Rai looked the man over trying to calm him down as he looked over the other broken bones on him. "This guy looks like he fell forty feet and somehow managed to stay alive. Though I suppose the Med-Ninja on duty took care of that before going elsewhere." He looked at the man. Lightly he rested his hand on the man's leg. "Sir. You probably broke your arm and leg. While only fracturing your left leg." The man shouted at him telling him that he already knew that and his hand on the man's leg wasn't helping the pain either. Jumping a little he placed the wraps next to the man's broken leg and lifted it lightly onto them. Tying off another batch of knots he sighed. "Only one more and this guy is done."

Rai went over to the other side of the bed and looked at the assumed fractured leg. It wasn't as bad as the arm and leg he just did with nasty purple splotches from bruising but it was puffy. He looked at the man about to say something but after what he just heard from the man he decided to hold his tongue. Setting more wraps down he gingerly lifted the man's leg. The man gasped a little but Rai ignored it and set his leg down on the wraps. Once more he tied them and backed away admiring his work. The man glared at him and said "What are you smirking at. I could beat you 6 ways from sunday." Rai wiped the look off his face and grabbed his stuff. He didn't really understand the meaning of that, but the old man looked like he did and would.

Rai walked over to a old lady. He smiled sweetly at her as he took him in as another hoodlum. He set his shirt and jacket on the chair nearby and grabbed the wrapping and two splints. "She doesn't look that bad." He set the stuff at the foot of the bed and walked over beside her. "Excuse me Ma'am. I'm from the Academy and was wondering if I could possibly fix your injuries. Though I don't actually know what they are. I can also only splint broken bones at the moment. So if you have any of those I would be more then willing to look and fix them till the nurse come over Ma'am." Her eyes almost became twice their size but nodded slowly pointing to the heel of her foot say that she fell over going back to the house when she was done with her gardening.

Rai nodded along while she continued to open up and talk more. Unfortunately it wasn't getting her to talk that was the problem. It was more about her not being able to stop. Rai almost regretted having said something to one of her questions. He looked down and saw that he did it all wrong. He sighed to himself and smiled when the Older lady asked if something was wrong. He reassured her and retied the splint properly. He didn't mind listening to the lady talk. In fact how much she kept talking reminded him of his grandmother. He turned and grabbed his stuff. "Well good luck Azumi. Best wished to your daughter and her pregnancy." He waved as he turned and left the room.

Once Rai was out of the room his back slammed against the nearest wall. "That lady was as draining as my grandmother.... Maybe they were friends once." Shaking his head, he starts to walk towards the nurse station when he heard a little boy crying and his mother trying to calm him. Quietly setting his stuff just inside the door and walked over just enough to see the little boy had in fact broke his arm. "Thank goodness it's something I can actually help unlike all those other people." He walked in and the child started to flee away from him because of his dark circles around his eyes. Calming both the mother and what he assumed was her son. He got a splint and some wrapping. He laid out the wraps and lightly laid the child's arm on the bandages lightly and placed the splints on each side of the arm and tied it quickly and flawlessly. He smiled at his work and left without saying another word, grabbing his clothes and headed out the door of the room.

He didn't know the Medical Ninja that worked this area and hoped that he/she didn't mind the extra help. He listened around as he grabbed more splints and gauss. He walked to the first person in the area and looked down at the girls leg. He winced and held his breath. "U-Uh hi little one. I am going to be the person that is going to admini-....fix your broken bones." He let out his breath and began to place her leg on the splint. He winced a little as the leg made a crunching sound and the girl racked in tears. The pressure against the splint made his stomach upset. He finished the first splint and stepped back to make sure it was set right.

He looked up at the lady and felt very afraid. "U-Uhm I'm going to have to do another one on your arm. Sorry." He hoped the little girl wouldn't be to upset with him. Rai laid the splint on a tray set to about her height. He gingerly took her arm and set it on the splint he had just lain out. Gently he began to wrap it around the little girls arm. He smiled as he looked into her eyes to try and distract her. "So how did you manage to get hurt this badly?"

His hoped her pain would quickly fade. He will need to give her another splint before he was finished with her. He took a new splint from the other tray and slowly slid the splint around her pinkie finger. "It could be worse." He thought. He looked up to see her face. Tp see if she was in any pain from the splint or broken bones. He was relieved to see that she had started to stop tearing. She whimpered as she spoke. "I was playing in the alley when a giant puppy came BURSTING out from around the corner and landeded on me." He smiled and thought the errors were kind of cute in a little girl way. "I see well lets make sure to take it easy till the doctors here to truly fix your leg."

He left the room wondering how big the dog must have been as well as how fast it was going. He shook his head as his imagination produced a huge wolf like creature at blinding speeds and laughed a little. "If it was that there would be NO little girl hahaha." He went back and got two more things of splints. He rounded the corner onto another elderly couple. Easily in there seventies or eighties he thought to himself. One with a broken leg and the other with a broken arm. He walked up to the couple with a smile on his face that seemed a little out of place with the circles around his eyes. He was truly a nice person though. "Hello Sir and Ma'am. Can I ask what happened?" He listened as he did up the splint for the older man on his arm. He was listening while he worked and laughed at a few funny parts.

