(( I think we should more or less wait for Veroen. If he's helping a friend that's not very nice to continue on without him if something's possibly wrong, etc, etc. Sorry to go all preacher on you guys. ))

Valkyrie Demon Veroen hoped that Ceon would dodge the bullets that Alasdair fired at him. He was trying in vain to end this bloodshed, before it got any worse. He rushed to the front of Alasdair. "Comrade, stop this! This is wrong! He is my love's childs father!" (( xd this post reminds me of romeo and juliet! when Romeo sees Merctuio and Tybalt getting ready to fight.))

(( Didn't see your post.)) That playful and excited little smile slipped from her lips in one flicker of a second. Her cheerful mood diminished at the reality of her situation. Wasn't that the exact same line she played on Stan when he invited her over?He can't hold her responsible for what took place when Stan had simply let her through his front door fully knowing the possible outcomes. Of course, He hadn't exactly seen it the same way and he had been a little more than just upset when Cosette's normally very developed control wavered. Now, She was put in the exact same position as Stan had earlier been, How ironic was that. But she didn't have a choice, she wanted to be home and safe under the cover of her fancy little apartment. Cosette was beyond the point of caring just how or who got her there. Even it was a strange, bi-polar and probably dangerous vampire that most likely had alterer motives in assisting a young lady.
“And what would you do?” She started, stepping away so that she could look up at him and clearly state her point. “Do tell me, What could I possibly have that you would be so tempted to take from me once we are behind doors? I'm a weak, young little thing. My blood would be of little use and any talents of mine are unchanneled and rather clumsy. So really, If you have other intentions, Better that you state them now so I don't end up laughing at you for tryings something sly later on.” She held her smalls hands out at her sides to demonstrate just what a helpless creature she was, especially with a bloody bullet wound in her leg. If he attempted anything while she was injured, Well; that would be just plain low. dark_diablo_descendant Aiden tended to play his charm on and off, he honestly cared little or nothing of what anyone thought of him and his standards were solely his own. He loved playing with people and having fun and each little victim he got to know in a different way playing a different character of sorts. It was always fun to lead them along on their little thread but it only lasted so long since the thread became frayed and eventually it wore out and Aiden had to find a new play toy. In the end most of his little play things ended up becoming attracted and attached to him, depdendent and once they became too dependent and started expecting things of him, that was when he up and severed the torn and tattered thread. Some of them went with absolute dignity, marvelling at how wonderfully he'd played them, other went with no dignity at all, like the snivelling monsters they truly were and some never had the chance to truly react to his true status. It all really depended on what they were like and what his mood happened to be when he decided to sever their connections forever and send them elsewhere for the dead to deal with them.
"I assume cabs are above you, dear lady but where is your knight in shining armour or perhaps your dearest servants whom wade upon you hand and foot? Are you telling me they do not exist or you simply do not wish to make the effort to contact them? Then again, I suppose an apartment can be a rather small place for servants so am I to assume that you live on your own? If so I'm not so certain it is very intelligible to invite a stranger over to your house when you know next to nothing of him and when he is a hunter, dear Cosette. Perhaps you should consider the consequences before being so willing to accept my help. Perhaps I want something from you and that's why I'm considering assisting you." He grinned again, this one just as angelic as the first though this one was underlaced with cold amusement.

Veroen did nothing to prevent Alasdair's slap in the face. Maybe he did deserve it? Veroen did not change the position of his face after Alasdair's hand connected with his cheek. He stood there, and kept his face tilted to the side. He didn't know what to think.
He silently looked back at Alasdair with resentment. "Have you forgoteen what love is, Alasdair? Have you forgotten?" He stood straight now, just barely towering over Alasdair. His height when standing up straight was something to be admired. He looked at an angle into alasdair's eyes with his singular Crimson one, and then he spoke again.
"Alasdair, I never said I wanted to be human, nor do I completely like the idea of the love of my life becoming the thing I have hunted since the beginning of my existence. But it is necessary, necessary for her and her child to live. These Lycans, they are but men as well as we. Flesh, and mind. Same as us. The only difference is that they turn into a different kind of beast and they still have a heartbeat."
He now had a solid expression on his face. "We are all entitled to what we believe, Alasdair, my comrade, and it is our right. But to criticise and judge others, that is not your right. I am an assassin. And an Assassin I shall stay, but my targets will be based on my beliefs, and be fueled by them." He looked back at Eden, and the rest of them for a moment. He then looked back to alasdair, his friend and ally.
"You may look at me as soft, but the bloodshed needs to stop. There are other things we need to worry about, more than killing off each other, the last of the immortals in this city. There is more to worry about, than each other, greater things. And if you disagree, then thats fine with me, I will respect that. But do not treat me like your lesser for having different opinions than yourself." He stood there, standing by his words, and his feelings. He looked utterly unmovable.
He silently looked at his comrade now, wondering if this was the end of their friendship. He hoped that it wasn't, for himself and alasdair were great Vampire allies. This wasn't how he had forseen these days...

