No one says you have to weigh exactly in thee optimum range. But when you're 15kg over the limit the results are immediately obvious. I've got quite a large pot belly, I can hardly run at all and I've got a recurring intestine problem. sweatdrop I agree with all of you guys that looks aren't everything and indeed intelligence and character are certainly more important. However, it certainly is better to be much lighter and healthier.

A good rough guide for girls is if you take your height in cm and minus 105, it should be around your weight in kg.. eg a girl who is 170cm tall should weigh around 65kg. It works most of the time. Not sure about guys..

It works most of the time. Not sure about guys.. I think guys usually weigh about 5kg more than girls of the same height. But even using that definition I'm still 15kg too heavy.
