"Yes I was at...Babel..." stare eek She half turned suddenly as the name itself made her realise that was why that place had seemed so familiar. "Why the hell would Sun send him to Babel?" Rave continued to follow along behind Durrian, but now her steps were a touch slower as the gears in her mind tried to figure out the full scope of what was going on.

"Not too much about Ra'Kar... but I know far more than I would like about Victor." stressed She spat the last name out like it left a bad taste in her mouth, as she followed along behind Durrian.

"But then again I am a bit of a specialist when it comes to multiple souls in the same body, so I don't need to know too many of the details about Miss Sierra's other half to understand more about Ra'Kar than the ordinary phicyatrist" sweatdrop

"I wondered the same thing when our little pre-cog told me where to find you two. I even told her to recast her foresight. To which she took great offence."

He grinned.

"But we will both have the opportunity to ask your friend later. He is another we have on our intended guest list."

Durrian tossed her an appreciative smile over his shoulder as he headed toward the Detainment Area of GUARDIAN. If Raven was beginning to worry, that the area looked more like a Jail--

"Sorry about the appearance. As far as Jail's go, it's a nice'un but I know it doesn't change what it is. Rest assured though, I'm not sticking him any ordinary cell. The underground of this building has the strongest holding cell, magickally reinforced over centuries. It'll keep young Alexander put, and should he wake in a foul temper... it'll also keep all the damage, to his room."

Even as they had walked through the hallway, lined with fairly spacious and comfortable looking cells. It would appear as if they hadn't been used in a very long time, if ever.

They would descend a winding stair case, 3 ground levels beneath the earth to the isolation ward. A ward equipped to deal with rampaging individuals or off the wall bursts of power that threatened the user and those around them. Despite being so far below ground, the atmosphere was fairly bright, the soft glow of mage lights illuminating the corridor they walked down. Durrian would lead them right, to a room marked #3. Entering through a door, they would be standing in a very small entrance, a large , curved sliding panel covered in runes, blocking the path further. There was a panel to the side. The panel looked like a touchpad and id scanner, standard in any kind of security facility, but there was no english common, no numbers. Only complex runes. Anyone who had not been trained in the code, would be clueless.

Yet Durrian's hand flew over it, and suddenly the runes on the door panel flooded with a crimson light. The room had been activated and the panel lifted to let them in.

It was rather strange, A room with no corners. It's walls were completely round, runes tracing over the continuous circle in rings. Glowing rings of runes stacked one on top of the other.

It was carpeted and in the center of the room was fairly luxurious bed. A bedside table with a lamp of sorts. An overstuffed arm chair, a TV... or what seemed like a TV. While the large plasma screen could certainly double as that, it was also a two-way telecom device that would allow for conferencing. A staircase to a lower level would reveal a bathroom, shower included. It was better than some rooms at inn's.

Durrian sets Silver on the bed gently, unwrapping him from the cloak and tucking him in after removing his shoes, setting them beside the bed.

Gesturing to the rings of runes on the walls, he explains to Raven.

"As you likely know, There is much power to be found in circles. The room itself is circular, the rings are various spells and barriers inlaid to secure it further. He will be safe here, and you won't have to worry about him running off like a thief in the night."

He would lead her back out of the room, securing the panel in place behind them. Out the little entrance and they would head back down the corridor and back to ground level, the outdoors and fresh air.

"Now... where we, ah yes. Victor and the heinous bit-- Ah. Sorry m'lady. Such crude words in the presence of a lady."

He bowed an apology.

"We're trying to pool all and any information on those two. We're also trying to unite a force strong enough to combat the army they are assembling... One with your potential and expertise as you have mentioned... would be most valued as a member of GUARDIAN m'lady."

Rave had followed and left Silver in good conscience seeing as how he would be just fine in that room, as long as they remembered to feed him xp

"You can't beat Victor... I'm sorry if I sound like a disbeliever but I know three things for certain in this world." Hono crossed her arms over her chest and absently tapped the toe of her right shoe on the ground as she spoke.

