URG! sad

I just got an Enchanted Wooden Trunk! I'd like about 1/2 the items it may contain... and about 1/2 of THOSE sell for almost nothing on the marketplace... Whereas the trunk sells for about 1K.

Should I just open it and see what's inside (and hope for the best)? Or should I just sell it, knowing I've got the better deal out of it? (And yes, Monty Hall would've hated me. lol )

One one hand, 1K is not an insignificant chunk o' change for doing nothing. On the other hand, it's a small enough amount that if I were to get a crap item (e.g. a Black Retro Phone or Chalk Outline), I'd manage to survive.

Argh! Indecision! crying What would Patrick Swazye do?

I'd say sell it. I opened a wooden trunk few days ago and i got these construction barricades that I can't even sell back to shops. I haven't bothered to check if they have any value in the marketplace.

I made a outfit change to my avatar today. I finally got my letter I bought through mail-in. It's a shame that the thing gets covered in green goo if I use the grunny in the other sitting pose.

Matt!!! *big smoooch*

I got one too, let me know what you decide. I certainly dont need another retro phone, but a chalk outline would be cool. Whate else might be in there?

And hey, enjoying the patrick swazye video with the whole family this morning. That guy also did a creepy mustache man song I thought was fun fun funny.

*one more smooooch*

This shooting just makes me think more on how I want to be a positive influence in peoples lives. And hopefully I can pass this on to my children. Our actions have meanings however subtle they are. Just smiling and saying hello or good morning to a stranger can make them feel good inside. I can hope for our leaders to make our world a better place but I know I can do my part one person at a time. *huggles all* Love you guys!

I think you are so right Joe! If you look back on your own life you can clearly remember certain things people said to you that really had an effect. The people who said them probably didn't even realize that their snide remark or compliment would make any difference but it did.

I too believe that even the smallest things such as smiling at someone and saying hello can be, as you said, a positive influence. smile

*huggles* Changing the world one huggle at a time right cam! >.<

Haha! Yeah. Of course I don't mean we should all turn into "Suzy Sunshine" 24/7 'cause frankly that would get on people's nerves (not to mention it's impossible to do without going a little insane) rofl

I'd just would like to try to be more aware that a comment, or condescending look, or smile might have more of an effect on someones day than I might expect.

I believe in positiveness like it is magic. You put it out there, and it starts circulating more and more. It's hard for me, cuz I have spent my whole life being super hard on myself and therefore I super-criticize everyone else, but I try not to. And I do smile at strangers. I told my son that when you smile at someone, even if they don't smile back, it doesn't matter, because it will stick with them and might just change the way they see the world some day.

Big dreams, I know! I hope I am not turning him into a big puffball that gets beat up every day in highschool though... crying

If you decide to list it on the marketplace (the prices fluctuate quite a bit), let me know… It may sell quicker than you think. wink heart

And that goo sucks. I can't equip my Burning Cities (Forest on Faia) without it gooing up practically everything. And in the past few days, I've even got goo on my feet when I put it on! crying

*sigh* It contained a Chalk Outline. Seriously, it's about the cheapest thing it coulda had, and the MP's flooded with them. Good thing I think it's kinda cool… stare

ahhhh smile That's very cool. And you can always remind your son that being friendly doesn't have to mean the same thing as being a doormat. wink It's something I didn't figure out for a long time. rofl