(( No problem. ))
Meredith's glare could not have been any more condemning than the one she gave Alasdair the moment he crossed the line and suggested having her child die and turning another innocent child into a monster for their own purposes. Eden was not pregnant because she wanted a child, she was pregnant because she'd been stupid and had made some mistakes and hadn't really anticipated that lycans and humans were compatible. However, the mere suggestion that killing her child and replacing it with another, suggesting that her child was some disposable toy, that was when Alasdair crossed her boundaries of tolerance. Him striking Veroen the way he did almost made her lose herself but she held her ground, clearly struggling not to attack Alasdair with everything she had.
"HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU IMPLY THAT MY CHILD IS SOME DISPENSABLE OBJECT THAT CAN BE LOST AND BE REPLACED BY SIMPLY GRABBING ANOTHER ONE! MY CHILD IS NO OBJECT! THIS IS A LIFE WE ARE DISCUSSING, NOT SOME F**KING TOY OR MACHINE!" She was fuming, her scarlet cheeks and trembling form a very clear indication of that.
As Veroen stood up to Alasdair and defended himself right along with her she was filled with amazement and yet more love and admiration for him. He really did care, he cared enough not only to have Lily claim his eye but to stand up to his closest friend and comrade for her sake as well. He wasn't just going to drop her like a fly, he was fighting for her right then and there and a smile almost broke out on her face. It was hard to believe that this devotion had developed so quickly when they'd had what seemed like so little time and everyday she grew to love her vampire, her angel more and more. She'd all but forgotten that Ceon was there waiting to harm and her grip on her gun eased though it was still trained on the waiting lycan.

Ceon grimaced as his muscles forced out the silver bullets, and steam rose from the rounded holes in his chest and stomach. Being shot so many times by silver, he had grown a sort of immunity to it, to the point that he felt no impact of the bullet, just the burning inside of him. As soon as the compact pieces of silver hit the ground, Ceon was chargin at Alasdair again, this time readying himself to slice the vampire's neck.

(( Jebus Al and V, you two are asking me left and right to NPC you two when I suck at NPCing. T.T
I'll try not to make you mad, Al but I make no promises. XD ))
Meredith heaved a sigh as her peripheral vision registered Ceon's impossibly fast form crossing across her range of vision to once again attempt to take out Alasdair. She knew that the void master was absolutely feral at times and if he was capable of outsting Tokeru then he was certainly capable of mauling Ceon beyond recognition. Her gun was already loaded and it quickly trained back on Ceon and she did her rough estimations of approximately how long it would take her bullet to reach the speeding Ceon and where it would need to be shot so that Ceon ran into it. Wind resistance was another factor but she was close enough range that it really wouldn't matter a hell of a lot.
'This is for your own good, Ceon ... You're going to get yourself killed and maimed at this rate ... Al isn't going to protect you like Veroen and I would ...'
Her thoughts there to rebuff her and encourage her decision to maintain the peace for the sake of the innocent people and more importantly for Ceon's own safety she took the shot. Eden had been dabbling in guns for a good ten years of her life so she was a more than incredible shot and her dad had illegally taken her hunting along with him to let her handle a rifle. However, she knew how to aim fire arms just as well and right now she was aiming to clip Ceon before he could get his jaws on Alasdair. This shot was the equivalent of an overdose of morphine for humans to a lycan so it would likely incapacitate him within moments and it was especially made for berserk lycans since it entered the blood stream and quickly spread due to the adrenaline rush.

Te bullet smacked right into the undersides of Ceon's arm as he prepared to lunge. This caused him to trip over himself as he propelled forward and land on his back. Ceon turned over and saw that the world around him was spinning, and he knew that was his cue to leave, and so he darted back towards his apartment, occasionally running head-on into a tree on his way out. (exit: Ceon's apartment)

Eden was relieved to see that her bullet hit and almost instantly seemed to take effect since Ceon was diverted away from Alasdair and began fleeing the park, smashing into a few trees as he went. Of course the guilt set in again and she felt bad for shooting him but she was too stubborn to admit or show that she felt bad. She needed to uphold her image and she wasn't about to let someone get the better of her by playing on her guilt and exploiting it. However, now that Ceon was out of the picture it would be easier to focus on everything that was happening within the park but the reason they were here in the first place still hadn't really been resolved. She wasn't a lycan yet and Alasdair was now harassing Veroen and Layna seemed to be motionless and reactionless throughout the entire ordeal except to shout that Ceon was an idiot.

((Mostly couldn't keep up, so didn't bother posting XD))
This was not her fight, so why get involved, she thought absently. "Meredith, are you alright. You are pregnant, you must be calm." She murmured quietly as her grey eyes followed Ceon's quickly retreating back. Layna stepped toward the woman, her manner quiet, even though there had been violence all around her. This was nothing compared to many things she had witnessed and experienced.

A dark form entered the area of Central Park, just in time to see the mutt Ceon retreating from the area recklessly. Shinigami continued forward, seeing a group of Vampires and Lycans. His features were hidden under a large leather trench coat. The demon walked at a slow human pace, until he stopped about 12 feet away from the peculiar group.
He silently eyed them, and noticed a human girl amongst them. It surprised him to see the human still alive around the Vampires and Lycans.
He looked over at the female Lycan, curiously, surprised to see the Lycan girl showing care towards the human girl.
He was silent throughout this, and simply watched, with not even bothering to hide his presence.
((By the way, for those of you who don't know, this is my other character, a demon by the name of Shinigami. He is the messenger of hell, and friend of Daiguren and Ceon. lol))

Daiguren appeared in a guest of wind, his arm on the shoulder of Layna. "So you've come back to the big bad city after all this time." Before she or anyone could react he moved to a tree branch just behind her. His silver eyes stared through them seeing more then just the image of there souls.
