"I would love to Fulgar. But I would prefer to duel Rave first; I've already dueled a firebender in the tournament, but I wouldn't mind sparring off against you."

Jonah headed back to the dojo, wondering when Rave would take him up on the spar they had agreeded to. Before he got started earthbending, he decided to meditate. It was calming to his mind, and it was always a good aid for a bender. Jonah didn't need to find a place to meditate, as he raised a small block of stone out of the earth, one that resembled a stool. He took his place on the stone block, cross-legged, with his hands on his knees.

He then began to think over what he had learned about earthbending, as well as the techniques he had seen used by firebenders and waterbenders. Jonah would need them for the spars coming up, and he would certainly have to be at his best.

Kurai parted her hair and inspected the cut on her forehead.(A) It was causing a throbing sting like after a dragon wasp would sting her. The tips of her fingers touched the open would to feel and object embeded. She winced as she pulled it out. A piece of glass laid in the middle of her hand as covered in her blood. "So thats what was stinging.." she stared at her hand being amazed that such a tiny piece was so painful (B). Fulgar walked in asking about her well being, "O! its just a piece of glass" She said with a smile. Fulgar informed her about her training she was filled with joy upon this information. "I can't wait!" She was waiting for her training to begin and learn firebending. 'Wow! Im going to learn fire bending!' she was so excited she forgot about her wound on her forehead. Fulgar grabbed her chin and placed his hand on her forehead. She reached up to stop him until she felt the warmth coming from his hand. She had to admitt it was very relaxing and soothing. Her cheeks becoming a rosy tint due to the heat being conducted into her forehead (C) . She felt her body heat rise due to Fulgar fire bending healing technique. She opened her eyes in a daze look, she shruged it off touching her former wound. She felt that the skin had healed and the bleeding had stopped. She was so greatfull that Fulgar was kind enough to heal her. "Wow! Fulgar that was amazing! your full of surprises!" She giggled showing a bright smile. "How about we go train now!" She said excitedly smiling looking up at him waiting for his reply.

“I only wish I could heal completely like a waterbender can, but all I can do is make pain go away for short periods of time.” Fulgar said to Kurai grinning at her ‘you’re full of surprises’ comment. “In small doses heat can be therapeutic, if you have a hurt back or sore joints the heat can sooth. Fulgar started thinking, when did he want to start their training? Now would be a perfect time to do so, Jonah and Fulgar would spar later after Rave’s spar, right now they pretty much had the whole dojo to themselves. “Let’s get started then.” Fulgar said with a wide smile on his face. He turned and walked out of the room his boots making the familiar clicks as they hit the ground, his coat just below his knees.

Fulgar stood at the center of the dojo ready to begin. He breathed in deeply and let out a breath of warm air. “To begin you must learn to control your breathing that is what firebending is all about, breathing. Your stance must be wide, and sturdy, yet still allow you to move quickly and gracefully. Try this.” Fulgar moved into his stance his legs were shoulder width apart his body was lengthwise to make a smaller target his hands were up long his right arm extended but still bent and his left arm was closer into his body to protect his face, and center. “This stance is what I use all the time. It protects your important parts, your face, and the center of your torso which is where most fire comes from. You breathe in before you make a move you movements should be quick and circular turns for basic firebending. Your feet must never cross each other, when you turn like this you must lift up your back leg and pivot on the front.” Fulgar moved his feet into a turn, twisting his torso to conform to the rest of him, he was never left defenseless. “You must never turn your back on your opponent. While turning you must keep your eyes on his. Don’t look at his body to tell you what his next attack will be keep your eyes on his. The body can deceive but his eyes will never lie to you. Every time you throw a punch or a kick you must exhale through your nostrils, trust me when I say this is something you will always want to do, take deep breaths and exhale quickly and sharp through your nostrils when you attack if you don’t do this you will either run out of breath or you will lose control of your fire. You try.”

Fulgar waited and watched to see if she got any of that.

Milo watched Seth, a bit guilty since she might have hurt him. She straightened up and closed her eyes facing him, she grinned a bit then opened her eyes and swung her head to the side. “I am weaker against ice, and more prone to attacks to my torso” she hollered, making sure he’d hear it. She didn't want to pummel him, after all.

Seth got out of his defencive position and looked a little releaved that Milo wasn't going to attack right away. Seth said back, "I am weak from any attacks below me as i can not shield myself fully. It is hard to create ice and keep it solid under the ground." Seth moved his hand up a little and froze Milo's feet. Seth smiled,"Shall we continue?"

Jin noticed someone watching him. By the looks of it, he seemed to be an Earthbender. Jin just ignored him and continued to work. Then he looked back at him. The bender was hungry. Jin could tell because of his face. Jin felt sorry for him. He took out a sack of coins, about 2 pounds. Five gold pieces, two silver, and eight bronze was in the sack. Jin took out two golds, one silvers, and four bronzes. He held the coins in his hand and gave it the starving bender.

"Here. Go get something to eat at another place. If you didn't know, this is an Earth Dojo. Sorry."

"Let's do this..."

Jonah's eyes snapped open, his face in an expression of determination although calm. As he unfolded his legs, he jumped off of the block he was sitting on, collapsing it into the ground. A quick spiral flip left him on his feet. It always helped to have earthbending when trying acrobatic stunts, although it did have its downsides, and Jonah wasn't a natural acrobat.

"It's time Rave. Show me what'cha got..."

Jonah waited in his earthbending stance, ready to face off against his first waterbender. He would have to keep on his feet, since he never saw waterbenders in action. Whatever came his way, Jonah would be ready.

(lol Royoka, looks to me like you got one more student lol god youre a popular man with the young-uns. And I read your tournament bout with the firebender girl, I thought you said she won, and I'm a little confused on how exactly you won. If she was only and [LB]-4 and could do all that, does that mean I can do the same ten fold?)

"Yeah, doing good so far, keep your elbows tucked in as close as possible." Fulgar moved behind her and moved her arms to a proper position. "You wouldnt want to get your elbows clipped off, would ya?" Fulgar said with a grin, "your leg movements need to be quicker, yet you still have to pay attention to where they are if you cross them then you can be pushed over easily" (thank you, boxing classes)

Fulgar moved in front of his new student, "you seem to have breathing down. Now we'll get into some firebending!" Fulgar said that excitment rising in his voice he was excited to see what Kurai was capable of, he'd seen on multiple occasions her great martial arts, he knew she had the potential to be a great firebender, possibly better than him, or any other firebender, there was no doubt that she was untapped potential.

"Get into the stance I just showed you." Fulgar demonstrated it again. "Now take a deep breath in nothing too fast a slow calming breath. Now twist your body to the other side pivot on your back foot and bring your left hand where your right currently is. When you do the movement it must be quick and precise exhale when he throw the punch like movement" Fulgar demostrated it. He moved hisleft leg forward and his left arm thrust foreward closing into a fist at the end, his legs moved with such rapidity that his coat lashed out to his backside. Fire erupted from his fist as a sharp breath erupted from his nostrils. "Now you try."
