*She shook her head out of the day dream she was in* "Well sis I know I do... I am off" * She moved over and huged her sister tight as she moved out the room before anyone could blink*

"The sword is in my room You may get it when ever you like but I do not wish to touch it again. It tool alot just for me to get ot up there."

she spoke softly as she turned back to the training dummy. Crystal started into her night practice. Working on her swings and attackes. She didn't stop moving as she fight against the lifeledd dall.

Lan didn't move when Crystal turned away from him, rather he appeared to be studing her. A proud one she was...a good heart, but foolishly blind. Lan could see the goodness in her, how she always strived to help her friends, and protect them even when she could hardly protect herself. Something ticked at the back of his mind as he watched. Whether it be past memories or old scars returning to haunt him, he watched the young woman fight against a lifeless target.

"She is strong, is she not?"

"Yea, makes you wonder if not all humans are bad."

"It was her fault you were killed, you realize that right?"

"Naw, it was my own stupid actions. I shoulda been watching your back...so you could have been watching mine."

"And left the young Warrior Spirit to be snuffed out? By a creature of Mastema no less? Nay, I would rather fall prey to his creations then to see a warrior with such potential killed."

"So you forgive her...?"

"She did lift your sword...even if she did have help. I gave her my word that I would forgive her..."

Lan sighed, disapointed at the fact that he had been cheated out of his deal. He was thinking about having Crystal fetch the blade for him, without Focht there to frost over the girl's hands she probably would not be able to touch the blade again without burning herself. Then again...maybe she really could, if the sword would let her.

Raven shadowed slowly away from the dojo after huging her sister, receving, at that point, the great feeling of a weight being lifter off of her own shoulders. Her sister was a huge part of her.

Crystal slowly stopped and looked over to Lan. It always put her on edge when people stood and watched her. Letting the wooden weapon rest as her side she turned to facec him once again.

"Is something wrong? Mine is the top room. It will let you in."

"Nothing is the wrong, and I will retrieve Nal's blade at my own liesure. Continue your training..."

Lan's booming voice commaned to the young Warrior Spirit. She had plenty of others to teach her the way of combat, and Lan would have been hesitant to teach her even if she didn't. Turning away from Crystal he walked over to the far wall and sat down, leaning his back against the structure's wall. It groaned and moaned under the weight, but the building was sturdy and held his weight. Ka'lana was unsheethed and resting in his lap. Again he seemed to be studying Crystal, watching her movement for flaws.

Her steps have become more careful then they were beofre. she stayed on the balls of her feet and amost never stopped moving. She had better aim now and there was some power behind each stike she took with her short sword. She aimed for things like the trachea (wing pipe) or the collar bone.

"Crystal may I speak with you please." *Leng called from the room as he entered and took a seat waiting for her to walk out.*

Crystal stopped her training once again as she heard someone call her name. She waked over to the door way as she poked her head out to see who was there. She didn't know the man setting there and wondered how he knew her.

"May I help you?"

"Hmmmm..."

Lan leaned a little closer, propping his elbow on his knee and rubbing his chin, thoughtfully, with his index finger and thumb. The sharp bristles of unshaven hair was irritateing his face, and he knew he was long over due for a trim. His beard, which he normally liked to keep shaven, was growing back and it itched him something fierce! His thoughts continued to wander, but oddly enough they would always lead back to the Warrior Spirit and her training. She was imperfect, rough and grainy. She was definatly skilled, and held such great potential for a girl not even considered a full woman yet. Lan rolled his eyes, trying to remember how old, exactly, he was. That thought quickly slipped away as his attention returned to Crystal. She appeared to be doing better then she had been moments ago, was it because she was nervous about him watching her so she put on the strongest show she could? Or did she feel pressured to be stronger? The introduction of the stranger hardly slowed Lan's study of the young lady, young indeed! If Crystal was only 16, then Lan would look to be in his mid 50's in comparison! His real age, however, was long since forgotten. He felt something warm, suddenly, in his lap and realize that Ka'lana was angry with him! He errupted into a hardly laughter, laughing at his wife's jealousy.

Focht told me to watch over you. I have come to make sure nothing bad happens to you while he is away. *smirks* And if you don't mind me saying you look really good tonight. Are you seeing anyone?

Again, Lan was laughing, loudly! He was on the brink of tears as he finally stood up. Ka'lana was quiet again, and she was safely tucked into her sheeth. His bellowing laugh echoed through the training hall as he approached the exit, the Warrior Spirit was blocking his exit, because he had to squeeze through when no one was in the doorway, so when he paused it looked as if a grandfather was protecting his young grand daughter. He was still laughing, wipeing away a tear from the edge of his eye.

"I don't think that's not any of your business if I'm seeing some one or not. As for Focht, you can tell him I can take care of myself. It's not like anyone has been around when it really matters anyways."

For once Crystal seemed to sound a little hateful and rude. She didn't like people asking about her life like that.

Would you mind going on a date then? Maybe out to the beach or something? *he paused as he looked at her then the other man* I'm sorry of no one has been there to help. If you let me then I'll be there. I won't let you down.
