Joker looked up and walked over to Kalore quietly. "I think your a genius. I hope your okay. Hmmmm. This is like from a movie. From the old black and white classic Frankenstein. The funny one though and the guy had a revolving bookcase. I think you just found it." He clapped silently and went closer to it. He twitched and looked around him. "
Either it's a real secret passageway or a trap....My spidy senses tell me to go ahead and check out. What do you think Kalore?"

That made Kalore think for a moment. "I really don't know...I'll go with you on checking it out, but one of us needs to be ready to sprint out of there the moment things get bad and get to Rave...Do you remember the way?" Kalore didn't mind being the one left to fight, seeing as he could fight well. How he got his arrows with him and still stayed silent was a mystery though.

Joker shrugged. "I know the way but I also don't mind being the one staying behind. I may not look it but I can hold my own and I'm alittle elf somewhere." He looked around him. "You just can't see it in my ears." He joked and looked closer at the passage. "I say, whoever is closest to this outing goes to get Rave. Deal?"

Nodding, Kalore sighed, "Deal. Now...a twenty foot jump...Make it silent." Checking the area to make sure there was nothing that could jump out, be seen, or show the two to enemies. As he jumped down, the man sighed, checking the area. Nothing was around, all that was there was just a stone corridor. It would be hard to stay silent, but Kalore could make do.

Joker nodded and readied himself for the jump. He swinged his arms back and forth, counting to three in his head. He jumped as silent as a cat and looked around him. He shot a glance over his back to make sure no one was watching. Wipping a drop of sweat from his forehead he let himself adjust to his surroundings.

As the two walked silently down the corridor, the thing branched off, one continuing to be lit with torches, but the other one in complete darkness. Glancing at Joker he gestured to them, but then his head cocked to the side. The hall without lights had a sound coming from them, but even Kalore could barely hear them. Looking confused, he still let Joker chose.

Joker looked at both. Had this been in a disney movie, the lit side would be safe whereas the dark side was the dangerous one. But this wasn't one and either way the dark side was dangerous. So, he chose to be the idiot and motioned for the dark side. He pointed to him and Kalore and pointed to the spot that they were standing to meet back there if they don't find anything. If. Other than that, he turned to face the dark side and was anticipating. He was ready. For whatever they hit him, he could take it and deal it back worse.

Sighing, Kalore nodded. The two continued to walk slowly, but as they entered, the darkness continued to grow, but it wasn't far in until there was something that was seen. It looked like a flickering light, but when Kalore looked back, all he could see was darkness. Sighing again, he stopped, listening. There was a sound, but it was faint. It was something gasping and rasping for breath. It seemed like it was in pain.

Joker turned his head to the side to here for any noise. He thought he heard something but it was a one in a hundred chance that it couldn't have been the mere whispers of their steps. A chill went down his spine. What if they did find someone? What if they found Ziggy? He hoped they did but the chill was at the thought of finding Ziggy in bad shape.

He continued to walk down the hall, listening for the sound. As Kalore went down farther, he found the source of the sound. "F*ck..." He didn't move from the shadows, but it was horrible what was in front of him. Seeing this almsot made him sick.
Ziggy was there, but he was chained to the wall, blindfolded. That was bad enough, but his clothes were shredded, burnt, only a few scraps on his waist and arms to show that there ever was some. There was a drip of something, the smell and burn on the man's skin showing acid, that went on his skin every few seconds. When it did, he would jump, making a sound of pain, but within seconds, his skin was back to normal. The moment it was back to normal, another drip would just burn through him. Looking around the room, there were multiple instruments that were stained with blood.

Joker felt that chill again down his spine. He held back a few curses that he wanted to mutter and shook his head at the sight. He's seen some pretty crazy stuff but this was just....up there with them, if not higher on the scale of craziness. "We have to get him out of that." He whispered softly. How he could maintain calmness was anybodies guess.

Nodding curtly, Kalore took one step back, "We need to find Kyin..." He didn't want to leave, but Kyin had given them orders. He took a couple steps but then sighed. There was no way that Kalore could leave him. "You go. I'll stay and make sure that..." That everything was okay? That wouldn't be it. "Um... I'll stay. Get to Kyin."

Joker raised a brow. He wanted to protest and tell Kalore to go instead of him but there was a chance that he was going to end up arguing with the wrong person. He nodded and walked back slowly and then moved at a brisk pace, retracing their steps. With a few almost run in's with the guards, he managed to get out and began a quick jog, hidden by the shadows back to the twisting tower that was home to Kyin. He made it there by timing himself in a record he will never break and bagged on her door, catching his breath. He twitched, alittle nervous at leaving Kalore behind.

The door was opened quickly by Rave, who greeted him with a question, "Where's Kalore?!" Kyin was behind him, handing Rave his phone. "Call Miss Gambler." Taking the phone, Rave called her immediately. "What did you find, Sir Joker?"
Waiting there was the hardest thing that Kalore had ever done. Something in him was just making the man want to go in there and save his friend. But he didn't know what to do. Kalore kept an ear out, but jumped slightly at the sound of him screaming. "What the..." There was a soon a couple knives in Ziggy. "s**t..." Where they came from was a mystery, but he looked around the corner and saw a few slots in the wall.

Joker straighted up and breathed out quickly, retelling everything from entering the room to Kalore finding the secret passageway from the bookcase to going down the dark corridor to where Ziggy was and he told him about the bad shape he was in. They didn't have much time because he was itching to go back and get Kalore and Ziggy out of there. That place was really creepy.
Gambler paced and answered her phone on the second ring. "Yes." She saved the number and knew who it was, not bothering with a greeting or something smart to say. She wasn't in that mood anymore.
