Greetings, all!
The name's Gambol. I am a girl, with a male avatar. (I do hope no one has a problem with that. xd )
I discovered that Delara has my birthday! blaugh
Love me. You know you want to.
Anyway, I float about in guilds and the Poetry Forum -* so if you need someone to deploy over there, I'll be happy to go and set stuff on fire!
* You can tell I'm a poet because I use dashes. You can also tell that I may have ADD, due to the amount of times I change the top - hey, at least I try to use dashes tastefully. xd

Welcome to the most intelligent guild in Gaia, Gambol. smile

Oh, and I apologize, Mouse - they should really be emdashes, the way I use them! blaugh When I'm writing, and cannot remember the alt+ combination for the emdash, I just use two hyphens, and call it a day -- in fact, I'll even use it when I DO remember the combination, because it's oftentimes faster than the emdash itself.

I think I need to train my finger to tap the hyphen key twice! sweatdrop This is why I like MS Word (gasp!): Because they format - into -- for you! Just a question... do we have people dispatched to the nether-Poetic regions? If not, I'll get right on it. biggrin

natawa Isn't being obsessive about raping the language the same as being obsessive about grammar? Obsessive about not raping... I'm lost here. You mean you typing correctly, or someone posting crap? sweatdrop
What is this edible spam? o:
And hi. (: Actually, minor (and I do mean incredibly minor) mistakes in grammar don't bother me. It's the constant use of words like "cuz," "b," and "there" instead of "they're" or "their" that really bothers me. That was what I meant in my first post.

My English is far too simple for that. sad But in Polish, yes, spontaneously. I'm good in rhyming, though I like white poems better.

Ok, guys. It is really redundant to introduce yourself with your name (i.e. "Hi, my name is 'I'm redundant'"). Your avatar always has it's name next to it, there is no point in repeating it in your post. It was just bothering me, and every other person seems to be doing it on this thread.

But some people use their *gasp* REAL names. Others are just stupid. I say this with love, though.

Greetings, Gaians!
I've just been accepted into this guild (huzzah for me). I've seen lots of Grammar Nazi banners around, and I was wondering if those are issued or sold by the guild, or if those have been created independently. If anyone has an answer, please PM me.

Hey, this is Trisk. I mostly stick to posting in guilds, things related to Gaia-wide plot, so you may or may not have run into me before. I had to join this guild. It's just what this site needs to exterminate the heathen noobspeakers.

I ran into this whole 'Gaia' thing via some friends a while back, but I never managed to make an account (the server was always busy, shock). I see now that the server was trying to protect me from the abysmal grammar and spelling present in the forums.
After about a week of "*stabz u wiv nife*", I thought to myself 'surely there must be a militant pro-grammar guild to protect me from this evil!' Lo and behold, there was.