"One, no one is ever a perfect as you think they are..."

"Two, never think you are safe until all is said and done...."

"And three...Someone that Vahn is afraid of is someone to steer the hell away from!" Raven was known to have a strange sense of humor, but she was trying to make certain now that Durrian knew she was not joking about these things.

"Victor and Vahn will have to face each other in the end, and gods help us all if Kas is not as strong as I think he is... that is unless you manage to have the equivalent of a Magical Nuke in that nifty little bag of yours!" wink Raven tried to lighten her own mood a bit with the last bit about the nuke... but she believed everything that she had just said... never realising that she had slipped up and forgotten to call Kasauga Vahn..again xp

"Now don't get me wrong, I am willing to give you folks a hand, especially since Sun set me on this path...but in the end I know that Vanh and Victor have to face each other again. As for Ra'Kar...I think we need to find out what the hell happened to Sierra before we worry about her other half!" sweatdrop

Durrian's eyebrows shot up as he grinned curiously.

"So you know that the Princess is missing? I'm impressed. We've done a fairly good job of keeping that lil'tid bit under wraps. Although, the captain of a team vanishing without a word to her teammates during HoH was rather bad. Even if they weren't advancing... It was out of character for the Lady."

He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Rave, might get the impression that there'd been no end of headaches while Sierra's staff tried to do damage control on this end.

"Vahn and Victor must as you say... face one another. But right now, Victor has Ra'kar and Vahn, without Sierra is at a disadvantage. We don't know what happened to her... and we can't find any trace of her. Sunstrike and Vahn were the last to see her. And from what we've gathered... Vahn is verily damaged here..."

he tapped his head.

"And here."

His hand moved to his heart.

"The way he is right now... The Scion is useless against those two."

Durrian grinned, Hono was trying to keep the mood light and he appreciated it. Doom and gloom did not become the lord of light.

"Ra'kar is not to be underestimated. She manipulated both Vahn and Sierra to achieve this result... the question is... what result is it?"

Shaking his head he nods to her.

"I will let Lady Reiyvian explain the rest however. She is the one in charge of the efforts to recover the Princess. She and Miss Kimiho are running things in Sierra's absence."

Breathing in a deep breath of fresh air, he stretches languidly.

"First would you like a room and something to eat? You must be tired?"

Rave laughed softly and snapped her tensen closed again at last. Vahn was always 'damaged'.. here!" wink She lightly tapped the side of her head at the little joke as she slid the weapon back into the sheath on her thigh.

"You can show me anything you like...buy I no longer have any need for normal foods, I still crave some things but it is more simple comfort than nourishment..." sweatdrop Hono pulled on the stored power she had drained off of Silver again and pooled a small ball of the black flames in her hand. "I tend to snack on other things now..."

She smiled to herself as she lightly tossed the ball of dark flames back and forth between her hands, marveling in the beauty of something that could be so very destructive, she even managed to forget that Durrian was there for a moment as she pondered what it would be like to have these powers on a genetic level instead of the purely mystical level.

Durrian turned around grinning.

"My Dear, I was offering you dessert not some stingy sandwhich."

His hand trailed over his body teasingly.

"I told you, I won't give up anything I don't want to. I have more than enough energy to draw from to satiate you without causing myself harm. And I think--"

He said stepping into her, smiling, a finger reaching down to tilt her chin up.

"You'll find that I'm especially sweet..."

Raven grinned and leaned in against him as she crushed the black flames out of existence in her hand a few embers floating down to melt little holes in the ground.

"I'm on a diet!" blaugh She spun a step away from him and out of the grip of temptation for the moment....

"But if you would simply like to tell me a bit more about why you think I would make a good member of your team I would gladly take a little sit down with you."Hono smiled that soft alluring smile and batted her long eyelashes at him again.

Durrian laughed and held up his hands in defeat.

"All right Hono, you win! You can't blame a guy for trying though!"

He winked and sat down beside her.

"Firstly, your knowledge of certain individuals could contribute greatly to our sources. Secondly, when this war breaks out, we're going to need more healers than our current staff. Preferably ones who can defend their patients if need be."

