Kato the Red Kaze Theonin looked over at Christy as she took a step away from him. He tilted his head some as he watched her. It was obvious what she was thinking, indeed no one was immortal, and a bullet could ground anyone. But she didn't understand, or trust his abilities in combat, something which offended him. So he just pocketted his hands and looked away, letting her have her time to think. Over the years he had discovered that the best way to win an arguement with a woman was just to sit there and listen. The more attempts you make at trying to defend yourself, the deeper the hole gets for you. As they walked in silence his mind too began an odessy. He began to think about how thin the ice was when walking around Christy. If Mathue were to find out he'd probably have Theonin's testicles chopped off with some dirty meat cleaver. He enjoyed danger, but he also enjoyed his manhood. He continued to think about that quietly as he marched along, weighing out which was more important. The chance for a little romance, or his life. It had been a while since he had the opportunity to be intimate, but his life was ultimately much more important. He just wasn't famous enough yet. He just wasn't well known enough.

Pink Tu Tu Of Death Christy looked over at him and wanted to slap him. He was smirking. And then he started to frown. She knew he was thinging the same thing she was. About Dad. She knew her father wouldn't cross her on it. He knew too well the temper she had. The last time they had agrued she had run away, until Monty has found her, three miles from the house they were living in at that time, and she flatly refused to go home until Monty had pleaded and pleaded with her. Christy knew, too, that Mathue wouldn't risk losing his oldest daughter. But, she realized, when asked to pick, he wouldn't hesitate to pick his career. "You know you don't have to worry about Mathue," she said, "He could care less about us. We're protected, because we're Maria's children. And he won't cross me, I'd bet my life on it." She started to speed up, trying to get away from him. She didn't want to see in his eyes that he cared more about his work then her.

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin sped up too, his eyes narrowing considerably as she said that. She may be his kid, but how does that save him!? He was the one that was in danger. Maybe not his life, but most certainly his private parts! "You may be safe, but how does your safety save me!? I can still be Mathue's go-to-guy without my testicles! If he finds out I've been with his oldest daughter he's going to have me castrated in some butcher shop downtown!" He watched her as he spoke, for the first time bowing out to danger. Sure he wanted to be with her. But he also wanted to have all his parts still attached to him when he finally did die. He sighed and growled as he looked away, feeling like that arguement just wasn't good enough. "I do wish I could be with you and get to know you. I wish I could fit in with the family outside the family! Make friends and feel like I belonged somewhere other than the battlefield. But with Mathue as my employer and you as his daughter, I sincerely doubt that that's going to work out. I'm sorry." He sighed quietly and closed his eyes for a short moment. He did want to be with her, get to know her. He found her very attractive, and felt that she was an interesting person, someone he'd like to get to know. If they were in another place, another time, he'd persue her. But things were, for once, just too risky for Theonin's liking.

Pink Tu Tu Of Death She glared at him. "He wouldn't upset me. He knows better. And if he did something to you, he'd know I'd turn against him in a minute. And that would give other families leverage. I know everything that happens around here. And people would use that the minute I turned against him." she explained, "My father is not stupid. And he knows that. And incase you haven't noticed, You are a part of the family outside of the family, or I wouldn't have trusted you with Rhys and Monty would've tried to kill you when she saw you holding me." She just looked at him, waiting for an answer, not sure if she wanted the one he was going to give her.

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin stared at her, his jaw slack. She had defeated every one of his road blocks in one very short speach. He considered what she said and started walking again, a slow walk. After a few moments of consideration he looked over to her and gave a soft nod. "You know... I think you're right... Plus, I'm his best tool for taking out those in power who are against him... He... wouldn't want to give me a reason not to work for him." he smiled softly as he spoke. "Maybe things aren't too dangerous for us after all."

Pink Tu Tu Of Death She looked over at him. Just the mention of his job chilling her. She started looking at the scenery, trying to take her mind off it. "You doubted me? I'm worse then my father. I want something, I better damn well get it." she said laughing at how true it was. She realized her house was in her view. "Well, we're here," she said, sighing, "Time you met my little sister. Just promise you won't hold her against me. I swear she was adopted." She said jokingly, "But, sadly, I've seen her being born, so, I guess she is my sister, sadly." She laughed and ran towards the house. "Race you" she yelled back at him, and then stuck her tongue out at him.

