Nope, never. Idk how I got into it either, 'cause my dad is a preacher/pastor and we "don't believe in that stuff". Whatever, yaoi is awesome and I love it....even if my family doesn't.

I can't say I was. I was just a bit indifferent about it until I read a Yu Yu Hakusho yaoi fanfiction. I was addicted instantly, needless to say.

I don't think i was ever against yaoi, heck i didn't know their was yaoi till i saw it at age 10 in youtube...

To be honest, when I first heard of it...Yaoi digusted me. I had this one friend who was OBSESSED with yaoi...and...she rubbed off on me and now yaoi pairings are all I read save for a few hetero pairings I'm doggedly loyal to. (HowlxSofie) (HaruXChihiro)
Funny how it works that way. It's kinda my dirty little secret though, only a very very few people know that I like it. heart

Yea, I would always make a face, N never wanted my best friends to show me, but one day during recess (mind you this was in 7th grade) They were discussing that I shouldn't be judgmental bout it an just join the 'darkside' by showing me some Junjo Romantica... That was the first time I ever blushed at a Yaoi, since then, I've been a fan.

Before I even knew what yaoi was, I tended to shy away from homosexuals. Not really sure why but I did, I was an ignorant brat. confused At first I read heterosexual fanfics but then I began to wonder: "What would happen if this character was with this character?" And then the fandom just grew and I just thought of more and new pairings. xd

I was never against yaoi...ever. I loved it ever since the first time I saw it and I still do. BUT my friend used to hate yaoi so much because it made him 'feel gay and gross'. He finally admitted he's gay though.