Tilting his head back and grinning,

"The healers in our unit, Are also trained in defensive procedures. Some also choose to go for offensive training."

He turned to face her a little more seriously.

"And as you mentioned, you have a specialty of sorts... in dealing with multi-souled individuals like the Princess. Reiyvian could use someone like you."

"I'm not really at my best right now when it comes to helping people...I will give you all the aid I can, but most people are not capable of defending themselves against my hunger like you can..." Rave crossed her ankles and fidgeted with a long black curl, stretching it out straight and then letting go to watch the curl bounce back into shape again.

"I haven't managed to figure out all of this yet." sweatdrop She couldn't help but to think back on the near miss she had just had at the stadium, almost killing the girl that attacked Sun..twice..
PostPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2007 10:29 am

"Ah... that would be our other interest. Reiyvian can help you learn to control your new powers. Please don't take this the wrong way, but we wouldn't let you near someone who was hurt and defenseless until you've learned control."

He smiled softly, his face friendly trying to take any possible sting from his words.

Raven blinked a few times and almost attempted to prod Maddick awake to ask if this was a good idea or not... but letting the ancient vamp rest in peace was actually rather important at the moment. "I would gladly accept any help you can give... I really do hate hurting people who haven't earned it." wink whee

Hono bounced back to her feet, her hair swirling around her like a cape of fire and darkness and she leaned down to him so he could see the miniature sun bursts swirling under the slit pupils of her orange eyes. "So when do I get to meet this mysterious Reiyvain?" 4laugh

Durranis blinked as he stared into her eyes for a moment, his smile spreading into a grin.

"Why Hono, what pretty eyes you have."

Rocking back and hopping to his feet he nods towards the North-west path and begins walking in that direction.

"My guess is she's at the temple, preparing for evening prayer. Besides running the first Division of GUARDIAN, the Lady Reiyvian is also the High Priestess."

Hono blinked and smiled at the compliment, clasping her hands behind her back.

"Oh a priestess... and may I ask what god or gods she represents?" whee This was murky water again for Rave, and she wondered what all they actually knew about her, and what they had only read about her...

"Reiyvian is the speaker for the Goddess Leiyaisha. An elven deity from the Endarian pathenon. Reiyvian is also a 'refugee' of sorts, from the same world as the Princess."

He turned to enter another garden, the pagoda' styled roof of the temple, shining golden in the distance. It had been fashioned in the style of an old Japanese temple, as had several of the old original buildings. At the time however, it been fashioned after nothing 'old' but was rather modern. Despite the passage of time however, the architecture had never lost it's beauty.

"Leiyaisha doesn't have a following on Gaia, neither does Sierra's patron deity. But Reiyvian offers guidance and council to any who ask. Her prayers are non-denominational, as is the temple, it is open to all faiths."

Lady Sierra

"Sierra is away from the guild right now, but I'll page Natalie for you. Also, if you'll be staying a while, your room is still as you left it, Mrs. Decker."

The persocom typed in a pager number, along with a location number and not even 5 minutes later, Natalie, the little blond haired, blue-eyed bundle of energy, bounded into the Dormitories, flying-huggle-glomping Fae.

"Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaae-saaaaamma!"

She beamed up at her bright eyed.

"You came back!"

And Fae almost fell as she was glomped, unsure about how to handle the situation. All of her children had been fairly reserved, the only one who had tackled her usually sometimes Tellus when she was excited. But she managed, neither one falling, even if she had to lean against the desk to do so.

She looked at the girl curiously, her lips forming a small moue. "You didn't think I would. Then I wouldn't get to see you." She smiled then, a soft sad smile, but a genuine one. "I missed you too, Natalie. I decided to consider the offer a little more seriously."I'm going nuts at home, with nothing but the twins to occupy my time, and even then I don't get that since Dante is such a Mister Mom.

There was a sigh, as she looked at the girl and remembered the other reason why she was here. Tellus used to have hair so pale blue that it seemed whitish' blond in the right light. And now, she was gone...