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin grinned as she said she was worse than her father. "Oh dear, worse than your father? What am I getting myself into?" He teased her. He grinned as she said she'd race him. It had been a good long time since he had raced anyone. But he did have the build of an Olympic competitor. "Your'e on!" He chased after her, jogging along at her side. He was built for this sort of thing. Moving fast. His muscular legs carried him along beside her. Of course, he wasn't entirely sure which house it was, so he let her get there first.

roddy mcmay Monty had got in the car with Rhys and Calista. She was trying to keep pressure on both their wounds, having Calista resting in a seated position with Rhys' head resting on Calista's lap. Monty herself was on her knees looking towards them. Tyrel had called Nandy so she could call the doctor who normally treated the family. Monty and Tyler would have to sneak them in the back of a rundown clinic. Monty hated this. Her brother deserved better care. But he would go to jail if they brought him to a normal hospital, easily being linked to the seen Jason and the fat guy had been killed, for both Rhys' and Calista's blood had stained the ground of the ally. Monty was still really mad that Harris just ran off like that. But her anger fades as she realizes she is unable to stop either of the two's bleeding. Monty moves a little realizing no mater how much pressure she put on Rhys' stabbing it wouldn't stop the bleeding, She had to just trust that the doctor could still help him when they got to the clinic. She was more worried about Calista; her body was starting to show signs of shock. It was shock that had killed her mother after the hard labor she had with Joyce. "Calista, walk up okay! Snap out o it. Opens your eyes, look at me. Yell at me." She knows Calista had a better chance if she could get her conscious again. Monty looks at her hands, realizing they where also damaged. Monty stops putting pressure on the shot wound and tears her s**t to get two long strips. She was just in her sports bra now, but didn't care. She wraps Calista's hands the best she could then grabs the shoulder putting pressure on the wound again, which had started to bleed even more. "Calista..." She tried to think of something that could get a reaction out of her. "Hey, get up and get to work. We need to clean that mess up before the cops get their hands on it."

Pink Tu Tu Of Death She looked over at him, mock glaring. "Hey! Just because I'm worse then him doesn't change anything." she said, running up the stairs. "I win." she said, doing a little victory dance. She turned to him, giving him one last warning. "If you want to walk away now, it's fine." she said, trying to sound like she meant it, knowing she didn't. She turned and walked into the house, heading up to her room.

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin grinned and chuckled as she did her little victory dance. He'd never been with a cute energetic girl like her. Most of his relationships had been one night stands with a sexy broad in red. It'd be different to actually have a relationship. He hopped up the stairs and followed right behind her and following her to her room. "When do you think Monty will get here?"

Pink Tu Tu Of Death Christy looked at Theonin, her eyes now wide, remembering Calista and her brother. She'd left Monty all alone to take care of them. She felt horrible. She grabbed her phone, dialing Monty's cell a horrible feeling in the bottom of her stomache. She was horrible. She had cared more about herself then Monty,Rhys, and Calista. She waited as the phone rung, each ring making her even more worried as she didn't pick up. PLEASE! she thought to herself, Please Monty pick up! She looked over at Theonin who was staring at her like she had lost it. "Please pick up Monty, I'm beggin' ya, Sis." she said aloud, "I'll do anything, just PICK UP!"

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin leaned against the wall as she made her phone call. He figured what the issue was. He wondered how she could have forgot that her brother had been stabbed. Seems like that would be something that stuck out in your mind. Though there were times when Theonin forgot important things that seemed like they would be branded into his brain, so he really couldn't blame her. He continued to watch her, hoping that Monty would pick up. He also wondered what they were going to do until Monty got back from the hospital.

Pink Tu Tu Of Death Christy's face twisted in horror. She wished Monty would pick up. She has abandoned her sister. She was so angry at herself she didn't know what to do. She collaped onto her bed. She tried to think of an image were everyone was ok. They were just at the hospital, and you had to turn cell phones off in a hospital. But, her thoughts just turned to Rhys and Calista, bleeding. She tortured herself as she listened to every ring, hoping for one of those rings to turn into her sister's voice. She turned her head into the comforter, trying to keep from crying. Theonin had already seen her cry once, she didn't want it to happen again.

Kato the Red Kaze Theonin frowned some as he saw her beat herself up. He pushed off of the wall and carried himself over to her bed, sitting down on it's edge. He hesitated for a short moment before resting his hand on her side. After a short moment his hand starts to shift on her side, stroking gently. "I'm sure everything's going fine... They're probably pulling into the hospital now." He spoke quietly, just in case Monty answered her phone. His hand continued to scale up and down her side as he watched her, hoping and wishing she'd stop beating herself up.

Kauru Denubis Rachel and her sister reached the apartment, silent the entire walk. Before she opened the door she turned and looked at Lynn. "Lynn.." Rachel was oddly quiet. "Promise me you will never go off following others like that again." She stared at Lynn waiting for her answer.