He tied the tie loosely knowing that the doctor HAD to be seeing them shortly. Any injury with elderly could be bad if left untreated. He lowered down to where her leg was and slowly started to check to make sure he bone had not shifted. When he saw that it had not he splinted it up slowly. Apparently she broke her leg on a stair she fell down and he broke his arm trying to save her. Even so they still seemed like they were in love after almost five decades. "What's a decade?" he thought to himself but was polite and never asked. The elderly man had a look in his eye that made him seem at least four or five, of those decades they mentioned, younger. He had youth enough to still want and try to protect her. He thought and was probably right. This man looked like he would face twenty thugs and win with sheer will power to protect his wife. Rai could understand how that would be possible but he didn't doubt it. He smiled and waved to the "young" couple, as they pointed out to him, and walked off finished with what he had to do.

((Enter from Main Island: The academy))

Batsu walked into the hospital with his hands in his pockets. Normally he would be more confidant coming into a situation, but this time he was walking into an unknown situation.. The boy knew nothing about the hospital, nor anything about what went on IN the hospital... let alone how to do it.

The boy walked further into the hospital and he became even more nervous until he met a female that greeted him at the front desk.

Mayumi saw the young boy walk in and sensed how nervous and how timid he was, so she being the exact opposite, broke the ice. "Hi and welcome to the Kirigakure hospital! Is there anything I can help you with?"

The boy was somewhat relieved as he gazed at the pink-haired and chipper female. It looked as though she knew what to do considering how relaxed she was. "Yeah, Uh... I'm here to train, s-so could you help me?"

"Hmmm... another student huh? We just had another student train here not too long ago. Seems that there are a bit more of you all coming up. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Sure, I'll help! Follow me!" Mayumi got up from her chair and walked to a back room with Batsu following shortly behind. ((+2 CP = 20 CP))

(1) Mayumi walked into the room and watched as young Batsu walked into the room and stood a couple of feet from her. "Okay, first thing you'll be learning how to do is place splints. These are essential for sprains and broken bones as they immobilize the affected area. One must be careful to not make one too loose or too tight as either one could cause more damage to the patient. For practice, I'm gonna give you my arm and I want you to make one before we move to actual patients, okay?"

Batsu stared at the nurse and gave a small nod as she grabbed some bandage and what looked like two sticks. The boy grabbed the two sticks and placed them on Mayumi's arm and wrapped the bandage roll around the sticks... messily. Mayumi tilted her arm downward and the splint slid off.

(20) "Um... that's... not bad for a first try. But as you saw, the splint slid right off, so you didn't tie the splint down tight enough. Try it again."

Batsu looked up at Mayumi as he gave splint-making another shot. "You didn't have to struggle to compliment me. If I did bad then I did bad, no need to sugar-coat it miss." Batsu pulled back after tying another splint and looked at it. His first try was a complete bust, but his 2nd try was beautifully made. It was tied nice and snug, and when Mayumi moved her arm the splint stayed in place.

(19)
Mayumi was definitely impressed with the boy's improvement. How anyone went from a sloppy bandage placement to... that was truly remarkable. The boy then untied the splint and tied it again. It wasn't as tight this go, but it still stayed in place and was still neatly made. The boy was making improvements every time he made a successful splint.

(17) Mayumi just sat back and let Batsu do his thing. She no longer needed to instruct him considering that he was doing better and better with each attempt being made. Batsu continued to untie and retie Mayumi's splint. This wasn't exactly a fun exercise, but anything that helped him become a better ninja was something worth doing.

(7)
Batsu continued to bind up Mayumi fake wound over and over until he heard a loud snap in the room, followed by Mayumi screaming "OUCH!" It was then that he gathered that on of the sticks broke and the nurse was stabbed by on of the resulting splinters. Batsu immediately rushed to untie the splint and saw what he thought. The stick did in fact break.

(4) Batsu pulled the bandage off of Mayumi and watched as the broken stick fell down to the ground. He then examined where the woman was stabbed just to make sure she wasn't bleeding or anything. She ended up being fine, but he had to wait until the woman grabbed another stick before continuing with training.

(15)
The boy waited just as patiently until Mayumi grabbed another stick thing for him to replace the broken one. Once she did so, the boy went back to making splints again and made them almost as perfect as he did before. Though the splint wasn't professionally-made, it was definitely passable and Mayumi had no reason to interfere with the training.

(15) Mayumi continued to watch as the boy kept making more splints on her. He did in fact learning at a quick pace and it made her smile a bit. If only he would learn more about medical training, because this boy would definitely be a great asset to the team. She let the idea rest in her head for the time being, but she did not dismiss it as she watched the boy make more and more well-constructed splints. She decided that it was about time to have him actually set splints for real patients with real needs.

(7) Mayumi's curiosity could not take anymore. She had to find out who this boy was and what his goals were... and if need be, she would try to convince the boy to consider medical training."Excuse me young man, but what's your name?"

