Bizarro decided to flash-fry the Bistro earlier today. My girls that were surveying it got caught in some of the crossfire.

Bizarro is the opposite of Superman. Just as powerful, but mentally unstable. Taking him on is like being the straw in the proverbial hurricane.
Batwoman managed to throw him for a loop with blue kryptonite. I have no idea how she procured that. I'll have to look into it.

Oh, alright..... Erm.....*Tries to remember.* Right Kryptonian, I think i read about him in one of the books at the lanterns before...
Well, I saw the Lantern's shield up in full force last night.
*She shrugs and leans against the frame of the doorway.* Not sure what Blue Kryptonite is but the bat-cave has tones of stuff in it. There's even a giant penny there.

Well I was hoping the shields would actually leave some room for someone to stand on the roof. Unfortunately it only leaves a few inches around the building. This Bizarro guy tried to fly through the ceiling and was unable to break through it. But from what I saw he could brake through the chick lantern's green... er... green chains that came from her.......... I believe it was her ring.

There was an actual Green Lantern there? Damn, I missed a lot last night.
Lantern's powers are based on their will power. If she was distracted or ill-prepared, Bizarro could conceivably break any construct she makes.
This makes me wonder, though...what is the power source for the defenses at Lantern's? If it's related to a GL ring, whose ring powers it?

Ah.... Hmm... well that's interesting power I guess... If you believe you can do it and know what you expect would be a nifty power to have.....
Well I heard.... I believe her name is Natu, mention two other lanterns. One named Kyle and another named Guy. There was talk about whether or not the one named Kyle was dead. But Natu said she saved him with the help of a Star Sapphire... whatever that means..
Chris stated that the Lantern Kyle owned the bookstore and that Chris was just humoring Guy about whether or not he co-owned it.

It's a good chance then that the defenses at Lantern's are tied to Kyle Rayner's ring and powers.
And like you said...he recently died. And hasn't been back to Lantern's since then.
I wonder how much reserve power that place has left...

Well that's what I meant. The Lantern Kyle isn't dead, Piper. Natu said he was dead but with the help of a Star Sapphire brought him back to life...
How I don't know if his death would actually affect the power source within the shielding.

"Back to life" connotes that he was, at least for a little while, dead. And when Green Lantern's die, their ring functions cease. Even if he came back...
::ponders this::
Powell may not be as safe at Lantern's as he thinks he is.
