Jade stopped for a second, breathing better. Okay, he didn't need to run as much here. He was finally back at the beginning where he had first come from. The forest was going to be a lot more peaceful then the other forest he had just escaped. He walked, a little speedily but it was a walk all the same. Continuing forward, he began walking. This one he wasn't expecting to fly through but he hoped to go through it fairly fast. In the foliage she hid herself ...trying to stay out of sight. The little green leaf would stick out on her head ...as she kept herself as flat against the ground as possible. Eyes watching them move ...a bit at a time ....as she hid from them in the forest greenery. She had no reason to fight, no reason whatsoever ...as she let the little leaf bob on her head.

Jade continued to keep running. He wasn't even paying any attention to anything on the ground or in the bushes. The boy had his eye on the prize and that was the way that he could get out of here. (18-11)+((12+5)-9) = 15. Krokorok takes 15 DMG! Krokorok is at 5 HP! Culann is at 11 HP!
The Growlithe's trajectory didn't wavered as he charged. He landed exactly where the Krokorok wanted- his opponent's mouth. But instead of getting caught in the teeth (though he could feel a couple tear at his body), he pushed himself further. The blaze poured right into the Krokorok's gullet and exploded. It seemed he'd gotten a flambéd meal after all.
Vanni grinned, glancing down at the Kabuto she still held carefully to her chest. "Don't count us out just yet." Beside her, Urvogel scratched the ground, somewhat put out that he couldn't join in the fight. He could, he supposed, but he got the feeling the Hairball and the Green Lady might yell at him.
/You ready to back off, big guy?/ Culann remarked, having pulled slightly free of the massive jaws.. It wasn't that he wasn't enjoying the fight- he might have subconsciously been trying to abide to Vanni's supposed wishes. Or perhaps he just wanted out of this place as much as everyone else did. Forgoing other banter, he began to wriggle out of the Krokorok's grip- this was not a place to stay.

Culann would find the Krokorok's grip surprisingly easy to escape from; the large predator simply dropping the little fluffball upon his posterior as the remainder of the reptiles body went ridged.
When at last the Pokemon began to move again it would be to place a single claw in his mouth, feeling along his numerous fangs until he came to one in particular. A fang which had been snapped off. It would grow back of course, for a creature that ate Pokemon made of rock that was inevitable; but the important thing was HOW it had been broken.
Not from breaking the hide of his prey, nor crunching their bones. No, the dog had leaped into his mouth, broken one of his teeth, and had the gall not to be swallowed!
The Krokorok's body began to rumble, releasing a low reptilian hiss as his black eyes turned bright red. ">YOU LITTLE!<" The Ground-Type bellowed, the words which followed nothing but unintelligible cursing. At the same time his right leg would go up...and immediately come back down again, the other quickly following suit. Soon enough the Krokorok would go into a frenzy, stomping about and attempting to trample the Growlithe.
He'd flown into another Rage....and this one was very, VERY real!

A howl would rip through the forest ....as the newest problem would appear. With their tail wagging ....they would run through the trees, their aim to surround. For, this time, it would seem that Jade had gotten himself mixed into a fight that wouldn't be that easy to avoid .....as a Poochyena that was scarred from muzzle to tail would leap out in front of him to make him stop, and the rest of his pack would circle around.
His growl quite audible as they all seemed to be thinking the same thing .....fresh meat. And the pokemon's eyes would lock on him, this would be a good fight ....and this human would make a delightful meal as the poochyena pack kept them from getting away this time.
Jade would have to fight, or risk being pulled down by the pack.

Jade stumbled to a halt, glancing around. Whoa, this time a whole pack of pokemon had come to greet the boy. He looked around a little nervously, wondering what to do. Well Nyx was out so things might not be so bad. At the same time he wouldn't be able to defeat all the pokemon. He wondered who else to call out. Namiko and Helm were still at decent health. Even the Ducklett freshly caught was still pretty good. But Nyx had the most health. The leader approached and Jade could only watch.. Nyx bared his own fangs as the leader approached. Pack members of course tried to use brute force. At least the pack leader seemed to be the one ready to attack. If that one was brought down, the others would retreat and follow. It was dark pokemon versus dark pokemon and the Umbreon wasn't one to lose. He lunged forward, aiming to slam the Poochyena into the ground with a Tackle! The Poochyena would smirk as he dances out of the attack range. The pokemon's body would be allowed to hit the ground quite clumsily as he snorted a bit.
His ears would flick sharply.
He would rock backwards and out of the way of the incoming attack. His nose twitching a bit .....as he backtracks a bit and away from his opponent.

