Silly, silly elf. That was the last thing he needed to hear right now. Should'f kept your mouth shut foolish woman. She fought to keep her face a neutral mask as she simply nods and leans backwards against the desk, bracing herself, willing herself to breath and her heart to slow down. Horrible uncertainty.

"Well.. I don't know what to say. I mean, that's good! It's good! Right?"
He looked to her, hand extended and laughing nervously.

Thank the gods. She lets out the breath she was holding and pushes off against the counter and into his arms, clasping the hand he had offered her, and lacing her fingers through his as she did so. She smiles up at him and nods.
"Mmm. Very good I hope... As soon as I finish this tournament, I need to return home and regain my true vessle. Now that I've found you... the rest of my searching can wait."

"The rest...?"
He quirked, before shaking his head. "What are you even thinking? There's no need for you to compete, is there? I mean we found each other, let's just leave already."

She looks up suddenly from where she'd been resting her cheek against his shoulder. Her almond shaped eyes searching his...
"You don't want me to fight."
It wasn't a question, rather a remark. She knew he didn't want her too, as soon as she stepped into the arena, she was gambling with her life as did every other fighter. She lived for battle though, thirsted for it... question was... with 3 other somethings to live for, could she fairly play around with something so precious?

"Of course I don't want you to fight! What reason do you have to??"
He exclaimed it slightly louder than he would have probaly needed to, but he was rather emotional about the subject.
Fighting her at HoH had been tough enough on him.. and nearly cost him his life.

"I held my own against you ashke... or rather Ra'kar did. I can be just as vicious as she when needed..."
While Sierra didn't approve of Ra'kar's casual love of making others suffer... when she took to the field, her sentimentalities tended to seep away, making room for the ruthless Mercenary she'd been in the past.
"What reason do you have for fighting? I fight to protect something... or to improve so I can better protect something in the future. I fight because I enjoy it, because It brings me to life--"

"-- a life you can't even live to the fullest because it's literally breaking apart every minute you stand around!"
He was shouting now, angry that she couldn't understand what it meant for her to still be wanting to fight.
"What if you die?! What then? What if you get hurt enough that you can't exactly recover from it? This isn't the Stadium, Sierra--- these people don't play nice!"

She pushes away from him and goes back to her tea. Outwardly appearing calm... inwardly, she was a raging tempest of emotion. Tea... soothing. She sips it a moment and then nods.
"I know where I am and the type of people I stand to face Vahn. You forget... that I survived years of being hunted and in turn hunting to survive and make a living."
She takes another sip and crosses one arm over her stomach.
"You were my reason for fighting... But I guess I no longer have that on my side... since you're hear now."

::The saiya-jin boy Unks stepped into the arena area of the stadium. He looked around his eyes wide somewhat. It was much larger than the one at the Orion, a smirk appeared on his face. He moved to the center of the ring and began to do some shadow boxing warm ups. He was striking the air where there would be an invisable warrior.
His monkey tail uncurled from his waist and then recurled itself as his feet touched the stone once more. He liked this arena, it was big and roomie. He closed his ice blue eyes and began to think of the possiblities::
"This place could be useful. ."

"Tch."
He turned away, slamming his hand down onto the table as he shook his head. "So damn stubborn..."
He turned his head to the side, sighing. "Look, I know you can take care of yourself.. it's just..."

Dancing about the rim of the arena walls one hundred feet above a man glad mostly in green spun about, a rain of flowers swirling about him. He seemed to be dancing to a song only he could hear, the melody of time and space in a delicate balance, a harmony created that was music to his ears. On he spun, a leap pushing him far over the walls and down towards the arena, twirling all the way. He'd land softly not far from Unks, still dancing as a voice came out of sinc with the movement of his lips, "Care to dance?"

"Why take an unecessary risk?"
She smiles softly and crosses the floor to his side. She slips her arms around his waist and resting her cheek between his shoulders, leans against the flat of his back. So close.
"To open their eyes..."
She'd long resented that everyone viewed her as Vahn's passing fancy or plaything. So few in comparison to the bountiful number of people she'd met... knew her as an individual and capable self... or aknowledged her as his equal match...

Shouyin Naw.
The step back with his right put Shouyin's left hand in front, and while he would've rathered there be another weapon in that hand, it was left delightfully open. Or at least, it was when he dropped the cane's cap or whatever immediately after obtaining it. Therefore, it wasn't much trouble to just parry the shuffle-thrust at his throat up and to his right, basically swatting it aside to make room for a counter.
So, following right after the parry, Shou would step in with his right foot, always maintaining that same basic fighting stance, keeping his legs shoulder-width apart and everything. This advance would put Knives' cane over his right shoulder, the blade now out of harm's way. In time with the step, Shouyin would swing his stick horizontally from right to left, aiming to strike hard and fast across Knives' chest, the brunt of the attack focusing on the man's left collarbone.
Considering the strength of the weapon, and Shouyin's own considerable arm strength, the bone would probably break, even if the man was wearing some padded armour underneath his cloak. Aside from that, his chest would most certainly be stinging, the wind possibly knocked out of him; on the assumption he was a normal (or possibly above-average) human being of course. Shou's left hand would remain open, up in front of his body, palm hovering somewhere nearby Knives' right elbow, keeping the arm in check while he struck. His own left hand came into play then, ready the whole while in case something from his opponent got through the main line of defense that was his cane. Palm open, he brought it before the cane and absorbed the blow, his brows furling a bit, for it stung. However, even before he did this, even as his thrust at Shouyin's throat was misdirected over the young male's right shoulder, Knives simply flicked his right wrist back in the opposite direction. The double-edged blade came to rest against Shouyin's jugular.

"I don't care what anyone else thinks... they don't have you. Their not with you."
He closed his own eyes, his left arm around her waist and his right hand against the back of her head.
"I can't lose you."
