At the mention of light, Andrea made a face. "Eh..no, not really..I just bear with it." she said while running a hand through her hair. She snickered at the thought of Evacy running around in a blindfold and hitting everything in sight. "I say go for it."

Andrea grinned, thinking of all the fun she could have if Evacy tried wearing a blindfold. She stuck her tounge out back, making a childish 'meeehhh!' noise as she did so. "So? It would be a blast to watch you smack into everything!" she laughed at the thought of tripping. "You wouldn't be able to do it." she said while shaking her head and looking amused.

Catriona felt herself stirring from sleep and groaned softly. Where was she?
Opening her eyes she waited for her vision to come into focus before she could look around her. Moving hurt, and her whole body ached. She was just contemplating getting up when she realized she was not the only person in the bed. She froze, hoping he was not awake while the memories of last night crashed into her.
She had wanted to talk to him; ask him if he remembered her. Apparently he did not.
Now what was she going to do? The fear was back; she couldn't move. Her breath quickened and she lay there, staring at his torso, curled on her side, wondering what to do next and asking herself how long she could stay there, pretending to still be asleep.

Blushing at being caught, she sat up, pulling the blankets up to cover herself, though she was still mostly clothed. She didn't know what to feel, but she was certainly nervous and mortified.
Again, she couldn't look at him so she focused on a spot on the bed somewhere off to her left as she worked to get her own name out.
"Catriona." she managed quietly, realizing her mouth and throat were dry. Her mouth opened again to finally ask him what she had come to ask him but she couldn't manage it so she let out a soft sigh instead.

She watched the door close, half grateful he was gone, but half disappointed for the same reason. For many minutes she sat on the huge bed in the quiet room, listening to the songbirds outside whose cheerful melody seemed to mock her.
She had been raped; the full force of that only just then hit her. However, she didn't feel like she thought she should have felt. She should be confused, enraged, emotionally scarred. However, she was only confused; for some reason, she could not be mad at him or blame him. And that is what confused her.
After a long while she slipped out of the bed, adjusted her clothes to make herself presentable, and headed down to the kitchens where she reported that she was feeling incredibly under the weather. She was allowed to take the day off and, with no chores, returned to Pix's room to wait for him - to what purpose, she couldn't say. She just felt they were both owed explainations.

On his way down he spotted the group of Evacy, Kiro and Andrea.

He was definitely not in the ******** mood to deal with children. Baring his teeth at Evacy he walked past her and began storming the kitchen. The noise must have carried through the castle as he through about pots and pans at the assembled cooks, until one of them had enough sense to give him some of last night's left overs on a platter. with that he left and returned to his room. Walking up to the bed he placed the platter down, "Where can I take a bath?" He had just barely managed to conceal his anger at the poor frightened girl, he compensated for adding, "You can eat what you want while I'm gone."

Kai had been up for a while now. He was bonding rather well with Lucas, training down in the stables. He had left a note on the dining table in case the others needed him. Lucas was teaching him swordfighting. More accurately, the aggressive kind that he was not used to. Lucas had said that if he wanted to stay alive, it was necessary. So he went along with it.
Lucas and Kai had fashioned crude training swords out of thick tree branches with the twigs ripped off.
After an hour Kai had started to get the hang of it. He swiftly disarmed Lucas and went for the neck.
"My, you're improving fast. It must have been all that practice you did underground," Lucas said, patting Kai on the back. "Let's take a break."
Kai nodded. "Thanks for the help," he said, panting heavily with fatigue.
They sat on some hay next to a stabled horse.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, you and the group have a meeting with Boss today. He wants to brief you on the situation. I'm sure he can answer just about any question."
"Good, I was just about to say something about that. I think talking to the Lord General would be helpful in getting a better understanding of the situation." Kai rubbed his forehead.
He was trying to ease his mind and loosen up, but this invasion of "creatures" thing was all he could think about.
