Nyx wouldn't even stop to look. The boy would be upset so he immediately pushed the kid forward. The Umbreon flicked him with his tail and began running. Jade would have no choice but to run as well. THe stench of blood would send them running away ....the Cherubi would run from the undergrowth. Running, skidding, and skirting away ....the pokemon would run away from this battle .....as their eyes would show their fear.
It would seem that he wouldn't find a battle here ...at least not yet.

Jade looked pretty happy. A landmark had been spotted and he knew they were now half way through the forest. Naively he didn't know that pokemon were all running in fear away from him. Actually he wouldn't even realize how many his pokemon had ended up killing. He just began running, hoping to get out of the forest quicker. Luckily he hadn't run into anything. The boy continued running. Soon...hopefully really soon he'd be heading home to his land. But first he had to report to his professor. It would be a flapping of wings that would warn him of the danger this time ...as a Vullaby ...trying to learn to fly in the upper branches would come crashing down at him. If he didn't move to avoid it ....he would end up landing quite heavily upon her ....then and there .....as it's feeble little wings tried to keep it up in the air. Yet, it was obviously failing and quickly.

Jade was suddenly tossed to the side. He had felt something ram into his side. It was Nyx pushing the kid out of the way. The Umbreon was trying to avoid the bird but at the same time more concerned about the kid. In a way, the forest was irritating him. What the heck was wrong with all these pokemon?! She would land with a thud on top of the boy ....as she smiles at them both. She was going to fight this battle completely from this one spot as she stay on Jade's back quite literally. Though she didn't weight so much that she couldn't be tumbled from her high ponyta.

Jade fell and then something landed on his back with a plop. He glanced up and saw some kind of bird...or vulture up there. He tried to shake it off and then retreat... Nyx on the other hand, aimed to slam it to the ground. He was hoping that he'd be able to finish this battle quickly! The forest was getting close to the end and they wanted to be able to leave! The pokemon would try and roll backwards and away. Her entire body would roll backwards as she tries to tuck and roll away. So much for holding the upper ground there, she was obvious no match for a pokemon two levels higher as the tries to roll away from trouble.

(17-15) + (12- cool = 6 DMG ; Vullaby 9 HP remaining Nyx had no choice but to go onto the defensive. By the pokemon tumbling away and staying away from Jade he had managed to land a hit. It wasn't strong enough but he'd do better next round. For now, he merely tried to blend into the shadows and avoid being seen by the bird. Though if he was expecting an up and attack them sort of attack he was sorely mistaken as big tears would come to the Vullaby's face as she turns to face her opponent. Letting them slide down her face making wet tracks as she cried openly ....aiming to drop his sp. defense as she used Fake Tears.

The tears might've fooled some pokemon but the dark pokemon wasn't affected at all. He lowered his head before lunging forward. His claws dug into the ground aiming to hit the Vullaby and knock it out with this hit! Though instead of stopping the attack, she would continue it as she counter-attacked. Her eyes would grow in size as she gave the cutest of expression and tears trickle slowly from her eyes. It was enough to stop the coldest heart cold, and she was aiming to do that to dark pokemon ...stop his attacks in it's tracks with her tears.
She would continue to use Fake Tears.

Regardless of whether the pokemon was unconscious or not, he was ready to keep moving forward. Leaving the pokemon there he pushed Jade forward once more. Time to keep moving. Traversing the worn path through the islands ancient forest would bare an unexpected result. The further Vanni seemed to get to the forest's edge the harder it would become for her to see....a dense fog seemed to be rolling in. Soon enough everything around her was obscured and hazy, the ground in front of her feet along with the trees around her seeming almost like ghosts.
Further on a figure would appear in the mists. Short, blue, and with a spiralling white shell, the Pokemon could belong to only one species. Omanyte. This one seemed odd however. It wasn't fearful like most of the 'prey' in this region...and his shell was whiter then most...almost polished.
">Ooooh yeeees<" The Omanyte called out, tentacles wriggling in his own pleasure. Reaching out with one of his two longest, the mollusc would rub it over the upper part of his shell as if he were smoothing his hair back.
">Welcome to my parlour beauty<" The pre-historic Casanova would declare, his tentacles curling in what almost looked like a smile; obviously he'd come up with some quirky ways of showing his emotions due to a lack of a visible mouth. ">Ah it's so nice when honey's like yourself waltz into my parlour!<" The Omanyte cried, wrapping his tentacles round himself in a hug as he began to twist slightly back and forth ">Why it just makes me...just makes me...<" He practically squealed in delight...but his eyes didn't match his tone; they'd become dark and hallow, and the reason why would soon become clear...
">It just makes me want...<" Suddenly those tentacles release their grip on him, lengthening dramatically as they thrust out in the direction of Vanni ">Just makes me want to KILL YOU!!!<" Te Water-Type screamed, the insanity now showing in his voice.
