved her or she loved you, the choices she made is the reason why what happened did happen. Stop blaming yourself for her mistakes. Let the past die and move on...it's the only way you're going to defeat Jonathan. You make yourself his target by taking responsibilty for what happens to eveyrone around you." Now Tamera was actually trying to be that compassionate person she had claimed to be earlier. Sometimes the truth hurt though, no matter how it's said.

Tamera stepped up beside Edge and looked Jonathan in the face. The man was very tall and Tamera could see how some might find that intimidating. Jonathan was also sending off a high creep vibe. Again Tamera could understand the fear factor in that. "I'm not impressed Jonathan. You spit blood, knock heads together, and apparently have a thing for biting. Where I come from you're just the average fetish freak with a bad track record. You rely on fear tactics and intimidation. I'm afraid I'm to much of a self righteous b***h to be affected by your little mind games. So sorry, move along."
