"Sad gone! Happy time!" Mike shouted as he grabbed Mitsu's hand and dashed towards the gym, Portabello hopping after. After nearly dragging the poor girl through the treehouses and down the shakey wooden stairs they looked upon the seemingly massive Gym.
Mike leaned back to take a look, but was through with scenery. "I need some action." He said as he walked in, his Pokemon following.

"Wow Mike!" Mitsu said tryign to catch her breath, "You really are itching to battle aren't you?" Mitsu pushed the gym dorrs open and stepped inside.

After a moment the train took off. Dante leaned back into his seat and decided to take a little nap until they got to Rustboro. That is until he remembered something that he had in his pack. Reaching over he pulled the pack onto his lap and pulled out a blue disk after a moment. It was the Surf HM. He had totally forgoten about it. He knew that it was a powerful water attack and would go perfectly with Shiva's movesets. Plus it with an attack that powerful he would totally decimate Roxanne's team. He smirked a bit at the thought.
Reaching to his belt again he pulled out Shiva's pokeball and let the seal pokemon out.

"Hm." Pondered Mike as he was met with a black pole obstructing his walk. The pole seemed to push foreward when he walked, moving the whole thing to block his way back. "I'm bad at this game." He wailed, as he sat there confused.
Then came a lightbulb. "I got it!" He exclaimed with pride as he slowly raised up his leg...
...
...hopped over it and continued on.

Ryka looked around the underground cave that she was in. "Well, there's writing on the walls.. But I can't read it.." Ryka called up to them. She looked down the path, where a large rock was sitting. "I don't think there's any way out. But it's really nice down here!"

Mitsu scoffed and easily sought her way through the puzzle. "Child's play. Wait till you see the gym they have in Mossdeep!" Mitsu said with a small laugh as she remembered helping the twins set up the puzzle.

"Interesting," Jaeshan said, peering down as best he could. The Flash was beginning to fade. "Shield your eyes, Ryka," he said again. "Butterfree, Flash!"
"If Shocker were here, she could have used Flash too," Kasiya added gloomily.
Suddenly, Raichu jumped down from her shoulder, and landed in front of her.
"Rai...rai!" it cried, before releasing a Flash of its own.
"Hey wait a minute...if you know Flash..." Kasiya started, looking down at the Raichu in awe, "then that means....you must belong to somebody!"

"Okay guys, use Tackle on that Growlithe once more!" Mag shouted as the protective barrier on the other Growlithe faded away. "Growlithe A don't let them get to Growlithe QRST, use Roar on them!"
As the two pokemon approaced the Growlithe let out an immese roar that quaked the very ground. It was certainly a scary sound but Sunfire was not affected by the sound and burst by and hit the Growlithe QRST with a powerfull tackle attack. It finally collapsed and fainted.
"Oh man this ain't good. Well I guess I better us the Ace up my Sleeve. Growlithe use your Overheat attack!" the Guard shouted. Mag was amazed at the stupidity of the Guard. Sure it could hit Vaporeon but Sunfire was ahead of Mags commands and jumped right into the attack absorbing all the power while the tired Growlithe began to pant because of all the energy needed to produce the wave.
"Nice try but I think this is over. Team Tackle!" Mag shouted to his two pokemon. The promptly flattened Growlithe A and the Guard surrenedered. "Okay I guess you can go through into Safffron. Enjoy your trip to the city."
Mag walked through into the immense city. Building stood everywhere and all was a busy. Mag quickly went West towards his destination of Celadon city.

Mike was having a blast beating the system by walking ON the puzzle rather than through it. He looked down only to find Mistu blazing through the puzzle herself. "Bet you she thinks she's smarter than me!" he said to himself.
"Hey! What are you doing, get down from there!" A soft voice rang from the corner of the gym and headed closer. A lovely young girl with purple flowing hair wearing a blue lined jump suit dashed over to the cheating trainer and crossed her arms. "I knew it was you Mike, everyone else has had the patience to acctually DO the puzzle." She snapped, but not sounding too feirce.
Mike hopped down and took a slight bow. "Thank you, I figured it out all by myself." He smiled as Portabello leapt from the other side of the wall landing next to his trainer.
"I do hope you're not challenging me with a Breloom." the girl chuckled.

