Although that may be true, once a thread becomes as dead as this one has seems to have gotten. One sentence posts are almost a blessing. As long as he is not breaking guild rules by creating one word posts, there is nothing wrong. Nothing really we can do. stare
Except get back on topic, sorry to stray there.

Daemonhunters are an elite army, like Witch Hunters and Dark Eldar. You need to know what you're doing before you pick up them.

Not neccassarily, however do not expect to win your first few games while still in the learning process.
I have learned that the hard way, as I recieved about 30 consecutive losses against my friend Dart in one night, in the long run however, I have lost very few games since that point (now that I can use them much more effectively) and have yet to receive a loss against any of my other friends. Dart and I's games continue to remain close however, I don't believe there is a better player.

No, he was just using 6 months of playing skill, against my 1 night in extremely small quick games. There were a few rule bendings here and there as well. wink

My friend bent the rules until i read them. I still have not beat him. I sometimes bend the rules with Noobs. It's kinda funny.

SamuriNinja24 My friend bent the rules until i read them. I still have not beat him. I sometimes bend the rules with Noobs. It's kinda funny. Its also kind of dickish. And the word noob being used by someone who couldnt bother to spell check their name, unless 'samuri' was intentional. Which I doubt.
Anyways on topic, Ive seen new people pick up the demon hunters with relative ease. Not so much with the witch hunters, but I have less experience with people who play them, let alone begin new armies of them.

By the way, it's Samurai (for the one who points fingers) I also do not find justice in changing rules and taking advantage of those who don't know any better. Trust me, I have many oppurtunities.

I teach people who are new to the game the rules properly. I also teach them about using advanteges of thier armies to achive victories. And I tell them the options they have, and what I would do. But I normaly win... On the Topic of Daemon Hunters, I never fought them. Are they a good army?

Yes, I was about to ask the same question. If you wouldn't mind adding an explanation to "restriction for a game" as well, that would be appreciated.

Once feilded an extra elite unit and I got into close comabat even though I was an inch away, I thought that you needed to be within 2" of an oppents model (that's what the person next to me said!). That kinda bending. I know it's bad and I'm sorry everyone. I have NEVER or EVER thought about picking up a missed roll or move an extra couple inches when no one is looking. Me and cheating......no. Bending is still bad.....I now declare I will be a better role model! Now back on track. Does anyone allie their Daemonhunters? I use tank company with mine. mrgreen

I often allie with my friend who plays Space Marines, it's a great combination...has yet to fail. Or even fall below crushing victory if I am remembering correctly.
By the way Samurai, good to here your fixing yourself up, I'd like to apologize...some of the critisizm after your last post was a bit harsh, not that all of it wasn't true about taking advantage of new players.

I use my 3 Leman Russes, Balisilk (spelling, to lazy to check), Hellhound, 2 Chimeras, to wear them down and then use a teleporting grey knight Terminators and Teleport squad of Grey Knights next to a Inquisitor with Teleport Homer. It has yet to be tried for I had to fix up the Russes and I just got my Basilisk. I hope it works 3nodding
