You're supposed to take in the little thins in life; a feather bouncing along with wind, pouncing on warriors' tails, playing with a mossball. It as not your fault I was killed- and I was not slaughtered, dear one. No warrior is 'slaughtered'. Every warrior is capable of defending himself or herself. Sweetheart, you can't be worrying about things that are out of your paws. That's my job. I'm up in the sky, sitting on one of those stars in Silverpelt. I'm always watching you, from StarClan. But you need to take care of yourself as well; and that means leaving the protection to the warriors- and me. NightClan warriors take an oath when they become warriors. " Guardiankit, if you want to be the best warrior in the Clan, then you must be a kit first. Relax sometimesl NightClan warriors will never let anything happen to you, Envykit, or your sisters. And all the other kits in the Clan- and I trust Hauntedheart with you. She will love you like I still do, and we will be together someday. But for now, you need to focus on not focusing- being a carefree kit. I know it will be hard, believe me. I lost my mother when I was very young too. I know exactly how you feel, darling. [Leopardstorm rose, knowing exactly what she needed to do. She had to speak wih Lavenderrain, then go to confront Blood. She was tired of the torture her kits were going through, and she only wished someone would kill him. She paused from moving, looking down at her kit. Cinderwing snorted slightly, shaking his head. "Cold? Me? Never, I'm never cold," he purred in fake amusement. He smiled though. He had lied. After all, he didn't want to seem weak in front of the medicine cat. He yawned though. "I suppose we should get back to camp though. Darkshadow's still gotta tell us what happened," he decided thoughtfully. He stood up, and almost turned to leave, but stopped, smiling slightly. "Hey Hauntedheart? Thanks," he meowed quietly, smiling dimly.