"My name is Batsu... Watanabe Batsu, and I'm an academy student."

"Well, Batsu... what are your ninja skills?"

"Um... I plan to become skilled in genjutsu and possibly become skilled in medical ninjutsu as well, but medical training will have to come later."

"Good," Mayumi thought to herself. "At least he has his head screwed on right and plans to study medical ninjutsu." She knew that medical training focused on studying and whatnot, so the two would eventually intertwine later on in life.

(2) Batsu continued to talk to Mayumi about future plans and the more he talked, the worse his splint-making became. It got worse and worse until Batsu decided to stop talking while making splints and resume talking whenever he wasn't.

Unbeknowst to Batsu, his progress had been tracked by the Ninja Council, they noted how he was ahead of most of his classmates. They knew that the team of Gennosuke and Shinzu would need back up soon. Thus they began to search for any free Genin to join them. They couldn't find any however, so they settled on a rather advanced Student. A hawk quickly flew down through a window in the Hospital, landing right on Batsu's shoulder. Attacted to it's leg was a small note, and held in it's claws was a small packge.

Quote:
Batsu, you have been promoted to Genin, congradulations, and are hereby ordered to go to the grove and assist your new teamates. They are currently engaged with two D-Class criminals.

The package contained Batsu's Kirigakure Headband.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:22 am

Batsu looked at the message sent by the higher ups and looked up at Mayumi with a puzzled look, but also one that had a sense of urgency along with it. Batsu ran out the room and towards the exit. The boy tied his new headband around his neck and as the boy left the building, he shrugged the messenger hawk off his shoulder and let it fly back to headquarters. There was no time to waste, Batsu had his first assignment and he had to go immediately.

)Batsu hobbled his way into the hospital. The young genin was losing massive amounts off blood due to the beating he was given in the grove. This just proved one thing. He still had a long way to go before considering himself a ninja. The boy sat down in the waiting area with his head bowed down in shame. Here he was thinking he had a chance at being somebody and it landed him in the hospital. Great...

Mayumi made her way into the waiting room and saw a young boy bleeding from his arm. The open wound didn't look TOO bad, but it looked like there was more psychological damage than there waas physical. The medic walked over to the young boy and pulled out a piece of gauze and some bandage tape. She quickly prepped the area before bandaging it and immediately ran his hand over the area. A green chakra flow left out of her body onto the wound as she started recovering HP.

Batsu just sat there with his head hung down. He wasn't disappointed at Akemi for damn near killing him. He was mad at himself for being so god-damned weak. He began to think that Akemi was right all along.

Masa walked into Batsu's hospital room. "Batsu Watanbe?" She stared at the pathetic wad of man before her. God how she hated depressed people, but to have a man reduced to a shriveling mound of self woe was just pitiful. She herself was just getting out of the hospital, and she was ready as ever to leave this place behind. Her clothes were .... revealing to say the least. She wore black tights beneath black, leather, chaps, which were adorned in straps that ran down her thighs. Her boots were platformed stompers, not to high, but the last thing you would want hitting your face short of cleats, unless you were into that kind of thing Her arms were covered in the same leather as her pants, joined at the shoulder by two clear straps, but the real attention was on her chest.
Masaraku was blessed and cursed by her ... assets ... while every man in Kirigakure seemed to look upon her as if she was a full grown woman they were hard to navigate around in combat. Not to large mind you, things could have been worse, but her frame was small and muscular, and two giant sacks of fat did not help her at all in combat. Thats why she normally wore what she was wearing now, a simple bandana-like piece of cloth, wrapped tightly around her chest so that her fun bags seemed liable to burst out at any moment. Truth be told this was as close to naked as things could get in public, but if things were ran her way she would be stark nude right now, but she was a practical woman. Hell she even went so far as to wear a full bodysuit on missions ... well the one mission that she had been on anyways. She looked at this poor sap in front of her, a few cuts and a bruised ego.
"Listen kid, its my release day and I've been cooped up here for nearly a year. Whatever happened to you I guarentee its nowhere near as bad as recovering from being crushed and tossed in the water, alive but immobile for three days while you wait on help to arrive. Then you reach the point where you give up on life and go to sleep, praying it will all end soon only to wake up in this shithole. So whatever is ailing you, put a bandaid on it and get up, its revenge time."

(( I guess I'll RP as Batsu 2.0))
As this bossy girl came up and started barking orders, The young male swept his strands of black hair from over his right eye to behind his ear He then pulled his out from his band and put it back into place, tighter this time. Granted that this girl failed to give a decent introduction, he himself was also sick of being in the hospital. So the male stood up, dusted off his skintight shirt and baggy shorts and straightened his belt that was filled with the basic tools for a medic... bandages, medicines, poisons. He then grabbed his wooden bow in his left hand and looked dead at the female. He had to give credit where it was due, the girl was pretty and it looked as though she was extremely confident within herself. Otherwise, she wouldn't be looking like her boob would pop out at a moment's notice. The presentation wasn't enough to turn him straight, but it would prove to be a great help.

"Well... where to oh great bossy one?" Batsu decided to let this girl to lead the way
