symphonic Winds has two bari saxes; funnily enough, both of us are female never had this happen to me before, I was always the lone female bari sax player until now. But our band is pretty big, I suppose... there's about... seventy-six of us, I think; but I can't be sure. XP
The low reeds sections is as follows: two baris, one alto clarinet, two bass clarinets, one bassoon, and one contrabass clarinet.

7 percussionists we have NO PIT during marching season which sucks BIG HUGE FRIKKEN MONKEY BALLS cause i play xylaphone so i get stuck on bass drum which i dislike immensly urghhhh

weve got 4 trombones in my section 2 seniors, and then me and another junior. but were supposed to get like 5 trombones coming up next year.

i have only 3 Clarinets in my section i play first for everything i have faced it im such a band nerd! oh and Band nerds add me so we can talk! smile

In total there are 7 oboes, but in my band we have 2 including myself....

For marching band we had 8-9 clarinets(switched because of quitters)
For wind ensemble for concert we have 5.
In concert band for concert we have 8-10(I've never cared to count when everybody was thereXD)
Yeah, we have more in concert band then in amrching season. One just moved here, and then two fo the boys didn't do marching for some reason.
For regioanls we had 34 clarients.

8 percussionists in wind ensemble this year.
Hoping one will quit/get removed from band because his grades aren't good enough (which sounds horrible but whatever).
Somehow 7 percussionists work a lot better together than 8 :/

6 flutes, 6 clarinets, 4 trumpets, 4 saxes, 2 french horns, 1 tuba, 1 trombone, 1 bass clarinet, idk how many perc. We don't practice with them.

mikodono In my band class at school there are only two baritones. It's sad but not alot of competition for first chair which is very nice wink just one in mine, thats me smile lol
