Giving him his options, knowing how he'd be if he kept everything in his head and she didn't want him like that...especially knowing how close something was and the likely reason he had left in the first place. Closing her eyes some as he finger combed her hair. "Very well." She always did when she was curled up to him.
"I'm talking about the atoll more than the ships, but yes I do allow a little more sleep. I want a well rested crew so I can get the hell out of here at the first good wind." Handing off the map and finishing her muffin, licking her fingers clean of the glaze it had had on it. "Oh God, you two are doing stupid first mate things again. Fair enough...make sure your boots are clean and get up here." Turning to her crew. "Someone find me my first mate!"

"Yes, indeed we are."
And if gem had any idea, she'd probably have him hanging by the yard arm already. But he did as he was told, and went up the gangplank.
"Although, we did have a slight problem that is apparently your doing."
A small smirk.
"A little gold dragon tried to claim a spot on the ship, saying that you said he could if he wanted to. though I think Des chased him off, insisting she was going to take him back to a woman named Brishana, if reports are right. we're you looking for a cabin boy or something and just forgot to tell him that it only applies to your ship?"

"My doing?" Cocking her head and listening before giving a laugh to it all. "Well, I do need a new cabin boy, but frankly I just find him adorable. And he knows what ship is mine, I pointed out the flag to him. It was all in good fun I assure you, the little pervert does amuse me so in his knowledge that he thinks isn't wrong. Mayhaps there's someone on your side that he likes more." Setting her hands to her hips and grinning at him. "How soon is Hunter ready to leave, by the way?"

"Soon enough. he's going over everything I'm sure. probably before the week is out. maybe a day or so more. and how about you, how soon will you be fully fitted and crewed and ready to go?"

"By day's end. And if I have to leave behind Hunter then so be it. Frankly, I'm sure you've guessed that my willingness to cooperate longer with this...thing...of his is growing thin and short. The payout is signifigantly lax than it should be and I lost my ship because. Now I dare face demons that should only belong in story books. Get my drift, Richards?"

"I got your drift. daresay I'm inclined to agree on portions. However, could I bribe you to keep to things for the time being? that..unfortunate ship, did have a bit of cargo brought back that I liberated for such a purpose. which I bet was part of the reason Hunter chose it. they didn't know what they had."

"They had a puzzle box. and elven puzzle box. they apparently assumed it to be some piece of junk, and Hunter took it. I found it, and opened it up. and this, I think, will bribe you quite nicely."
digging in a pocket, and coming up with a clear dimaond about as wide as his palm.
"that'd be a good bribe for you?"

"You have a puzzle box, and it had a large diamond in it?" Giving a skeptical look to the thing, she snatched it from him and examined it for herself, holding it up to the light before pulling out a jeweler's loop and giving the large gem a look over. Hm, if it was elven protected then that did mean that there should be little to no imprefections. "I'd say this will buy you a day at least. Oh Mister Richards, you do at least put effort into your bribing of me."

Mister Robins had in fact returned to the ship the night before with said tiny pervert. He'd found the boy trudging along the streets quite upset and had managed to calm him down then bring him back to Gem's ship with him. Gem wanted him there and that was good enough for him. Now, he was watching him eat a plate of muffins. "Stay down here and be good. I'll be back shortly." Heading on deck at the call, he glanced between them. "Are you stealing my Captain away for nefarious plans, Mister Richards?"
He pulled his body out of reverie, rather satisfied with the results of his memories and used a barrel of water to clean himself up to his standards then strolled off to find the information he wanted. It was still early and there wasn't many people up but those who were were rather deep into their cups and quite talkative. He found out what he needed, returned to the ship and flicked a biscuit into Savvy's lap. "Being the good girl and doing your homework, I see. Your Daddy would be proud."

"He's bribing me to not skip out and leave Hunter just yet." Pocketing the diamond. "And he just bought himself another day."
She jumped lightly as the biscuit smacked into her book and skidded across the pages, followed by his voice. That's what she hated about assassins...it was their job to sneak up on people and never be noticed until it was too late. Picking up the biscuit in one hand, she closed her book with the other and pulled her hood down a little more to cover her face before taking to ripping peices off of circle and eating them. "Mocking so early, are you?"

"just making sure things are amiable for the time being. I've made arrangements for our plans, Thobias. we should be good to go as soon as your ready."
Hunter watched the Claw a moment, marking things...and narrowing his eyes. that had been his puzzlebox, damn it. but it that bought the needed time, then it did. besides, he was a little wary about Elven things after swiping the ring he always wore.
"Des, get ready to leave in the next few days. we'll be staying some extra time, I have buisness to tend to."
Des nodded, figuring the 'buisness' had to do with whatever bargain he made with Jones.
"Look lively boys! or you'll feel the lash, or my tail if you don't move fast enough!"
a dragon's tail, after all with all it barbs could make quite a nasty beating instrument.
Fang sat back, waiting patiently as always, sitting in his cabin and smoking his pipe lightly. letting his mind drift on the currents of smoke. before a knock got his attention.
"Enter."
One of the crew came in, and gave a report, getting a slight grin from Fang.
"I see. Then we must be extremely cautious. To think that Captain Deacon would make a bargain with Jones speaks wonders for his concern. But Jones doesn't shake me. I'll have my day soon enough with the Claw and the Chimera."

"Good." Finally deciding that her hair was immaculate again, he dropped his hand back into his lap. Well, it was an open opportunity to talk... She always was good at that and he trusted her too so that was a bonus. "When I went back, father asked me why I keep doing... it. What I do for my mother. But I think I don't really do it for her anymore... I do it for myself so that I can remember, so that I won't forget." A light sigh and he was quiet a moment as if trying to just sum it all up so that she could understand. "It's selfish."

Sitting up, but letting her tail stay wrapped around his ankle she listened to him. Jae knew what he was speaking of...she didn't understand it too much herslef but at the same time it made sense to her. Black sand was more or less all that was left behind of that spot out in the sands few knew where, where a battle and tradgedy had both taken place. "Why do you think it's selfish though? All you want is not to forget her." But something seemed to resound inside herself as well, what with recent things for her being brought back up as well. She had dreamed all night of Karinn.

Thobias chuckled, "Found her weakness, did you? Not that difficult considering her name." Giving a grin to Gem and then turning his attention to Richards' words. "I'm ready when you are. There's nothing else to prepare."
Watching to make sure she was eating, he shook his head, crossing his arms and leaning casually against the wall. "Early? Half the day's already gone, Vryn. You've been lazy and the sun's high in the sky." He stayed like that for a moment or two, watching her then moved over to stand next to her, glancing down at the book. "If it's not homework, then what are you doing?"