When Keegan turned around to see if Ryka was coming, and he couldn't see her, he suddenly had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. "I don't think she's coming somehow,"he told the Spearow on his shoulder.
"Spearoww," the sparrow squaked, and the young man sighed. He quickly unfolded his bike and mounted, Spearow still on his shoulder as he rode towards the nest.
They arrived to find it perfectly in tact, Electrike sitting beside it, napping peacefully.
"Well," Keegan said loudly in order to disturb the sleeping Pokemon, "I'm sorry your task was so gruelling."
Electrike jumped to his feet suddenly, looking happy to see his trainer back.
"There you are, Ma'am," Keegan said to the Spearow as she left to go back and sit on her nest. "Take care of those eggs." With a quick salute he was off again, Electrike in the basket this time, still exploring the area north of Vermilion City.

Mitsu giggled. "Maybe I am Mike!" she said. Soon after she reached the top where the gym leader was susposed to be. No one was in sight. Mitsu sighed noticing that she was speaking to Mike. Nightmare would have no problem defeating her either she though miserably.

Shiva looked a bit confused at being let out so soon and glanced over at her trainer questioningly. Dante leaned over in his seat and smiled slightly holding up the disk. "I have a suprise for you girl. Do you want to learn a powerful attack?"
A happy bark came from the seals mouth and she clapped her fins together in a way of saying yes. Dante smiled and pressed the blue disk onto Shiva's forhead it flashed for a moment befor going back to how it normally looked staying intact unlike the weaker TM's.

By this point, Jaeshan had turned around to look at Kasiya and the Raichu.
"Um, Kassie? Doesn't it seem rather odd to you that you just wished Shocker was here to use Flash, and then that Raichu used Flash?" he said, looking at the Raichu.
Thank you! the electric mouse thought,
"What? Well I just thought that maybe it was a coincidence. Why do you think it's odd?" she asked, tilting her head.
She can't be serious! Jaeshan thought, thunderstruck. He glanced helplessly at Raichu, wondering if he'd have to come out and actually say it. After a second or two, he realized he'd have to. "Kasiya," he said sternly. "That Raichu is Shocker."

"No way," Kasiya scoffed, looking down at the Raichu. She nodded, and stepped towards her trainer, looking somewhat sad. "It can't be...it is you..." Kasiya bent down and picked up the Raichu. "But how...?"
"I'd guess she took the Thunderstone out of your bag while we were battling in that sandstorm. We wouldn't have seen her transformation, and she must have got scared and fled at the last second, and took shelter in here. The rest is history," Jaeshan said.
"No wonder Growly was able to find your scent," she said, nuzzling her new Raichu happily. "You still smell the same. But you're so much...bigger!"
"Rai!" Shocker protested, and jumped up onto her head. It was a bit of a struggle to get the Raichu comfortably up there, but they managed.
"Hey, you promised to let me evolve you when the time came!" Kasiya said, suddenly remembering. Shocker's ears drooped. "Ah, nevermind. You're safe, and that's all that matters."
"It's a miracle no one tired to capture her," Jaeshan mused, turning back to Ryka. "We've got to get you out of there."

Portabello simply raised his eyes and lowered his tail, insulted, but he knew when to not make a scene.
Mike frowned at the girls comment. "Just because he's weak against your Pokemon Winona doesn't make him weak." An angry grunt escaped as he walked towards the arena, Winona following him.
"Well, the only Pokemon I've ever seen you with is your Charmander, so it seems like you've got quite a team. I see five Pokeballs on there." She pointed to his belt as if he didn't know himself.
Mike smiled as he looked at all his Pokemon. "Well Winona, I'd like to be the first to challenge you," he lifted up his hand and made a guesture to his friend in the corner. "But I think I'm going to let my friend Mistu take a swipe at you this time."
He waved at Mitsu as he stepped aside, as if to say "All yours."
