The cat stared at him with unusual intensity then Merlin's voice filled his head, I'm sorry I missed the meeting, I was quite busy at the club. Feel free to stop by and say hello. And PS Please let the cat return in one piece.

The guards were clueless as to why Troden began to laugh, Very well... He then gave the cat to one of the guards, "Take care of it, and make sure it doesn't get hurt." the guard stared at the cat in surprise as they began to move, this time in the direction the entertainment district.

Merlin, herself was just coming back when Damien's routine finished. He waslked off the stage, grinning hugely at Merlin as he always did after his acts. Merlin gave him a nod and went back onto the stage amidts roaring cheers, "That is our show for tonight but feel free, my dear ones to dance and have a good time." She smiled at the crowd and gave a theatrical bow then the DJ took it from there. Some of the women stood up and began dancing, others began mingling and some left for the night. The "Ladie's Night" sign was removed from the front.
"Heather." The spectacled woman appeared at Merlin's shoulder as she left the stage, "You sent the messages?"
Heather nodded silently.
Merlin caressed her jaw gently, "Good girl. I'm releasign you from duty for now." She said and watched as the small woman left.

Troden entered the buidling, folding his arms as he looked around. The guards were more than happy to separate when he dismissed them, the one holding the cat setting it down in relief.

Merlin, sitting at one of the booths noticed him and nodded from her seat. She was flanked by a gaggle of teenagers, a young man on her left and a young woman on her right. She always found young ones so full of energy, they smelled the best too.

Lina walked in a little while after, glaring at the Rajen leader before walking past him. The cat she had fed moving away from her.

Troden smirked and followed Lina as they went to the table, "And why have you called us to your...very hospitable abode?" he asked, looking at her and then the women around them.

Merlin ran a perfectly manicured fingernail painted dark red up the jaw of the girl who was staring back at her totally slack-jawed, "What's wrong with seeing you once in awhile, you've neglected to come by in awhile, I was beginning be offended." She said, not looking away from the girl. She was a pretty girl, very dark brown hair, straight and shiney. Her eyes were a dark blue and she had a sharp slightly upturned nose and puffy lips.

She looked away from the girl and she sagged against the back rest. The rest of the table didn't seem to notice Merlin talking to Troden or Lina, they were talkign amongst themselves. Merlin's eyes twinkled in the undulating lights, "I know it, that is why I simply asked youto come, it was your choice to pick this night to come and visit me. I do hope the meeting went well. Is Rikku still functioning? Both of you look unscathed which is a good sign."

Troden growled at the name, "She is ever changing...literally...and I am a fast healer, though Lina's dagger took longer for me to recover from." he said, resting his hands against the table, "But I am sure you know about that incident already, so I won't go into details..."

Merlin's expression was completely unreadable, "Indeed, mon ami." She waved at them both, "If you're going then go, thank you for stopping by. Feel free to have a good time otherwise." Then she turned her attention back to the girl, clearly dismissing them.

Lina wasn't expecting her to answer her as she turned around and walked out of the door. She rarely did. She continued walking, looking behind her every once in a while before walkng again.
