Ceon smiled as he released himself from Layna's grip, three of his fingers been broken from the tension. He extended one of his claws as he drew closer to the newborn pup, and sliced the umbilical cord. He took two of the towels from Sibyl, and used one to clean the pup off as it turned to a human baby almost instantly, its soft cries filling the room. He wrapped his son in the other towel and held him in his arms. He spoke in a soft voice, "Hello there Gabriel, do you want to see your mommy?" Ceon knelt next to Layna and handed Gabriel into Layna's arms.

Layna sat up slowly, her exhausted form reverting to human. Her face and hair were drenched in sweat, but a smile stretched across her lips. She gently took the crying child into her arms. She looked at the infant, her eyes alight with a motherly glow. "Gabriel..." She whispered, stroking the baby's soft skin with a finger. The infant slowly quieted, until it was just sniffling. "My little boy..." She murmured.

Layna smiled softly, an exhausted smile. "Please, take him...I want to get out of the water...I'm cold..." She murmured. The bloody water provided no warmth for her. She was truly happy right now, but so exhausted. If she stayed in the tub, she would fall asleep.

Layna pulled herself from the tub carefully. Her body trembled at first, but slowly stilled. She yanked the plug from the tub, watching the crimson water disappear down the drain before she grabbed a towel, and wrapped it around herself. "That was....so hard...." She whispered, touching her still hurting abdomen. She looked over to Ceon, and her new child, but noticed his hand. "Oh Ceon....please tell me I didn't hurt you..."

Sibyl decided to see if she would be able to perhaps email Jaden to see if he was doing alright since the silver nitrate but apparently his email address was not posted up. Now that either meant that he did not have an email address or only a select few possessed his email address. Since Jaden could be secretive she supposed it was possible for him to keep his email address a secret though she highly doubted it. She supposed she wouldn't be able to check up on him so she gave up on that thought.

Gabriel turned his head to Layna, the soft voice enticing his tiny mind. He reached out his small hands to her and waved them around, trying to reach her. Ceon smiled and handed Gabriel back to Layna. "He either wants to be loved by you, or he's just hungry."

(oh a baby boy! congrats! Steffon and Razu would be over neptune if they knew he was born. They love kids...and babies. plus Razu had to kill someone who he had concidered a friend in competion. He found out it wasn't like that...it's sad. crying . sorry for this random post...I just saw that the baby had been born and had to say something....)

Layna smiled, clearly pleased by his words. "I am, too, my love. Trust me on that." She whispered softly. She pulled the cloth aside, managing to pry Gabriel's fingers loose. His mouth was quick to find what it sought. Layna winced slightly as he suckled hard. "Yeah...he's hungry..." She murmured, exasperated.
