Jack blinked. "Okay, not much bothers me these days, but that scared me..."
"Kain," the vampire replied, simply.
"Jack Spicer, Master of Robotics," the relatively young genius introduced.

Jessie had raised her eyebrow just slightly at all of the new people, but hadn't said anything as she leaned back against the railing of the ship. She did notice the other pokemon trainer, but she wouldn't steal his pokemon now. Not yet. She was on a ship. In a world she didn't know. Where would she go if she had stolen the pokemon?
Nina, on the other hand, looked on at all of the new people, sort of shying away. They were women... so they probably wouldn't hurt her. But still... it might just be better for her to sit back and watch, if they spoke to her she'd smile and speak back, but until then, she'd just...stand there.

(( Ack will fix last post))
With a ruffle of her her feathers she looked towards the direction of where they were going, "I don't like fighting." She said simply crossing her arms. Looking back down Jack she smiled, "You haven't seen scary till you seen me angry."

Jack smiled a sad half-smile. "Beg to differ," was all he said, giving Nina a quick glance. He had gone through the most horrific experiences of his life just the night before. "I'll catch you guys in a few minutes!" he declared, walking over to Nina. "Hey, um... You heard Vyse was setting us all up with rooms, right? Well, uh... D... Did you want your own room, or... or just separate beds, or something...?" he asked her.
"I don't get scared," Kain replied.

Looking at Kain Ai half smiled, "I can see why." She put her hands on her hips and looked around the ship. "Care to give me a quick lesson about what kind of person we are made to fight. Because the quicker we stop them the quicker we get to go home right." As she looked she watch as Jack ran over to whom she believed to be his girl and smiled blissfully. Ai loved watching love bloom and cover people.

Nina had seen him coming towards her, and managed to keep her calm this time as she looked at him and pondered his question. Would she like a separate room? Well... on one hand, it was Jack, it might make her feel safer to have him nearby... but would she want to sleep in the same bed as him? She didn't think she was ready for that... so... "Um... maybe just separate beds... I think I'd feel safer if you were nearby, but... I don't think I'm comfortable to share a bed," she spoke her thoughts, a sheepish smile, she felt the need to apologize for such a complicated decision "Nina's sorry for being so difficult...."

"I honestly have no clue," Kain replied, shortly. "And there are seven."
Jack smiled a little, glad Nina felt safer with him around. He didn't like that he couldn't be closer to her, but he understood. "Alright. No problem."

Ai nodded to him and started to tare her dress to make it shorter. She didn't like being in long dresses if she was going to be fighting. "Seven total or seven are left?" Her eyebrow raise again and she let the fabric just blow itself off to the wind.

"Both," Kain replied, thinking nothing of Ai tearing her dress. Most of the women he'd seen (humans notwithstanding) wore less, anyway.

Ai stopped fixing her outfit and looked at Kain in the eye. "How long have you been here?" her face looked like she figured that they have been her a while and that they would have put some beast to rest.

Kain looked away for a moment, thinking. He wasn't exactly sure, to be honest... "Too long," he finally answered. "It's hard to tell. It seems time moves differently here than where I'm from."

"Well, hopefully for your sake and mine we can speed up the process," Ai said as stood up on the railing and looked out to the great beyond. "This world seems so much like my home. Filled with creatures of all sorts. Are the people here human or what?" She asked looking back to Kain.

"Most of them, although it seems that some of them, at least, are starting to develop different kinds of abilities," Kain replied, following Ai and also looking to the ground below. "There are also many different kinds of creatures. Giant, poison-spitting spiders, a massive leviathan that turned out to still be quite young, and lava-dwelling dragon, just to name a few."

She grabbed on to one of the rope and leaned forward a little it was like flying. Closing her eyes she started to hum a little to herself. Sound of music always seemed to calm her and help her think more clearly. Though she wasn't to pleased about being here, she had to help the people she had sworn to protect. Humans had made her their princess on earth and in return she promised to take care of them everywhere. "Well, Kain," she said after the tune was done and she felt better, "I guess there is enough of us that we'll be able to defeat what comes our way."

"Agreed. Not without a few casualties, but we'd certainly defeat any adversary," Kain replied, with a nod. They'd already lost one of their group, one had gotten severely injured, and one had amnesia. As far as Kain was concerned, they were only going to lose the weak ones, which would actually do more good than harm, in his eyes.