Nyx looked annoyed that he had missed. The Umbreon had stumbled and supposedly it had made him look weak. The stupid dogs were chuckling and the leader was looking smug. He resisted the urge to lunge at the other pokemon again. No, he needed to wait this one out. Speed was on his side as he ran away darting back and forth ready to avoid whatever attack was coming! The Poochyena would jump at him with a smile on his face. The dark type would be hard to beat in a straight on fight, and he knew that he had little chance of doing more than angrily him. Yet, the leader jumped, his entire pack was watching him as he came forward swiftly and underneath everyone's eyes ....he seemed to vanishes for a moment as he would come form the left side to strike hard against the Umbreon.
Claws would skid lightly ....as he lands back ....as his body seemed to for a moment seem to be transparent as he was using ...Astonish.

Claws tearing into the upturned earth, Culann quickly raced clear of the Krokorok's rage. It was unwise to stick around while an opponent lost his mind... but it was even less wise to allow his rampage to continue. Briefly, he glanced over his shoulder. Vanni still stood behind him, seemingly utterly unfazed by either the furious reptile or the hysterical fossil. Privately, Culann wonder if she ever reacted normally to anything- the flee from the Cranidos may have been cowardly, but it was at least mildly rational.The Growlithe needed to take this thing out, and fast.
No need for more words. With warning, the Growlithe swerved his course, swinging back around to the still-enraged Krokorok. The flames once again building around his fur, he charged and lept straight at the Krokork. He'd slam into the reptilian beast's side, and end this.

In response the Krokorok's Rage simply continued. Tail lashing about the reptile continued to stamp his feet, thrashing about as he tore up the earth and obliterated any object unfortunate enough to fall into his path. It was a Counter, intentional or not. He'd take our every last drop of his anger on Culann's hide!

The dark pokemon simply watched the Poochyena. Even when it supposedly vanished, he scoffed. Did the other pokemon think he wasn't going to watch what his opponent was doing. Thus when the creature charged from the left, Nyx slid right and manuevered easily out of the way. He swung, hindquarters swerving aiming to Tackle the other pokemon while it was close! But, the dark pokemon wasn't the only one ready for this attack ...as he would shift his body a bit. Dropping his tackle into a roll the moment he missed as he would twist out of the way of the tackle so that it would find nothing but thin air if he had done it right, and his roll would end with him back on his paws ......as he tries to make sure that his failed attack didn't become another injury.

((... huh. That's my first death, I think. No kill like overkill?))
The Krokorok's Rage was of no importance to the Growlithe. Let the reptile scream all he wanted. All Culann cared about was finishing this b*****d off once and for all. With that single-minded determination, he bodily crashed into the Krokorok. The tongues of flame reached a zenith and exploded once again, leaving a burning scar in their wake. The spectators of the fight had to turn from the explosion, shrinking from the light and heat.
When the blaze died down, Vanni could see to figures lying prone in the crater left behind. A panicked bile rose in her throat. She rushed over, dropping to her knees next to the singed body of Culann. With great trepidition, she placed her hand on the Growlithe's body. Dimly, she could feel the slow in-and-out of his breathing. "Culann?" she whispered
Thee Growlithe's eyes fluttered upon. /Told you I could do it./ His voice was less a bark so much as a croak.
Vanni's smile was a little shaky. "Time for some rest, brave knight," she said, quickly summoning him back into his Pokeball.
Urvogel had no time for such sentiments. Instead, he was picking at the Krokorok, who showed no such signs of life. He was much worse off than Culann, nearly burnt to a crisp. An awful smell of boiled flesh and ruined earth rose from the Krokorok, permeating the forest. His whole body was black, bits of scaly skin flaking off as the Archen's claws tapped it. /Think it's dead. Can I eat?/
"Stay back." The young trainer's voice was crisp and business-like; despite his annoyance, the Archen retreated to her side. Vanni seemed oddly accepting of the carnage before her. Her green eyes were fixed on the body before her. "Give it a minute." The last time she'd encountered what she thought was a dead body, she'd accidentally buried a friend alive. She didn't want to make a similiar mistake with an enemy.
