"She would only find something wrong with him. Everytime she would finish, she'd discover something just not right and then she'd try to fix it. Fix that and she'd just find something else. I'm telling you, there is no perfect man in any world nor workshop. Everything is flawed, nothing is perfect." Finishing off her sandwich then with a sigh. "I really need a cup of coffee now."

"Jesus, it takes that long with you woman? That sounds like too much work." Followed by a cringe and noise from him as the heel of her boot was grinding down on his toes.

"If it's a job done right then yes. That's why you don't have a girlfriend. You're probably too impatient to do anything right in the bedroom. I'm a methodical woman. Anybody wants quick from me it has to be on a good day with perfect timing in the schedule." Rolling her eyes at him before turning her attention back to James and ignoring a cringing Joey and a giggling Rennell. "Well I need eight hours of work. But I can alwasy stay up late to do that. Sleep is really overrated. The study is temping..."

"But that means I have to give up coffee. I'm not sure that's a committment I can make. Coffee will be heartbroken." However a pout and a noise as Jessica more or less pranced over to them and hadn't even taken the time to clean herself up first. "You sound way too happy about this." Turning a look to James. "If I don't turn up in a few hours, send a search party." Getting up then and turning to Jessica. "Are we sure we have to do this?"

"See...when she shows up looking like that you just have to wonder what's going on. Or ponder why she enjoyed it enough to not change out of it to preserve the memory fresh as can be before it's time to do laundry..."

Apparently Jessica, when going into girly mode, was really happy and excited about such a prospect. She was super special excited enough for the both of them, with cheek pinching and all. "We're going shopping." Turning a frown on James then, "This is your fault." And then motioning Jessica to lead the way...there was no way she was getting out of this one and she knew it. "Do we have to bring a camera?" That she could probably instantly send to James or some such nonsense as well. Lord help her.

"First I feel weird and now people are dressing me up. When did we enter the looking glass again?" This woman wasted no time did she? Oh yes she was in for hell and all she could do was watch as Jessica pulled things off of racks with seemingly no logic to it all and it was all just a blur of color and fabric as she was being sent to try things on.

Which she stalled a few moments in said changing room before she sighed and knew she wasn't getting out of this. Well...maybe he would like it. Though he had never complained. At least not to her. Thus to trying stuff on, though she did pop her head up over the stall top as Jessica came back with shoes. "You do know that I'm a scientist and not a fashion model, right?"

"Just shut up and give me the shoes." She still wasn't sold on this idea of prettying up. She didn't pretty up well. Usually when she did, it just looked awkward. Science lab or business attire worked...this was a whole other deal.

But taking a pair of shoes and slipping into them she sighed and opened the doore, wearing a green that matched her eyes rather well. "If this backfires I am so coming after you."

"Are you using a butterfly analogy, really?" But she did what she was asking of her, coming out of the small room fully to the sets of mirrors that were set up, looking herself over. Turning about in the mirror a bit before a light wrinkle of her nose. "Too stiff." Then a blink as she was heading back into the dressing room. "You want to put me in red? I'm blonde Jessica. And not the platinum sort, and you want to put me in red." Mumbling again as she disappeared, changed shoes and slipped into the requested dress with a bit of pondering over how exactly it was going to stay on her since it indeed had no back but let logic go for the time being, once again coming out to let Jessica see. "And how many things were you planning on making me go home with?"

"And still, you're more excited than I am about this. I'm not quite sure why...unless you're planning some James monitoring experiment that we both don't know about. Which as much as I respect you, I wouldn't put it beyond you." But she placated Jessica anyway, trying on various combinations of style, color and shoes before with a bit of arguing they were narrowed down to four. What she would ever wear any of this to she was beyond knowing as it was.
